This place sucks, horrible customer service. I picked up a car in Reno, they gave me an electric vehicle because ‘that was all they had left’ when I had rented a gas powered vehicle. When I contacted Hertz customer service they instructed me to return the car to Roseville (the closest location to where I was staying). I did but the worker there refused to take my electric vehicle. Said he had 8 cars on hand but all were for rentals that he anticipated would be picked up later in the day. Said sorry- you’ll have to go to Sacramento.
I had to go charge my car for 50 more minutes and drive an hour round trip all because he wouldn’t stand behind the Hertz rental. First and probably last time renting from Hertz.

Easy, quick, and affordable rental - we ran into trouble with a different Hertz location so needed a same-day car. Not much variety but service was great and helpful.

I wish I had read all the bad the reviews of this place before renting one of their cars. They said they were giving me a discount because the tank wasn't full in the dirty car they were renting to me. Before I returned the car, I filled the gas tank a few minutes from this Hertz location and the gauge said full. A Hertz employee went out to inspect the car. He didn't move it. He came right back in, typed info into his computer and thanked me. I had to ask him for my receipt. He gave one to me and I left. After I flew back to my out-of-state home, I read it and it showed they charged me for 1/2 tank of gas and at twice the current price per gallon of gas! They put NO gas in the car before they printed out my receipt. They couldn't, even if they tried, because I returned the car with a full tank. I called them and they told me I had to have a receipt to prove I filled the tank. I didn't ask for a receipt when I bought the gas because I never expected Hertz to do something like this. I am a frequent out-of-state traveler and will never patronize Hertz again.

I have tried to call and talk to someone about an $80 charge on my rental. We returned the car with a little more gas than what we received it with and my insurance paid for rental. Unable to contact.

The Hertz in Roseville was great. The other companies that I tried to rent a car through with my geico.
Insurance basically was told a lie said they had no cars for me.
But when I talked to the Roseville customer service, it hertz
She said that they were just lying about it. They had cars. They just didn't want to deal with my insurance, which I feel is kind of s***** As if it wasn't bad enough, I had a car accident the day before.
They had to give me the runarounds and hassle me about running a car. With my insurance, my insurance company even called the company, to set up to rent a car. And then, when I called him back, they said they had no cars available for me and I had to call 4 other Hertz places that would not rent me a car. And finally got to the one in Roseville across the street from the Roseville Automall and they took care of me.
She was great. She was helpful.
She made it easy which after the accident and everything going on was extremely appreciative.

A dirty car was rented to me with a windshield littered with dried, smashed bugs. I had to use detergent and a sponge to remove them. Before returning the car, I filled its tank less than a mile away from their Roseville CA. return location. The employee at the Roseville Hertz got into the car and checked the gas gauge. He never moved the car. He came back inside. I watched him do all of this. He never said anything about it needing gas because it was full. I had just filled it. I was asked if I want a receipt. I said yes and got it before they tried to add any gas to the car. I didn't read the receipt until I was home, 185 miles later. They charged me $127.30 for 11.51 gallons of gas. They did this before ever trying to add any gas to the car. My receipt for the amount of gas I put in the car plus the amount of gas they lied about having to put in the car far exceeded the gas tank’s capacity. Now I have to send Hertz Corporate the receipt for the gas I filled the tank full with, in order to apply for a refund. Without a receipt, you don't get your money back. I have the receipt for the gas I put in the car, so I can prove that Roseville Hertz lied. NEVER, EVER rent a car from Hertz!

Anh made renting an amazing experience. Would definitely come back here to rent another vehicle. Best rental experience I’ve had in CALIFORNIA.

I called to ask a question about my receipt and certain rates between an "L" class and "Q4." Trying to understand why Q4 was more expensive than L-Class but I could not get the L-Class due to company policy due to debit cards was asinine to me but those are the rules, I guess. The best response I could get from, Anna, was "I don't ask questions." As a customer, that doesn't instill confidence that 1) I was properly taken care of and 2) that Hertz Employees care to even provide customer satisfaction. I will not be returning to this location and will actively steer others away from it as well.

I returned a car to this location. Despite filling it up with gas less than two miles from the location 5 minutes before dropping off, they charged me for an extra gallon of gas. I actually made sure that I added a little extra gas after the pump auto shutoff happened. The agent booked the car in as 100% full.
I received the charge email and receipt on my phone when I was standing in the parking lot beside the car waiting for my wife to pick me up. No one took the car or added gas before I received the receipt.
I asked Hertz customer service for a refund ($12.68/gal) but received a response telling me that they had to add 0.57 gallons of gas to fill the tank. I'm a Hertz gold customer (or was)

I can't remember the lady's name that helped me but she was amazing ! I was having the worst day of my life at Roseville kia after buying a nightmare there. They refused a loaner vehicle. I ended up at hertz. The lady asked how my day was going. I explained a little of my issue. She jumped in right away and took care of me. Hands down the best service I could ever ask for. We chatted a few minutes she gave me some great advice and I was on my way. When I returned the vehicle there was a gentleman I dealt with. He was great as well. I can't imagine bad service from this location!

The car was nice we had no problems. My only complaint is that Hertz charges an extra $10 on each $7 toll charge.

Not sure why these guys are not rated higher. I switched from the other rental company in the area and the wait time is significantly better. At this point, it no more than 5 minutes but usually closer to 30 seconds. I regularly grab a rental for a day for site visits and walk in, grab my keys and go. Car is ready and I already have the rental agreement online. This is becoming my go to place a rental. Friendly staff and easy process. My only complaint is each time I rental, I get 4 pages of rental stuff that I also received online. Let’s save some trees please Hertz. Other than that, Reggie and Carrie have both been great. Highly recommend this place!

The worst. Rented a Ford Transit last week, picked it up extremely dirty. Side doors wouldn’t close all the way so it beeped the entire time I had it. Tried to get the van traded out twice and they said that they didn’t have anything else. Just tried to switch it out to another vehicle and they tried to stick me into an electric. The representative was a complete jerk today as well. Will not be back. There are plenty of other options. I just jumped into a LYFT and went right down the street to Enterprise.
