This is Jimmy with the silver 2000 Nissan Xterra, since the car is still at Kevin's shop i'm going to make it short and update with more content when it's fully repaired. Just want to say that so far Kevin has been very helpful over the phone and understand customer's vehicle issue. Basically Kevin can fix all sorts of problem that other shop can't, also extremely flexible to fit my needs such as drop off vehicle time.

My sister in law took her car here and Kevin told her that the springs were CUT. They were NOT cut, it was the TRD lowering springs I installed. He told her she needed front struts. They installed USED struts and strut mount on the car because they told her the car is OLD and they can't get new parts anymore. Quick google search shows many places selling NEW strut mounts, including the Toyota dealer. What was worse is that the strut mount that they replaced was RUSTED, the bolt is rusted and so were the nuts for the strut mount. Not sure how she was charged $600 for 2 used struts and 2 used/rusted strut mounts. If you want to be lied to and have your good parts replaced with used/rusted parts... AND pay $600... This is the place for that.NEVER go to this place.... At this price, just go to the dealer. At least they won't install USED parts on there and charge you new part prices.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I've been bringing all my cars for the entire family here and Kevin is the only car mechanic I trust. He is truthful and reasonable with pricing. He is able to service many kinds of car makes and models, not just Nissan. I am very happy with the service and genuine kindness.

Well good morning Mr. Kevin. for those of you reading you might want to grab some popcorn for this long sad tale. I dont know who the bigger idiot is.. Us or Kevin. We originally took our big car down there because it was sputtering choking, dying and kevin replaced the gas pedal and did something to the car to make it ok again for a measly 2 months. So we bring it back down there and he apologizes and replaces the gas pedal again. Same thing.. 2 months later the car is back acting up. So instead of trying to find the real problem he KEEPS our money and then sends us off to Craig johnson the biggest scam artist in all the SGV. After Craig claims its a transmission and charges us over 60 dollars for a diagnostic which he failed to mention on the phone, I got mad and said they never said they were going to do that before hand because we were a friend of Kevins! Turns out it was only half the price, a cadillac converter and the other across the way from Craig, got in our car drove with us and SHOWED us the code. Craig only gives a fake made up invoice. Because we didnt want to pay the diagnose fee they actually printed out a message on the invoice... "Customer was asked not to return"!! So in the mean time our 1992 Miata is acting up and since Kevin works on exotics and Japanese cars my husband felt desperate and decides to forgive Kevin since there was no bad blood between them even tho there should have been for ripping us off..... we let it slide... The Husband is getting older in his 70's now and just cant work on the cars anymore. So Kevil lets our car sit there for a month!! it collected 3 inches of dust and looked like complete shizz when we got it back with an "Im sorry I cant figure it out" You call yourself a master mechanic and cant figure it out??!! UNBELIEVEABLE! Here is the worst thing he did.. He made my husband come push the car all by himself out of kevins garage knowing how old he is. The dash got completely busted up in pieces from my husband trying to push it to the street ALONE! Not one of kevins workers cared either.. All of them ignored him ;....( He slipped and fell on the street and hurt himself just outside of kevins property. he had to wait tthere for triple A to tow it home. End of story? I finally decided to end it and sold my beautiful baby for a measly 1400 to 2 20 year old kids that in 4 days figured out it was 2 rings gone bad and they will have her up and running in 2 weks. That car was a daughter to us. it had been in our family for over 15 years. Im speechless with hurt and almost a week later as i look at my empty garage every morning.. the tears come straight back. I hate you Kevin. Your a stupid idiot. I will never forgive you. If I could go down there in person and tell you off I would. I hope those reading this yelp review will go somewhere else. Kevin just wants to make a quick buck and he doesnt care if your car lives, he doesnt care if your car dies in the middle of the road endangering your life.. HE DOESNT CARE ABOUT YOU! Your Just a Hunk of easy money and your the next stupid S***** he gets to suck dry. Kevin we were always good to you and forgave you when you didnt deserve it,so yeah this is personal now. I hope you lose a lot of business for what you did. I just dont understand how you can sleep at night. Where is your Japanese code of honor dude? You shame that whole race. *spits on the ground you work on and curses it* Do the world a favor and close up shop.. Pathetic, 2 kids in 4 days, did what you couldnt in a whole month. Your WORTHLESS!
