First and only visit had appointment was with Erica. I showed her what I wanted, chunky layers because my hair has a natural wave. I didn't want anything sculpted or finely layered and I didn't want it short. I specifically did no want a round helmet haircut or a short wedge. I grew my hair to my shoulders so I could have a cut/style and still have the length at or below the jawline. I showed her a picture of what I wanted. I said I didn't want it short in the back or layered like a round hedge or helmet. We talked. I thought she understood. I was there a total of 2 hours! I got a shampoo and 1 hr 45 min of cutting and cutting. She assured me she wasn't cutting it too short. What I got was a boy cut in the back, very short, and a wedge cut on the sides. And it's above my jaw at the longest part. She blew dry it into a Fr*#kin' bubble. I was speechless. Nothing I could do. I paid and left. At first I consoled myself, it's not a "bad" style but it's not what I wanted. But now, a month later I can see how uneven it is on the sides. And she textured it so it poofs out. I have to mess with it everyday which just reminds me of how much I hate it. I can only blow dry it into a big poof. You know once you're in the chair for an hour, you're committed. You comment and are reassured. And she keeps talking and talking until I wonder if she's even thinking about my hair. Obviously not - judging by the results. Won't go back. I regret not walking out after the first 35 minutes. My take is that no matter what you say, Erica is going to cut your hair in the only style she knows. attached: 1. before cut 2. example of layers I wanted 3. what I got

After my daughter tried doing her own hair with much failure, we were able to get the n with Denise and she saved the day with a color correction. It looked so great and we were thankful for her hard work, it looked amazing.

I have been a client of Denise Ayala for over 24 years and no one else will ever touch my hair as long as I have a say. She has always done an incredible job. I am visiting from out of town and didn't know where to go for a cut. I stopped in the Wild Rose and Jillian offered to take me same day. From the moment I sat down and we started to talk about my hair and the previous cut I could tell right off the bat, the girl knows her stuff. This left me so confident to do her thing that usually when I'm quiet and watching what is being done to my hair by others, I was chatting the whole time about travel and our mom's and how we all need friends who will pull is out of our comfort zone. She was a delight to spend an hour of my day with and I walked out feeling great about my hair. Go see Jillian, you'll be glad you did.

I wanted to say that I highly recommend and have been going to Teagan at Wild Rose Hair Salon for over a year and my hair has NEVER looked SO GOOD!!! I get compliments all the time on my cut and color!! Thank you Teagan I can't tell you how much it means to me to have a reliable,talented, and affordable hairstylist!! I highly recommend Teagan and anyone at Wild Rose Salon....I drive from Nevada City ( a hour ) and it's worth it :) A+++ 5 stars from me

I was just looking at some old photos and realized what a gem this salon was. I would take my daughter here and the owner made it extra extra extra special by using glitter on the hair or for tattoos. The owner loves kids. Thank you for being you!

I spend $250 on color and a hair cut. When I got home I had realized my hair cut was AWFUL. My Stylist Erica said she wasnt quite sure what to do with my hair and that she just cut all the damaged hair off. She offered to fix it but I was traumatized, and the idea of having the same person who ruined my hair try to fix it made me sick to my stomach. I asked for a refund of $30 for my hair cut and $60 for having to fix it at another salon. I was told I was harassing the hair stylist and that the owner said it was just someone elses opinion and then I was blocked from all communication. Does this hair cut look like something anyone in their right mind would pay for? I was denied my refund request.

Teagan stated my hair color would cost $150. I budgeted $150. The highest price for color when you schedule for him is $150. He charged me $200. My mom is a retired hair stylist, and I always think of her and leave a 20 percent tip. I spent $240 - this did not include a hair cut. He placed brown color and some blonde highlights on my hair using foil. Standard. This is the most I've ever paid for color. Another reviewer noted his flirting and that was my experience as well. The flirting and inappropriate jokes/interactions made me feel uncomfortable, along with his random choice of pricing. He's lost my business.
