Have received great customer service here… I’m sad to read the comments of the staff treating people of color poorly. Just the last time I was there I witnessed quite the opposite.

EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE AND RACISTS.Came into this store, all associates would just look up and down at us, they would not greet us at all or help us. After 20 minutes passed by and grabbing the clothes to try on they finally asked if I needed assistance. These employees would only attend and help out their race, and I’ve never felt so furious and uncomfortable. I truly love madewell but this store is by far the absolute worst.

Came to the store in the Galleria on 8/30/23 in the evening. I wasn’t greeted or helped at all. Not a word from the 2 white girls working that evening and the store was empty. They just looked me up and down. A white woman walked in and they were oh so friendly and helpful. Unbelievable!
