I give 4 stars and I will state my reasons why. The review was originally going to be 5 stars based on performance customer satisfaction and work ethic.
I’m frugal. I shop in many locations. For many reasons. I like this store namely because of what I seen. And have seen in recent changes over the years. The store is clean. And when I say clean. It’s clean. Routinely. I see workers in there division doing there best to assist the comadre. I seen number of changes. And I will highlight. I have fun shopping at this location. I witness two cashiers helping me pack my items. Working together side by side. And covering there division. The young male manager on duty was transparent informed his team. To include they were all laughing and getting things done. The dedication to team work to include professional and authentic communication skills were indeed not what I expect of good will. I am skeptical about marketing however when it comes to diversity. They did it. Proved goodwill standards. And it’s refreshing. I came back a second time just to show my treasures off to the cashiers. Obviously I had to leave as the store became busy. I don’t mind. I understand workload I feel welcomed. It’s nice to see genuine and authenticity. I appreciate my fast service and care to check out. Or at least to be informed of official policy as I appreciate the consideration. And happy to support.
Good product reasonably priced. Fits my budget. Not what I expect to find.
Keep being the good in goodwill during this day and age and good luck to you guys.
Minus one star because high management should evaluate work performance. Possible bonus or promotions. Other than that it’s goodwill.

Wensday night managers rude and they charged 6.99 per costume jewlery earrings manager wouldn't give me time of day to communicate this with her to busy wanting to smoke a cigarette

I brought some beautiful glass Christmas trees and wreaths. They needed to be stood up so they wouldn't break but they just threw them in with everything else. This was on Sunrise in Roseville, CA.

This is a great large goodwill with new merchandise daily. The staff is unbelievable friendly and gives great customer service which is surprising Because the management there has always been rude to the staff and customers when I shop there. I shop approximately 4 to 5 days a week and you get to see and know the staff very well and see the management talking down to everyone. The staff is resilient and puts up the way they are treated. I don't get it and would never put up with that crap. REMEMBER, IF YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES, YOUR EMPLOYEES TAKE CARE OF YOU. It's not brain surgery. It's common sense. If management hates there jobs, well then get a new career

I called the day prior to drop off to make sure all the items that we had not taken to the dump would be taken. We arrived and two employees came out and were veryvrude saying they would not take more than half of the items. I asked for the manager and told him that I had even called the day prior. I showed him the call log from my phone. I also complained in particular regarding the female employee who stated that since the homeless shelter was close by that they ONLY took pristine items for the homeless as they need nice things. Um, that's what we were dropping off. I will no longer donate or shop at this location. I have also told several people about this experience, which is SO far from how I have been treated at other locations, and they have agreed to no longer give their business to this location. They can have all the homeless shop there, but my family and I will no longer be patrons of this store!

Line of people in their cars stretching throughout the parking lot and stopping traffic in nearly all 3 directions. All while a man who looks 65 unloads donations one at a time at a snails pace. They don't even let you load the donation cart yourself. I'll gladly toss my donations in the garbage right next to the donation site if this how they plan on doing things. If they want the donations that bad, they can go dumpster dive and waste their own time. A line would be understandable if the people couldn't load the cart of donations themselves and needed help. Would not recommend to anyone looking to donate. Find a friend who needs it or go to a local shelter. Goodwill literally proftis from your donations.

I came in here yesterday for the very first time I needed some new work uniforms and polo shirts are not easy to find and I didn't want to spend a fortune on uniforms when I first came in I noticed it was a large clean atmosphere very clean establishment I think some people think of good will as eew used clothes used items a lot of there items that they sell are like new I found some items that still had the tags on which I was very impressed with I ended up scoring a great deal on 3 polo tops it was $19.99 for 3 tops and at other stores it was that price for one so as you can imagine I was ver excited to score such amazing deal on 3 items I budget what I spend on clothes and other items the staff working was friendly and very helpful I mentioned to the employees how impressed I was with how well stocked the items where and how clean the establishment this is one of the cleaner good will I have ever been to over all my experience here was amazing and I scored some amazing deals I highly recommend this establishment for anyone they have a very wide selection of items not just clothing they have household items pet items and kid items they definitely have something here for everyone if you are on a budget this is definitely the place to shop I will definitely be coming back here again very soon for more future visits and more great experiences to come thank you goodwill on sunrise you guys are awesome keep up the great work thank you again

Every time I’ve come here the lines are long. Today really struck a nerve for me though. I went to buy a bread maker. It was listed as $25 but when you open it it’s grossly crusted with old caked on food and rusted. I asked the cashier if they would reduce the price (I was not 100% sure it was even salvageable) and she said, “We price things according to the condition they’re in” and “we don’t change prices at the counter” so I asked politely is there someone here else I can go to request this because $25 is a lot for this condition it’s in and the worked scoffed and called for a manager. The kicker is the manager only offered to take off $5 so I left. My standards aren’t very high and I’d consider myself kind and polite and I don’t really feel like this was an experience I deserved. Will not be going back here or supporting this good will and will be sharing my experience with this location to all my friends and family locally and on social media.
