Kept trying to call at 6pm to get a haircut, after 4 calls and still no answer we decided to drive there. Arrived at 630 and a woman in the front was counting cash. We stood there because we didn't want to interrupt her and have her loose count, after about 1 minute she shook her head at us and said "what" ..... Asked if she had time to cut my hair and was told no we close in a half hour. All I needed was a quick trim, I have never been treated so rudely, I didn't even know what to say. To the woman with the glasses working the front, you are extremely unprofessional and should not be working in customer service.

My hair looks so sticky my blowout curls open in less then 1 hour my hair looks so bad to go to party I have to wash it again.

I am shy, socially awkward, and honestly dread getting my hair done because I'm not great at articulating what I want--that's on me. But the stylist repeatedly exclaimed my hair was "too long, too dry, and too tangly." Over and over and over. Loudly. It was utterly humiliating. I know my hair isn't in great shape--that's why I'm here. She said my hair was too long and too dry for highlights so I quickly scrapped color and asked for just a basic trim. It's way shorter than I wanted, despite my repeated requests not to make it too short. And now it's incredibly bushy and just a mess. I HATE my hair. Plus, she was very aggressive and very rough and hurt my neck while washing my hair. Seriously the worst experience I've ever had and I will never be back. I can't wait for it to grow back so I can go try somewhere else.

Worst experience ever, refused to do my hair because she didn't have enough time I wasn't asking for a miracle all I wanted was to be bleached to even out my hair I know it takes a couple of sessions to get what I wanted it's not my first time I've been bleaching my hair for 4 years now she was more worried about her vacation in two days then being at work wasted an hour and a half of my day I will never book at JCP again

I had Taylor do my hair styling and I was very pleased with her work and work ethic. She knows what she's doing and is knowledgeable about hairs and hair types and different hair concerns. She's a gem and has a pleasing personality. She will make sure to give you the look that you want.

I had tried to highlight mote own hair at home. I liked the brightness in light but it had lots of orange I used foils so I had depth not to my root. But I tried again to lighten my whole head to go brighter bad news! I was bright yellow n toner didn’t take. I added a mushroom blonde it was nice color more light brown blonde but from scalp to end zero depth. It aged me n was not appealing. So I called jc penny salon Roseville. They took me in almost immediately but I can see their concern. The supervisor Whisper asked what I hate most about it? I explained scalp to mid no depth . She got me instantly and began to guide my stylist all the way through. The conditioning service was also great greatest head message ever! And my hair had darker lo tones again near my upper triangle n around my face. I couldn’t believe what they accomplished. whisper gets coloring the science the process and styles like angling vial age and she explained and became excited seeing the processing take place as they worked it! N worked it!!!!! I hope jc penny keeps these prices so the stylist can be tipped more according to their work. Here is my before n afterService: Hair coloring

I have had Ann Mare cut and highlight my pixie the past 2 times I've gotten my hair done. She did a REALLY great job. I showed her a picture, and she nailed it. She listened to me, and actually heard what I wanted. I prefer to style my hair myself at the saloon- that way I know if it's really going to work for me. She let me do that with absolutely zero attitude about it. I will continue to see her.

The front desk lady's were so nice, I did a walk in appointment and they were able to get me in the same day just a little later. The reason for the one star is because of the stylist I had. I don't wash my hair everyday my hair is already producing a lot of natural oil so I wash it once a week. The stylist Yolanda judge me for only washing it once a week. I let that pass but she asked me if I wanted to wash my hair and I said no thank you because I just recently washed it. She constantly repeats my hair is "too oily I need to wash" or she said "I can't even cut your hair it's too oily" I kept saying no thank you and it got to the point where she was just being rude. I asked her to take the bib and neck towel off me and she insisted she can do a trim. I've gotten my hair done by many of stylist before and none of them refused to cut my hair because of a wash.

Well... You tell me.You can see my before, what I wanted, what I got and after returning for a correction. I had a "master" stylist...She said i had too much gray for it to show up. My hair was pretty dark when I started. Oh well.Services: Hair coloring

Very disappointed with the outcome of my haircut. I talk to them first & show the picture of the haircut I want. She said it was nice & she can do it. I was surprised when I look in the mirror & found out that my hair is too short & not the same as I want it to be. She said it was the same as the picture. Not coming back in this salon.

Zero stars. Had to reschedule twice for a balayage. (This was probably a sign NOT TO GO HERE) Came out with highlights and something that the stylist unfortunately forced on. Without notifying you, they cancel your appointment. OR! If you do have an appointment made, they'll call you less than 24 hours to tell you they over booked you AND will cancel you. Please please please don't waste your time here. Find a salon who values your time and values their work.
