Yup- it’s as bad as they say. The old grouch behind the counter Anna was as unhelpful and rude as someone could be. This branch makes the dmv seem like an efficient organization. The postal service should seriously fire everyone here and start fresh.

I would give zero stars if this were an option. This Ross location with its Nasty, Nasty station manager, is awful!!!! Today I was not only verbally assaulted, but she tossed my boxes back at me, refused to service me, shut off the PCs and then, thinking her young co-worker was going to assist me, literally shoved her aside. Why? Because I may have been asking too many questions about insurance and a longer delivery (I remember 10-day ground; she mocked me and said, "We have never had such service [not true]. What planet to you live on?"). She basically verbally tossed me from her castle. I have never had a good experience with this woman and she needs to be laid out to pasture! One time a customer before me left crying after an interaction with her. Why has the PO not done anything about her...pension, maybe. I know people have personal issues and it is Christmas [stress] time, but they should NOT be customer facing. She likes to think she is on some power, control mission. Sad she is so miserable!

Advice to USPS management-replace Ross Post office station manager. She makes picking up my own mail stressful. All other employees are great but she really doesn't like working with the public and it shows. Never any issues until she took over and I've been a resident for years.

Lady who runs this place is very disrespectful, needs to learn how to treat people with respect ... don't like your job then quit... no1 likes her every review is about her being a horrible person ...

I would rather wait 15 minutes in line at San Anselmo P.O. than deal with the woman who runs this post office. EVERY time I come here with a package she asks me what exactly is inside, because you know, it's her business to know. Then she asks how I want to ship it and I suggest something not fully knowing what is the best method. At that point she relishes telling me why the method I suggested will not work, and what the smarter method is. I'm tired of power-mad clerks like this. If you want to ship something without headaches, go elsewhere.

This post office has the rudest employees ever. Ross residents are forced to have a post office box, because Ross has no USPS mail delivery to homes. The postal workers, snap at you if you ask them to do their job by handing you your packages. I dread going into this post office for my own mail. Terrible. Please don't go to this post office. Zero star rating.

Professional and incredibly efficient. I go out of my way to go to this PO over others!

I have never experienced a more rude and unhelpful interaction at a post office. Last week, I went in to ask for the PO Box of some friends who live in Ross because a letter I’d sent with their actual address came back undeliverable. The woman at the counter(older) was unbelievably cavalier, rude and actually refused to help me. She barely looked up from something she was reading. How do the residents of Ross allow this? She should be fired.

Caution! Mail from PO Box was stolen or thrown out by post office employees. Rude, untrustworthy, grouchy employees working there.

There are times I have to bring in paperwork to prove my package is there, before they will go look for it! This post office does a poor job. The manager, a woman is especially nasty & has a horrible attitude. Don't go here unless you have to.
