This review is for Hair Stylist, Jackie (aka Ki Jang). I came from out of state to visit family and heard about Jackie through my sister who drives 45 minutes to get her hair done by Jackie. At first, I didn’t want to go so far, but my sister convinced me that Jackie was worth the drive. And she was worth the drive. Every minute.I don’t get my hair done often, so I am very picky about who does my hair. I’m so happy I listened to my sis and went to Jackie for a cut and color because she really made my hair feel light and fit the style to my desired length and look. She has expertise in hairstyling and shows passion in her work. I could tell she really loves what she does and is so talented at it.I wasn’t sure what to do with the color of my hair - it was streaked with grey and white layers underneath a dark brown mess. Wish I had a before picture. Think, long wavy frizz due to expired perm with more “salt” than “pepper” ?. Jackie lovingly examined, cut, trimmed, colored, washed, cut, styled my hair for nearly 3 hours. Every minute was spent making sure my hair was going to turn out beautiful. The color was tricky due to my grey and white streaks. I wanted a blended look so that it would grow out naturally so Jackie suggested that I do 3 color toned highlights (not sure of the correct term). After about 20 minutes of my hair in carefully wrapped foil, my hair magically turned into a beautiful array of blended colors that made my face brighter and with much more color.I could go on with words to describe how much I loved how my hair came out, but I’ll leave you Google review readers with pictures to show the beautiful work Jackie did today for my hair. I thought about something I heard somewhere from someone once - “A woman’s hair is her crown and glory”. Whether the saying is true or not, I sure felt like my hair gave me a lift today, all thanks to Jackie’s amazing hair expertise and styling skills. My ideal hair stylist is found and she is a gem ?.
