Hair type: 1 daughter has dry hair, we've tried lots of products. They never work. Stylists did it and 9 hours later. Headed to homecoming and still frizz free and beautiful

They currently are advertising a back to school kids haircut special. A few weeks ago I walked in to get 2 clean up boy haircuts. It was for back to school. Paulina did one and did a fair job, it was a quick clean up. After she was done she said she could not do the second cut because she had an appointment. Another stylist came in and at first said she would do my second child but then said she also had an appointment. Another stylist did my second child’s cut, which he ended up looking like he did not get a haircut but I had already waited and did not want to complain at that time. The two “appointments” for Paulina and the stylist who came in both where no shows (very suspicious) I got the point you don’t want to do a cheap haircut. I paid $20 each cut each took about 15 min max.
Picture day is this week and I made appointments one with Paulina and one with Saleana for haircuts. They still had the special going. I confirmed the two cuts over the phone. Today my daughter took my boys in for their appointments and it just so happens that neither one of the stylist know how to cut boys hair! Mind you one of the stylists had already cut the boys hair a few weeks ago. They wasted my daughter’s time, it was a simple cut! Would have paid full price if they had asked. Point is, if your stylists would rather make no money than less money for a special that you heavily advertise, don’t have a special instead. Wasting people’s time.

Wow! I was very pleasantly surprised with the manager, and my stylist. The moment I walked in Taylor greeted me and got my stylist, Jill. Jill was such a pleasure and cut and colored my hair exactly how I asked. The whole service was great, especially as I’m older and they were so good to me.

This review is for Brenda Curtis. I came to her twice - once for highlights and once for haircut. I was satisfied with my highlights and that was the reason why I came back to get a haircut. My haircut is a disaster! Brenda didn't take anytime to discuss with me the details about the haircut, she was totally careless. In fact, I asked her to even out my hair and asked her if she agreed that the right side was shorter than the left. So she agreed with that assessment, but as a result made it a lot worse. My hair on the right side looks even shorter than before! The way she acted was unprofessional and obviously she didn't care about my hair. I am extremely disappointed and unhappy. I will never come back.

I went over yesterday to request Informacion for a haircut. There were 3 women in the front desk. I requested information about haircuts and prices. To be honest the 3 girls were not friendly at all, super cold and careless. I made an appointment but since they made feel uncomfortable I looked for reviews and I’m glad I did. I read they are rude and not friendly at all. So I decided not to go. I won’t put my hair in someone who seems not to enjoy they job and treat customers so poorly.

Kept trying to call at 6pm to get a haircut, after 4 calls and still no answer we decided to drive there. Arrived at 630 and a woman in the front was counting cash. We stood there because we didn't want to interrupt her and have her loose count, after about 1 minute she shook her head at us and said "what" ..... Asked if she had time to cut my hair and was told no we close in a half hour. All I needed was a quick trim, I have never been treated so rudely, I didn't even know what to say. To the woman with the glasses working the front, you are extremely unprofessional and should not be working in customer service.

I'm completely disgusted by the way we were tested today when we came in for my daughters hair cut. She has very curly hair and chose to do it herself today. It was in bad news of a hair cut and dry. First, our appointment was with Jenny and got changed to Yolanda which I never agreed to. Then Yolanda gives me a dirty look and says "don't you ever use conditioner" Yes! We do! She just did her hair herself and is 9 years old. I go and sit next to my daughter while getting her hair washed. I'm not at all happy with being talked to like that. Then a customer that apparently had been waiting for Yolanda decides to come up to my child TOUCH her shoulder and whisper to tell me to use conditioner on her hair. Let me be very clear. I have two girls with curly hair and cannot keep enough conditioner in the house. WE USE IT CONSTANTLY! Let me also say IT IS NEVER OK TO TOUCH A MINOR OR SPEAK TO THEM WITHOUT THEIR PARENTS APPROVAL AND THEIR OWN CONSENT! We will never be back to the JCPenney! I recommend you be very careful bringing your minor children to this location.

I am shy, socially awkward, and honestly dread getting my hair done because I'm not great at articulating what I want--that's on me. But the stylist repeatedly exclaimed my hair was "too long, too dry, and too tangly." Over and over and over. Loudly. It was utterly humiliating. I know my hair isn't in great shape--that's why I'm here. She said my hair was too long and too dry for highlights so I quickly scrapped color and asked for just a basic trim. It's way shorter than I wanted, despite my repeated requests not to make it too short. And now it's incredibly bushy and just a mess. I HATE my hair. Plus, she was very aggressive and very rough and hurt my neck while washing my hair. Seriously the worst experience I've ever had and I will never be back. I can't wait for it to grow back so I can go try somewhere else.

Worst experience ever, refused to do my hair because she didn't have enough time I wasn't asking for a miracle all I wanted was to be bleached to even out my hair I know it takes a couple of sessions to get what I wanted it's not my first time I've been bleaching my hair for 4 years now she was more worried about her vacation in two days then being at work wasted an hour and a half of my day I will never book at JCP again

I had Taylor do my hair styling and I was very pleased with her work and work ethic. She knows what she's doing and is knowledgeable about hairs and hair types and different hair concerns. She's a gem and has a pleasing personality. She will make sure to give you the look that you want.
