I love coming here it's a big store, and I feel it has a lot to select from, but I wish they'd update their hours because I've gone and they weren't open till 2am like it said online and same goes for other relatives that have gone here. Yes, it's pretty late to go at 12am or later, but sometimes I myself get out of work pretty late and just want to pick up a little something on my way home.

If I could give you guys zero stars I would. Most unprofessional staff and pharmacists I've ever met. Always have an attitude, nothing is ever ready when they say. There out of everything and over all there customer service is absolutely the worst. Won't be back I've given you guys a full two years because I live down the street but I'd much rather travel 15 miles to a much better pharmacy that ACTUALLY CARES not to mention as I'm sitting in the waiting room I can hear all three girls talking trash about the customers and me saying we should go somewhere else. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL. No one should have to go anywhere else you guys should be giving good service and be more organized. PERIOD

UPDATE: I just posted the following review, and Safeway instantly posted an old, inapplicable "response" with a 2022 date on it!! What a cynical, indifferent tactic for a pharmacy. Will they take the fake response down now?Here's the review I had just posted: Had an appt for Covid booster at this pharmacy, solely because it was nearby and I got prior shots there. Man at counter seemed to be new. He got a co-worker to assist. She asked for my medical card and I gave her my Medi-Cal card. She asked for my "pharmacy card" for "Part D." Covid shots have been covered under Part B as preventative care, not Part D. She then saw the other medical card I have and said Safeway doesn't take that. They not only "took it" the last 2 or 3 times, but it is still for MEDI-CAL coverage and the other company just administers it. I'm already in this pharmacy's records. I asked if anything changed as to covering the shot since the last times I was there. She said, "Yes." Nothing else, no explanation, no suggestions, nothing. I said I could just pay for the shot. She said, "No." Since when does a pharmacy not take a credit card or money?A second woman also nearby at the counter is the one I believe gives the shots. She watched, said nothing. Very poor, uninformative, indifferent "service," especially with significant health issues involved.

Unfortunately customer service is terrible. The pharmacy technician said meds were ready to pick Up for my wife which they were not. I waited 25min for pharmacists to fill. Called few days later and tech told me to call back 4 hours later to see if mine were done. The tech could of made effort to reach me Instead I had to call back again & told her to please check for my urgent meds. She was rude on phone & then went to check and said tomorrow they would be in. Safeway Pharmacy needs to hire better staff or patients will go elsewhere. PLEASE PHARMACIST IN CHARGE TEACH TECHS CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Pharmacist today at Pleasant Grove, Roseville location was very RUDE, dismissive and late. I had a preset appt for a shot, checked in, waited, and she ignored me, continuing to address newly arriving customers. I had to inquire twice and then she told me: "I'm sorry we're a pharmacy, we have other things to do" in a nasty, condescending tone. When she got around to helping me, it took just seconds, easily managed at or near the appt time and without rudeness, had she felt like it. Contrary to something else on this site, they are not masked there, although I was. Not every customer is of an age or health status that they can safely hang out indefinitely in enclosed public spaces in a pandemic. If a pharmacist doesn't know that or know not to speak to a customer that way, then I wonder about that pharmacist.

Absolutely 0 customer service! Constantly running out of medication and not filling prescriptions on time. They could care less what your doctor prescribes to you and will fill what they want and when they want. It's really a shame, I've been using them for almost a year and they started out amazing and have declined to the point I will now have to take my business elsewhere because they can't do their job! If you work there and read this, your job is to follow doctors orders! You're getting paid a lot of money from my insurance and I expect quality, professionalism and my prescriptions to be filled and on time! Do what my insurance and I are paying you for, to do your job!

Not.at a time when people are encouraged not to shop I stores but order online for pickup or delivery, SAFEWAY FAILS.miserably! After making an order for pickup and spending most of my weekly grocery allotment I was told that it couldn't be fulfilled on the day of my pickup time nut that I would habe to wait till the next day.

Recently transferred my medications and I I had excellent service that was fast and the staff protected my privacy. They were extremely friendly and helpful and tediously clean. Everything was clean

I have a LOT of meds I need filled ever month and they are always on top of it, I changed from 4 different pharmacies over one year about two years ago due to the amount of problems I’ve had with getting these meds filled on time and without getting harassed (looking at you Walmart on pleasant grove) because of the type of meds I have to take. I can never thank this pharmacy enough for the work they put in for me. They know me and most everyone I’m in line with by name and are always VERY friendly and helpful.
