I came last week to get two strawberry parfaits and there wasn't any. Today I called to check if there was any before I came and customer service picked up the phone. Her name was Jess. She was great. She put me on hold. Checked. And told me there wasn't any but the lady in the bakery department said to give her 20 minutes. I asked for two. And Joelle from bakery was so friendly. And she made the most perfect parfaits. I've been eating hers since I was a kid and the presentation and taste was the best ever. Thank you Jess and Joelle!!!

This location is easy to get to and they have a good selection. They also have a convenient gas station.Staff are helpful but when busy the lines can be long.

This has been my go to grocery store in west roseville for 10+ years. The service has always been great but today the butcher (Mariah) went above and beyond today and cut me some chuckeye steaks out of a roast because there weren't any on the shelf. She was awesome. The staff is always friendly and helpful at this location but I felt extra special today. This is why I always come back.

OK first off I wrote a review and it made no sense so I'm a raced it and I'm doing another one first off. I want to say that Safeway is a nice place to shop. All the employees are sweet, kind and loving to their customers first off I want to recognize the managers who I know as Steve Derek and a new young lady name Justine being a manager takes a lot you have to do a lot and work really hard at your job and that's what they do. taking Samantha's place and then there's Michelle Travis, customer service, Jess as Jessica, Barbara, Johana, Leah, Lim there's so many outstanding amazing workers for Safeway in the daytime and in the meat department you got Mariah Carey, Dave and Steve and Special Ed. They do an amazing job in the meat department I think really seriously you guys need to give them a raise a bonus I want to forget Brandon can't forget Brandon so I missed quite a few but you know who you are then in the produce department there is Jeremy Troy and Frank they do an amazing job in the produce department. They're awesome then you got the night crew which Nicole Doza as Jennifer Tami tine,, Heidi Almighty and you got the new employee. Her name is Tami and Gabriel cashier then you got the graveyard people who is Johnny then Bree there's John boy Safeway has an amazing crew. I shop at Safeway. I am there almost 24 seven no really I think of them as second family when I'm not with my daughter and family then I think a Safeway is my family and I help out sometimes they are amazing group of people and I think seriously you guys need to recognize them a little bit more than you guys do please all deserve something some recognition this Safeway is awesome. I love my Safeway Blue Oaks in Woodcreek. Thank you Safeway employees for what you do every day to make Safeway a better and nicer place to come to and shop amen

I always go to Safeway sushi bar when close to one on my lunch. Always the nicest chef's. I have never had an issue. Sushi chef at this location does not want to be there. And it shows. No customer service, rude.

Recommend shopping at this location before 9PM, as they staff soft at night. Makes sense for the business, but not optimal for a good shopping experience). The back of the store was chock full of freight that needed to be pushed to the floor. I roamed the store for about 15 minutes, looking for someone to assist me with a product search (I didn't want to bother the cashiers who were busy with customers). Did not find one soul to help...15 minutes. Needing to wrap up my shopping trip (if I weren't picking up items to take to my parents, I would have simply left), I asked a cashier if they carried a product, he said yes, said where, and I shared I had gone down that isle four times already. Cashier said he would help (moments later I hear on the PA system...customer needs help on isle 13). Five or so more minutes, no one showed up. I return to the (same) cashier to checkout and he asked if I had received help. I told him no one showed up so I gave him. One star is for the cashier that did attempt to help me, despite being the only cashier open with a line of customers he had to tend to.

Last Friday hubby and I came in to do some much needed grocery shopping, including our date nights in and stopped by US Bank's ATM as well. Browsing around I spotted a section of Claire's branded products with the most adorable Valentines Day accessories we just couldn't pass up for our daughter! And as we walked through the store I couldn't help but grab more for her, from stickers to candy lol and even some necessary snacks packs and Valentines her school needed that included a card for her teacher! The steak, kimchi fried rice and banana bread hubby made was amazing and the discounted iced carrot walnut pound cake was a winner for hubby and our daughter(I have a slight reaction to walnuts)! And yes I spotted my favorite dark chocolate and bought them out, lol I may have an addiction! I would recommend this location, just inspect apples, their were some bad ones and we'll definitely be returning, the staff are friendly and we were happy with our purchases! SYOY! :-)

My family has been shopping at this Safeway for years, and we have generally been pleased with the service we've received here. Recently, though, the customer service at this store has really taken a dive. During our past two visits to the store, there have been very long lines at checkout and we've had to bag our own groceries. Tonight, my wife had to wait in a long line because only one checkout line was open. When a second line finally opened, the checker was rude and basically ignored my wife while she bagged all our groceries. That is abysmal customer service, and we may have to consider other options for buying groceries.

I usually don't like to leave a negative review unless it's really bad, especially of a store I've been a customer for the last 18 years. I placed and paid online for an order this morning for in store pick up for early this evening. I ordered some Hagan Daz ice cream as my friend told me they were offering a good deal on the ice cream, also included on the order some strawberries and Chicken broths. I received a notification mid-day from Safeway that my order has been canceled. Confused, I called the store to find out why my order was canceled as I did not cancel the order. The associate says I need to talk their manager and transferred me but came back on the phone and told me that she spoke to the manager and that the order was canceled because there was a glitch on the pricing of the Hagan Daz ice cream on their online app so they cancel my order. They would not honor the pricing. Devastated I will not be picking up the ice creams that I was looking forward to picking up later. Yes Devastate! we are talking about ice cream here. I am so disappointed at the way they handled this. I understand that they learned there is a glitch and that pricing wasn't what it showed online but it's not my fault there was a glitch and they should have honored it. They have my email address and my phone number, at lease reach out to me and explain the issue and not just cancel my order and leave it up to me, the customer to find out why I no longer have an order in place. The lack of communication and the lack of customer service in this instance has now lost me as a customer. I am more than happy to do my business somewhere else.

Closest store to where I live and a mixed review. I take care of my pharmacy needs and overall no problem there, Dominic esp is very personable and remembers peoples names. Maybe it is labor shortage or trying to get people to self checkout but lines really long in last year at times. And my key issue in last two months is new floral manager selections are horrible. I tend to buy carnations either mini or regular cause they last, and at least 3 times none available, only expensive Mothers Day gifts/bouquets. Went to another Safeway to get what I needed and to Trader Joe's for there floral selection and reasonable pricing. Hope things improve in that department.

Gretchen is awesome! She helped us select a bunch of items for a cheese board and chatted with us on the types of cheeses and accoutrements to go with them. Will definitely be coming back and asking for her, and her suggestions. Very happy

This is one of the only Safeways in west Roseville if not the only one. I can honestly say that I've never had a bad experience here. The staff is always friendly and their turnover seems to be low. I've lived in the area for years and have seen the same people for just as long. With the new grocery stores popping up on every corner around them, I am sure they are sweating. Before the opening across the street they redecorated, clearly hoping to fit a better more modern aesthetic. It works. I appreciate the consistency that I get with this Safeway, it's always my first go to shopping stop when it comes to groceries.
