I don't understand the negative ratings. I had two appointments in the last couple of weeks. Everything was great! Thanks to Kayla who was very friendly and super helpful. Great service ?

We've been with G1 for about 30 years. Never had any problems, financed many cars through them, always found their employees to be friendly and helpful. People whine about waiting/lines. Really? Everybody has lines. That's a fact. You really want bad all-around service? Deal with B of A or Wells. This branch does as well as anyone. It's some of the customers that bog things down. People are so stupid. They think everything revolves around them.

My wife and I stopped to deposit 3000.00 in the ATM to go into our SafeAmerica Checking account. The ATM took 2800.00 and left me with 2 one hundred dollar bills left. The depositor then went back into the machine and got stuck. I got my wife’s attention in the car and she went in and told a teller who said there was nothing they could do and offered my wife tweezers to try and retrieve the bills. By the time the manager came out the machine door closed and the screen said unable to process transaction and returned my card with NO receipt. The manager stated he was NEW and didn’t know what to do. I filed two claims with SafeAmerica who then filed claims with Golden One and they denied that either my or my wife’s card was used that day. They REFUSED to provide the security camera footage for 5/8/2024 which would 100% prove I put the 28 one hundred dollar bills in the depositor. I now have to get a lawyer to represent me and sue to get my 2800.00 back. I can’t believe this happening in this day and age of security camera footage.

Star rating matching average amount of tellers at a time. Why do they need 6 windows if they only have 2-3 people working?

This is the worst Golden 1 branch I have ever been too. There is never anyone to help, and when you do get helped you are met with extremely rude employees who I am amazed even have a job in customer service. Very unqualified individuals to be handling personal information like this. There are always long lines since they decided to close the Woodcreek oaks branch. My husband went in to open a business account and was asked to wait because there was someone in front of him. 45 min later a different lady comes out to tell him he will now need to make an appointment to do so because of how busy they are today and they can no longer assist him with opening a business account. Why wasn't something said when he initially told them why he was there. DO BETTER GOLDEN 1!! The 2.6 average rating speaks for itself. Do not go to this branch

The branch manager at this location needs to stop trying to play God and just release the funds to people who are regulars, it is completely unacceptable that on her lunch break my girlfriend who explained the situation in great detail and has cashed Many checks with this bank still can only be released $200 out of her $1400 check this is our rent money and our lives you are playing with. And yes you are playing with them. I know the Manager has the option to release all funds in emergencies which this was. Do better, We live in placer county not south sac…

After spending about 20min in a queue for turn to make cash withdrawal, I noticed I forgot my wallet but they will not serve me, even the manager was not helpful. What’s the point of taking the customer information, ID and signature and sometimes picture onto bank systems. Very poor customer, I wasted my lunch time.

I don’t understand why I would come in for an appointment, be given the wrong information that I needed to bring, and the person that I’m supposed to meet with (I am early) but she’s here and she said she’s scheduled for her break and she must take it before she can spend time with us. How professional is that. I will definitely be looking for a new bank/credit union to take my business .

The branch in Rancho Cordova is horrible!! No matter what time or day you visit the line is to the door. The tellers are very slow. They see 20+ people in line and they will ask you what are your plans today? Are you going on vacation? We have people waiting!!!

A few months back. I got in a car accident. The girl broke my car. I have two jobs and have great credit. All of my banking is with Golden 1. I was told I needed to have an $800 deposit to get a loan.Or a cosigner. LOL my car guy got me a loan from another Credit Union great rate didn't have to pay for a month, no deposit and no cosigner:-) I was getting invites for Golden 12 re-assign my loan to Golden 1. The rates were high. I went in and spoke with Armine Hovhannison member services specialist. And she agreed for me to stay with the loan that I have.. I love my golden one for so many reasons. Help me live my life. Financially speaking.... I felt as if my golden one let me down.. this gal renewed me to think I should stay with you... thank you a r m i n e
