I am so thankful for Brenda at California Renovations. I had hired a contractor for a multi-phase renovation at my home. After purchasing the necessary materials, he flaked. I was stuck with a garage stall filled with materials.I called California Renovations to see if they could complete the job.Brenda said she would work with me. Her crew has been amazing. They are polite, thorough, competent, and clean up after themselves. Brenda has been there throughout the process with clear communications and quick responses.Phase 1 has been completed to excellent standards. Phase 2 begins next week and Phase 3 a few weeks after that.I would highly recommend Brenda and her team.

These guys just finished our flooring and stairs. We had expected them to simply show up and start laying flooring. That didn't happen.... Instead, they spent several hours grinding, sanding, and leveling the floors, before they ever laid a single piece of flooring. We didn't fully appreciate their efforts until we saw the finished product. Their professionalism and attention to detail makes all of the difference in the world! I can't recommend them highly enough to honor their tremendous efforts and craftsmanship. Call and ask for Kevin, he'll take it from there. Trust him, and when they're done, post here to thank me for the recommendation! You won't be sorry! Thank you Kevin, and please express our appreciation to your hardworking, craftsmen! What a great experience! i own a quite a few rental properties and through the years i've had to revamp and remodel. by far this was one of my best experiences. from the time i met Neva i knew this would be different. she is professional and no no no nonsense yet took the time to listen and address my needs. it was a simple job yet it was done simply perfect. i don't give reviews usually but had to make an exception this time.

This review is long overdue because I originally left it on the wrong Yelp page. My floors were installed in 8/2020. Rob took great care to help me select the flooring of my dreams to replace the 16-year-old wall-to-wall carpeting in my 1500 sq ft home. Even though I ghosted him at first, when I came back months later, he welcomed me and treated me like royalty. He worked within my budget and even found a less costly product from a different manufacturer that was similar to my preferred color and style. I knew I wanted LVP, I knew I wanted it to be white, and I knew I wanted it to be beveled. Turns out, that's a tall order; not to be found just anywhere. I'm very happy with the product I chose and even happier with Rob's customer service. He stayed in touch every step of the way, promptly replied to every email and text, and was committed to helping me get the look I wanted. He's very knowledgeable about the products he sells and had an answer for every question I had - there were a lot of them! Since I was getting the whole house done, I was concerned about how long I would be without a bed. Rob chose Arturo and his team and assured me they would come in and knock it out in no time. He and Arturo came to my house a few days before the install date and made a plan for the install that began on Monday, 8/24. I was relieved to hear that they could do my bedroom last and that I could leave my bed until the morning of that last day, probably Wednesday. Holy crap y'all! Arturo brought four workers on Monday at 8AM and told me they could probably get to my bedroom that day! Since I had been painting non-stop for several days, I was out of energy and strength and there was no way I could have moved everything out of my room that day. No problem! The crew was amazing. Like a well-oiled machine, they worked together and, even though I was curious and chatty, they stayed out of MY way, haha. I was treated like the queen of my castle, all of my questions were answered cheerfully. I have a few pieces of furniture that are too heavy for me to move, even with help, and I happily paid a modest fee for the crew to move those items. My grandson's bed, my sectional couch, and a huge bookcase were carefully moved out of the way then back during the install. Arturo was very accommodating and super respectful. One of my walls was curved and I didn't like how the wall base joint didn't match up. No problem! It was fixed with a smile. The person tasked with painting all the wall base talked to me before and warned me that, even though they would put down a tarp on my front lawn, there would probably be some overspray...was that ok? No problem! On Monday night, I moved all my crap out of my bedroom through the sliding glass door, onto the back patio. When the crew arrived Tuesday morning, I hadn't yet gotten around to moving my bed outside. No problem! They moved the bed back and forth instead which was great because I hadn't thought about what to do with my cranky, elderly miniature dachshund. Since my grandson's room was the only other room that still had a bed in it, I asked if they could finish that room first so I could put her in there and close the door. No problem! The person who cut all the LVP on my back patio was dodging all my crap on the patio (why didn't I realize they'd need to go to the backyard through my slider?) and when I finally moved some stuff to make a more manageable path and apologized, he replied, "No problem!" Since the LVP didn't take as much vertical space as the carpet and padding, the door trim didn't meet the floor and I asked Arturo if that was something they would take care of. No problem! Although I don't think it's standard, he got someone on it right away. They removed an old toilet and replaced it with a new toilet and found that my flange lacked bolts (wow!). No problem! Fixed in a jiffy! Even with all of my diva-requests, my house was totally complete by 5PM on Tuesday! Arturo's crew was careful in my home

Jon Simas was totally accommodating in providing a timely carpet estimate for our family condo that we were putting on the market. Timing is everything and he followed through quickly with providing samples and replying to every inquiry. So refreshing to find this level of service!!

We had a great experience picking our new flooring for our downstairs with Gina. She was professional and extremely helpful because of her knowledge of the products. They hire the worst installers. Totally ruined my wood floor. Lint and hair under the floor sealant. The floor has loose boards they refuse to fix anything. Tony the guy who represents them wouldn't take his sneakers off when he walked on my flooring. His sneakers squeaked so much it covered the sound of the loose boards creaking. They gouged my stair stringers and landing with their sander and refused to fix it. They simply suck and refuse to admit they suck. I would never use these clowns again. My floor is uneven now and it sucks to walk on.

It was a real pleasure working with California Renovation on our 1200 ft2 project . With the expertise and knowledge that Jim Parker shared with us, we decided on waterproof vinyl plank flooring. He was very thorough on giving us the facts on what to expect and on how the project would go. The crew of Alfonso, Arturo and everyone else did a fantastic job. Our floors look beautiful and I would definitely recommend Jim and California Renovation for your project!
