Its a great place to get bird food and items related to many sorts of type of exotic birds. Can get food per lbs if not want to buy much. Not sure what type to get? Ask any associate who can help. Plus you can check out all types cages an misc. At times these birds come out an cam be petted. Great place too for cutting wings/nail at a great price. Shop has all sorts type of beautiful birds alot vomr5to the shop as babies. Hand held ones an non held birds. Its where I bought my lil birdie. ? So need a certain type of birds these is the place, don't see the ones your looking for? A friendly staff member ready to help out or answer any question or concern too.

The gals here are awesome and so non judgmental. It’s always hard buying a pet anywhere cause everyone judges you and doesn’t ever believe you’re the right fit. I was very happy here and will be back to get a conure when they come in ?

Large selection of birds there. My baby loves chatting with the cockatoos and looking at other parrots. Aldo, zebra finches, which I brought from here, feel great and my others birds love their food from this store

The best place to board your bird or get toys in the Sacramento area. The staff is friendly and they care about your birds.

I didn’t buy my green cheek conure from here, but always trust them for kennel stays and my wing/nail trims. It is clean and the staff is friendly. My Yoshi has spent a month with them while I was on vacation/work trip. He was very happy there.

While we haven’t gotten a bird from here, I loved their event yesterday and how kind and educational they are every time I come in with my kids. Always fun to see the beautiful birds!

My beloved African Grey parrot, Pepper Girl was purchased over 23 years ago, first as an egg and then brought home by my friend, Donna L. She grew up with several other parrots, all from the Bird Shop… and I adopted her when she was nine years old! Pepper is a healthy, very loving and hilarious bird, queen of our family❣️♥️♥️♥️ I even bred birds for several years, many the Bird Shop bought from me. Although I’ve had to retire due to my health, I continue to keep The Bird Shop first in my heart❣️. So delighted, Tiffany, to see your sweet face❣️ I’ll post a picture of Pepper soon ♥️ She was an answer to prayer back then, and has been a very healthy, happy, well adjusted, delightful little feathered person in our home. Thank you so much❣️?

So friendly and knowledgeable about everything bird! I bought my baby Willow there and I had a ton of questions. They answered them all even though it was already after closing and there were still customers behind me.

This is such a neat place to stop by even if you are not looking for a bird. I brought my 4 year old and we ended up staying for half an hour. It was a blast! All the enclosures were clean and the animals were well taken care of.

The employees were very busy with boarding pets so we weren't able to interact with them much. They had so many birds available to look at and to potentially adopt ! They have affordable prices on food and bird needs. Seen the same exact cage there for $64.99 that petsmart is selling for 99.99!! That should say enough, support your local bird shop
