If other stores had what I needed, I would have never driven 45 min to this location.. The only reason I went in there today, is because they were the only sporting goods store that had what I needed.. I went in there just to get a spare mag, but I might never go back to this Roseville location.. The big guy behind the counter made me feel uncomfortable & embarrassed me in front of other customers.. His exact words "Hey, show me your hands, did you just take something from the rack & what is that in your hands?".. All I had in my hands was my cell phone & the spare mag that I was gonna purchase..

Andrew was very informative and patient with me. As a first time inexperienced gun buyer, he was very helpful. I was pretty nervous about the whole gun purchase process. He walked me through the whole process and made me feel less stupid. Overall, the whole process was great and Turner’s got a customer for life!

Purchased some .177 Gamo pellets and there was a manufacturing defect that meant the sizing wasn’t consistent and lots of the pellets wouldn’t fit in the gun. After waiting a long time for a manager to help me I got attitude and dubious looks when I explained the problem and told that returning ammo isn’t legal. When I further explained that I can’t use them, they are defective! He begrudgingly opened a rifle if the same calibre and when the pellets wouldn’t fit he responded with ‘looks like you were right, do you have a receipt?’ I said that I don’t but I have the credit card and I can show you the exact details of the transaction through my banking app. Apparently this was not acceptable to him, so I’m confused now if ammo can’t be returned at all or not without a receipt or what. I don’t know the laws but either way JD has horrible people skills and this store will never see another penny from me.

I frequent this Turners location and I will not anymore. Some men behind the counter come off as know it alls, and have disrespected me too many times. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere from now on until they start understanding the modern shooter and ask what their experience is before assuming/treating them like they have zero knowledge. I’ve been shooting matches for some time now and I typically know what I’m looking for. If I don’t, I will ask. The NRA has ruined the older generations view on the second amendment and they’re attitude will often lead younger people not wanting to participate in it.

Went in to buy my first handgun, really great experience. Phil spent a couple hours with me, great knowledge and recommendations on what to look for. He also went out of his way to help my girlfriend find a lost weapon of hers in the Turner system down in So Cal. Couldn’t be happier with this location and experience. I’ll be purchasing all my future guns here.

Incredible customer service from Jim at the gun counter. Everyone was very friendly but he helped me out a lot to the point where I know exactly what you got I'm going to purchase which is one that he recommended. My wife and I will be going back by the end of April this is our one stop shop for anything related to guns.

Zero subject matter expertiseZero customer serviceZero critical thinking ability from managementReally a shame I have to write this review. Came in back in November/December to buy a rear sight for a pistol, took the recommendation from the staff and bought a $500 FDE Leopold 2.5 MOA laser site. Went to install it on my weapon this weekend and to my dismay it doesn’t fit my weapons system, fine it’s probably operator error and I am doing something wrong. So I bring it in with the weapon and another weapon I want to buy a site for as well as purchase an ACOG for my .308. They tell me that they did indeed sell me the wrong sight and it won’t fit on the weapon, but this FDE sight pistol.So I suggest, it is new in the box, just swap this FDE sight for the same one in black, put it on my black pistol, sell me an FDE one that will work on my FDE pistol and sell me that ACOG.Their response was, no you’re stuck with the FDE sight that we recommended in error, and then you can just buy these other 2.Needless to say I didn’t give them a dime, never will again and neither should you.

It's a cool place with nice staff but I don't like how you pre order a firearm from them and you can walk in and see people buying them as walk ins before all the people that have pre ordered them are taken care of. I believe that if they have people pre ordering all of those people should be taken care of before walk ins are allowed to purchase the same thing that others put money down for and are still waiting
