I have tried to schedule twice with VETCO for the vaccine clinic in the last two months. They cancelled last minute same day on my first attempt, and sent a little coupon as if that makes up for my time. I rescheduled. On the second attempt, my cat soiled himself and carrier so I had to carry him in. He’s completely leash trained, and was calm in store and just sitting in my arms with a full harness and leash on while covered in pee on his legs. I had one of the first if not the first time slots available (no one else there yet). The employee told me I needed a crate for my cat (I haven’t seen this requirement on a reservation or advertised). I explained what happened and was told they could try to find one to use. After a minute, I was informed they had no crate for me to borrow so I’d have to ask the front for one and possibly buy it. I ended up having to buy either an expensive cardboard crate or small carrier. I bought one. I finally returned to the clinic side of the store only to find out their digital system was down. After waiting several minutes with multiple other people and pets, they informed us we’d have to wait for the manager to get there in 30min and hopefully be able to fix it. If we couldn’t wait they could call back or send a coupon. Terrible experience and no offer was made to refund the carrier and I didn’t feel right asking to return it since my cat had pee on him. 100% would not recommend vetco or the Roseville Petco/vetco for vaccines.

Efficiency at this store is in the toilet, waited almost an hour and a half for my booked appointment. I would recommend taking your pet to professionals for their treatment, spending well over an hour in a Petco is inexcusable.

Charged me for rabies when my dog already had it. Useless and I want my money back!

The only good thing was the fact my puppy got a needed vaccine. She is 2 days away from being 12 weeks but the wouldn’t give her all 3 shots she needed due to her being the 2 days away. If you make an appointment don’t expect to be seen at that time unless you’re the first one of the day. Even another customer said she’s been disrespected at this location but needed the rabies vaccines for her dogs. The vaccines are given on a metal table in the middle of an aisle in the store and if I’m paying over $50 for one vaccine I’d like to at least be seen when my appointment was scheduled. They want you there 10 minutes early only for you to wait 30 minutes to be seen. I was also told that I needed to get my puppy in training classes now and not wait until she’s vaccinated because she needs training but she’s not even 12 weeks and I’m not taking her to a training class until she’s fully protected against everything.

I recently bought a guinea pig, and we named him Kenzo. My son Bourne also brought home a jumping spider whom we call Balty, which is short for Balthazar. This is the reason I've been to petco so often in these past few days.

Always amazing staff, clean environment, and well maintained store! Today my hubby and I went in for the millionth time and were helped by Courtney! She was just the kindest, most welcoming and helpful associate I can honestly say I've ever met. This is a great location with amazing staff, especially Courtney!! Thank you Roseville Petco!!

I didn't really understand the point of making appointment. I came with my dog after making an appointment and stood there for about an hour. Filling out all that stuff online just for you to have to do it all over again once you get there. 🙄. The staff are really nice and the Vet knows her s**t. And the prices are ok. I would much prefer sitting in my car until I'm next in line and getting a text then praying my dog doesn't do its business inside the store waiting so long. How embarrassing.

I had a great experience at Petco recently, especially with their grooming service for my dog Bentley. McKayla did the grooming and was not only friendly but did an excellent job. Bentley looks fantastic, and the overall service made my visit enjoyable. I appreciate the positive atmosphere and the great care they provided. For $85 you get a nail buff and trim, shampoo/conditioner, a haircut and he got his glands taken care of. I added a tip on there but that's not a bad price at all!

Extortion The vet clinic here is only out to extort money from you. It's funny how they refuse to give a prescription for $30 flea medicine unless I spend $100+ on fake and unnecessary procedures. I finished with the vaccines and the charges are never ending. This place is a boondoggle. Don't don't don't trust the corrupted vetco vets they have literally sold their souls and don't have the credentials to work elsewhere.

Very nice customer service and Veterinarian Service. I'd highly recommend this for an inexpensive way to get your dog up on all its vaccinations.

I took my small dog in for haircut and was quoted $55 and ended up paying $110 ($20 tip). Wouldn't have tipped but didn't know the price until I got to the register! He needs a haircut cut again and it's only been 3 weeks!

I took my older dogs here for vaccinations. They were over due and I didn't have records. I was doing it because I needed to board them while I moved. The vet tech insisted on extending their vaccines out to 3 visits making it impossible for me to get them done in time. As an old dog who really only needed rabies it was unnecessary trouble and ecpense. I told the vet tech I needed them done in one day but she refused. Unnecessary caution causing me extra appointments right in the middle of my move. Then I tried to schedule a grooming appointment and Petco insists on a vet permission because my dog has idiopathic epilepsy (has mild seizures once every few years) So they need permission for a bath!?? They keep setting up road blocks for me and I have no idea why you would do that to a customer. You're not supposed to make it harder for me to give you my money, yet you do. Sticking with Petsmart.
