Jeff- hands down the best person to work with whether is buying or trying to refinance. Highly recommended. I have no knowledge of real estate knowledge and Jeff always make sure he explained the process and he is always ontop of everything. 5 stars !

I'm am in complete shock at the incompetence of this company. Very unprofessional attitude from the agent. I was in escrow for 7 weeks due to their negligence in getting the paperwork needed to complete to process. My realtor finally retrieved the paperwork needed. Now they are changing all of the terms and want $12k MORE at closing than the approval and now I have to eat all of the cost I have incurred and have no home. Merry Christmas

Erik Petersen and his team (including the wonderful Christy Cisneros) were amazing to work with during our home purchase. Erik and Christy answered each and every one of our (at times many, many) questions in a very timely manner. We started our pre-approval process while we still lived ourseas and Erik was on top of everything that needed to be done. Considering the huge time difference between Europe and California, everything came together smoothly and we never once felt overlooked. Once we were local and under contract, it was great knowing that we had an excellent team working for us during our house buying process. We highly recommend Erik and his team!

Michael Gallagher and his team were amazing through the entire process. I wish all businesses I interact with were as professional and courteous as this organization. Lyle Innocent is most certainly THE BEST out there. He and Dawn made me feel comfortable from the minute I walked through the door. He outlined the entire homebuying process for us, from the very beginning and there were no surprises. I never once had to wait for a return phone call or email. We were always made to feel like we were his first priority. As first time homebuyers, feeling confident was the most important thing for me. I have already recommended Lyle to several people that I know are considering buying a home. You can't ask for better service than you get here!

Michael Gallagher is my man at Alpine. I have done two refinances with him and his team and I could not imagine doing this process without him. He communicates so it makes sense and makes the process super easy. His team stays on you for what you need and the process is smooth and both instances incredibly rewarding emotionally and financially. Highly, highly recommended!

MICHAEL GALLAGHER is probably one of the best guys that I have ever worked with. His team were so diligent and professional. They answered every question promptly and clearly and always kept me up to date. This was my first home purchase, and I wish I would have known the process was going to be so easy. There are so many perks in going with Apline Mortgage. He and his team at Apline will be my go to loan officers from here on out.

I would never never use or recommend this company. I have been working with Bruce, and I can never get a straight answer. We signed papers on monday after a 45 plus day escrow, and now he says he may get it closed by friday. This is not acceptable. I purchased many homes and have never had to do the work myself. I have never had it take four days to close after signing either. If you want professional and efficient service, don't use alpine mortgage.

MICHAEL GALLAGHER is an exceptional loan officer! Not only did he get my buyer into a loan that put her into better financial situation than her previous lender but he also was very thorough in explaining all the details! His communication throughout the process exceeded my expectations and we were able to close earlier than expected due to the diligence of MICHAEL and his team. My buyer and I couldn't be happier with the outcome of her new home purchase and we owe that to MICHAEL!

UPDATE: One less star for the amount of spam I receive related to Alpine Mortgage. I get at least 3 things a week about life insurance for my "alpine mortgage" loan or telling me I have to act now to insure I can make my payment. I expected the mailers from all the companies that get bureau report information and the ADT hawks... but not so much from them. Original review: Really good. Erik Peterson got the loan closed. Short sale experience was terrible with the SELLER's side but that wasn't on Alpine Mortgage. They were ready to go but it made it so we had to do everything last second and rush it and still got it closed the final day we could for the Short Sale approval letters. The team was really good. Everything went well overall. ONLY NEGATIVE: The reason I'd like a 4.5 stars option is that I just don't like the fees wrapped in. Part of my loan included a grant, so I knew the rate would be a bit higher, but closing costs were incredible in the amount. Hoping when I refinance at the height of the housing bubble, and in turn getting 20% equity, I can get a lower rate and COST to refi. Will check with alpine and others.

Jim Seibert's team at Alpine Mortgage Planning could not have been easier to work with. We had worked with Jim several years ago and were very pleased, so we sought him out again for a home addition re-fi loan. He was very helpful explaining the procedure and what to expect, and the process was completed in a very short time. All the people who contacted us from his team were very professional and, again, helpful in explaining the steps we were taking. We have no complaints!
