I love Safeway I shop at the one at Woodcreek and blue oaks. They are also kind and loving to their customers. They treat them like we're family. They are also kind and sweet and the manager, Steve and Derek all the managers and assistant managers just all the employees. They do an awesome job please recognize them please and Doug he's the other manager.

Extremely disappointed in my local Safeway at Douglas/Sierra College this past Sat night around 8PM. Cruised by to pick up just one (alcoholic) item and had to utilize the ONE checkout line (as self-checkout is not available for this type of transaction). I was next in line, but the women in front of me was having difficulty with her bankcard so the checker had to keep running her card through and eventually she had to call someone on the phone. By the time the checker called for backup, however, there were probably four to six additional people behind me. When the (young male) checker arrived, instead of glancing to see if I could easily pick-up and bring my items over to the next checkout register, he escorted a women with a full cart of groceries who was maybe fourth in line? The other shoppers simply followed her to the newly opened checkout line without that old world thought to common courtesy of allowing those who have been waiting for the longest to go first....no eye contact, of course. After a few more minutes of waiting for the nagging transaction to go through...the person behind me finally packed up and drifted to the next checkout aisle. I almost yelled over to the new checker to see if I could just pay for this ONE stinking item! I'd pay in cash, whatever. At that moment, I decided to not make a scene (although I felt invisible and in truth could have slammed the bottle down and no one would have noticed). I simply walked out of line, put the bottle down and walked out. My wife is right about customer service at Safeway.....It's not on par with any of the other supermarkets in the area.

Self check...their sign says they take cash, but after waiting in a long line, I finally get to the checkout, and the cashier tells me they don't take cash, and don't want to remove their sign. I have to wait in an even longer line as a result. I wrote this whole review while in line, and I still have many people ahead of me

Dave the night manager at this location has to be one of Safeways best employees. He always remembers me by name and is very helpful. Dave's friendly personality is contagious and I always leave with a smile on my face. Steve is another great employee from who deserves a shout out. I hope this review reaches there supervisors and that they are given the recognition they deserve! Thanks guys for always being so helpful!

Stopped in to see if the florist could help at all. We ordered corsages for Homecoming but the local floral shop dropped the ball. As you can imagine we were stressed trying to find an alternative. I didn't even get half my question out when the older red headed lady stopped me mid sentence and responded "NOPE". I asked if we could maybe buy a wristband so that we could make on our own. Again she smirked and said "NOPE" we don't sell the supplies. Interesting too that my husband ran by our Fair Oakes to see Marisa and she totally helped us. We usually go to Fair Oaks location where Marissa in floral works but ran into Roseville location on a whim. Won't do that again. Maybe Kroger management will train this team in empathy and service. The Roseville floral dept needs it. There a way to let someone down without being nasty or short. We were stressed enough already.

I don't like this Safeway stood in line for seven minutes at the deli. They were overly staff and I still couldn't get any customer service. So I said I feel invisible out loud and that's when somebody finally came to help me. The bread was stale on my sandwich And the sushi was not so good... It tasted like Pine-Sol for some reason don't ask me how I know what Pine-Sol taste like but that's the taste and smell I had in my mouth... this location is a no for me.

I ordered an iced coffee with simple syrup. The lady rang me up and all I noticed was she charged me .80 for the syrup. It usually comes with my iced lattes. I asked and she said yes it used to be .50 but went up to .80. I went and waited for my drink to have it be called as a latte. I told the guy I ordered an iced coffee. He was nice and happy to remake it but I waited so long in line I couldnt wait any longer. I then said but you charged me way too much for this drink I didn't order. I asked if they could just make it easy for all of us and give me a drink card to get the correct one on them next time? She said she didn't have any and gave me .60 back. Out of curiosit, when I got home I looked up the two drinks. They charged me 5.55 for the latte, which I didn't not order and an iced latte says it is 3.95 and it includes the syrup. So she did short me 1.00 after getting the wrong drink and having to ask for a refund. Horrible service!!!!

Always a pleasure to shop to Safeway the staff is always helpful and very friendly. The pharmacy staff is exceptional and go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you're happy. I highly recommend the Safeway here in Granite Bay.

We walk over here from our apartments all the time and get lunch meat for picnics. We have yet to have a bad experience and I gotta say Ashley is here a lot and always takes great care of us. She knows her deli meats gives great recommendations and always does it with a smile on her face

Yolanda I'm the deli didn't even want to show me my meat and ask if the thickness was okay. It was way to thin and the cheese she gave me she grabbed from the person that was doing the precut meat and cheese. And didn't even give me the amount I asked for. She gave me more then I wanted and didn't want to change it!! They weren't even busy! If I was able to give 0 stars I would!!

Tried to get deli meat at 7:45. Posted hours say they close 9pm. 3 people were cleaning up and said they were going home and would not slice meat. Display of pre sliced meats from the deli was also empty except salami. Fortunately Raleys is down the street.
