Normally, When I deposit using an app on my cell phone or tablet, which is very convenient and can be done from home, work or inside the car.
It can be done anywhere there is a WiFi or data connection.
However, some checks may not be accepted. In my case, it was a postal money order, so I went to the branch and deposited it at the counter.
A few years ago there was a Wells Fargo branch within walking distance of my house, but unfortunately it closed down.
But it was conveniently located near the Galleria Mall.The bank staff were generally professional in their dealings.
Previously, coffee or bottled water was provided on the table, and I used it when I went there, but it seems that this service has been discontinued since the COVID-19 outbreak.

New ATMs are slow and only accept five checks at a time.
Branch would not accept checks in person and closes before 5:00 p.m.

What happened to the days of walking into a bank and getting help? We scheduled an appt on the WF app but didn't get a confirmation. Called the bank but of course no one answers their phone these days. Risk it and go to the bank only to be told that no one could help us. There was a banker sitting at her desk not busy. The 'person in charge' could have helped us but didn't. If it wasn't such a pain in the arse to which all my accounts I would. Don't recommend this branch. Customer service is nonexistent.

On a normal business day, there is no banker there. I was around 15 minutes on the lane and then they told me “we don’t have any banker here to do wire transfers”.

If I could choose, I would choose 0 stars .I made an appointment for service and no one spoke to me when I arrived. I went to queue, and the person at the counter told me to keep waiting. The staff who finally came out didn't know how to handle the business I needed. She also said that I was late and could not handle it today. The exact thing is that I was not late, but no one was working in the office area. I have not encountered similar behavior in other banks. She kept pushing me away and asking me to come back next time, not wanting to help me. She doesn't know how to handle business and I don't think she is a qualified employee.

I went to this branch to update my new phone number. The teller told me you should contact to call center to doing that. I called to call center next day, call center guy told me doing that through ATM machine. I return back to this branch ATM machine to doing that but the machine didn’t accept it. I went to the branch and asked from one banker after 20 minutes being in the line. The banker asked me to showing additional physical identification documents. This bank and this branch has a horrible customer service. I will quite as soon as possible.

This branch has poor customer service and makes you wait to be helped, go to the one on Harding where they are happy to help you in a reasonable amount of time!

Hours were not great, nobody answered the phone, and I had urgent business to take care of. Not great. I'm guessing understaffed. I want better service from my bank.

I was there on Thursday, May 12 in order $2 bills I was told they cannot receive it on next Tuesday because it’s too late to order so they have to order next week and it should be about two weeks. I told them OK because I had to leave the town following week. When I was back I still haven’t received any phone calls. Three weeks later on May 24th I called them myself and I was told that they don’t have any $2 bills for me because they give away to other customers. Then I had to call back again next day and order with someone else. I still haven’t gotten any response within two days then I called again and talk to the first employee who I ordered with. She told me she’s ordering right now. It’s been a almost 4 weeks and I was told I will receive my order on Tuesday I still haven’t received anything. That is very unprofessional customer service. When customer orders $ employees have to be responsible to hold on to that customer‘s order. Very disappointed and not happy about their service.

My father came in to cash a check for work he did for a client. He explicitly told the teller Sharon not to write anything on the check until they were certain he could cash the check. They asked him for two IDs which he was fine with providing, and they called my fathers client who has an account with them to verify that the check and amount on it was correct, which it was.After everything seemed cleared they began the process for cashing the check which included stamping and writing on it, but out of nowhere the teller now asked my father for his social security number to prove his identity. This came out of nowhere and made little sense especially considering the teller had failed to mention this during the initial exchange of his IDs with her.He has never had to give such information before to a bank just to cash a check, and when he asked to speak with a manager to explain why this information was needed at this point in the transaction to his surprise the manager Willow had been silently watching this strange transaction and declared my father would indeed have to provide his social security number even though they had already begun writing on the check and stamping it essentially making it useless to try and cash it at any other reputable bank.My Father refused to give his social security to such a shady bank, took back the check, and thanked them for their time. It is at this point I'd like to point out my father is Latino, and while I will not explicitly say this awful experience occurred due to his dark skin and accented English. Other reviews of this bank seem to believe not fitting certain profiles garners suspicion and poor services so I leave others to judge for themselves if it's true or not.Long story short we will not be cashing checks here ever again and would advise against anyone coming here to cash checks.

The absolute worst bank of wells fargo. They were painfully slow and are very rude and suspicious. They judge people before they do a transaction . If you have money and don't fit the profile or ethnicity They perceive prepare for a long process!!

Probably the worst customer service I've ever received when you go to an establishment that holds all of your money. I've literally been into Wells Fargo three times today and told to come back to then be told that they only have two bankers and they are busy and they don't have time to help me because they close in 30 minutes. The lady literally did not care that I needed to get something done before the weekend and as soon as I seemed like I was disappointed and was going to walk out she offered to help the next person in line. Worst customer service. I will probably be taking out all the money in both my accounts there I'm going to Bank of America or somewhere else where banks actually care about their customers. Also when you call their phone no one answers. I've tried calling more than 10 times and no one answers. Good luck ever getting anything done here. This also happened after waiting in line for 15 minutes because only two tellers were helping people at the windows when there were at least five other employees inside the bank that were not doing anything.

The teller at the front was very rude. She had an attitude and did not make me feel welcome at all. The only good thing was that she helped me quickly but I feel it was just to get me out of there.
