I bought a "certified" used 2019 I3 BMW. Roseville did the absolute minimum in getting this car "certified." 2,500 miles after getting the car it required a service, $1650 at the local BMW dealer. Now, after only 4,000 miles the car needs new tires and because only Bridgestone makes them, they're over $300 each. So the car cost me almost $3,000 more than I thought it would when buying a "certified" car.And as an FYI: When you buy a certified Audi, all this is already taken care of. Roseville had options and they chose to do it in the cheapest way possible, and passed on to me very high additional expenses.Buy elsewhere.

Do not go here for service. It is a scam. Bought pre-owned bmw elsewhere. Year 1: called service department and scheduled oil change. Walk in the door and am told I need a whole bunch of other stuff, without them checking out the car. I went along and I am too embarrassed to say how much I paid in total but it was way over $1000, closer to $2,000. Year 2: called service department and asked to speak to a service manager to get the estimate and list before I walked in. Left 8 messages over a 2 month period and never got a call back. But I got annoying phone calls from people who just wanted me to schedule without that info. Finally drove a little farther to Niello in Sacramento - totally different experience and they even showed me where the car tells me what it needs so I won't get scammed again. They only get 1 star because I can't leave 0.

Long story short they did not want to honor the warranty on my newly replaced OEM battery and made up so many excuses. Ultimately blamed it on me because I supposedly left a light turned on which was complete nonsense. The battery never died on me but a discharge message keeps popping up.Never coming back here. It is straight up robbery. Oh by the way, they also recommended a software update for $250. Seriously? People pay extra money for that warranty but still get screwed over.Oh and thanks Laura for telling me all this after you guys kept my car hostaged for 2 days. I could have gone elsewhere in that timeframe. They finished inspecting the car the same day but didn't bother to call me for an update and instead kept the car overnight.

I'd like to extend a hearty commendation to the service manager, Nick, for ensuring that I never have to set foot in BMW Roseville again. I initially visited the dealership with the intention of trading in my car and placing an order for a new vehicle through the sales department, which clearly understands the essence of customer service. However, before transitioning to the sales floor, I stopped by the service department to schedule a service appointment due to an issue I was experiencing with my car--specifically, vibrations from the steering wheel at highway speeds. I was blown away when I was informed there would be a $250 diagnostic charge to find out what is wrong with my car. One might wonder why I was so surprised, but allow me to share some pertinent facts:- I have owned the car for less than 10 months.- The vehicle has accumulated fewer than 5,000 miles.- The car had been in the dealership's service department less than 200 miles before this issue arose.- During the prior service visit, I was advised that the rack and pinion needed replacement, but the dealership couldn't provide a loaner car, suggesting I rent one from Enterprise. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with this solution, as Enterprise wouldn't provide a comparable car, they abruptly shifted their stance and claimed that fixing the brakes would resolve the issue. As a BMW enthusiast who has consistently had one or two BMWs in my household, I want to make it abundantly clear that you have lost me as a customer. I prefer to patronize establishments that value and comprehend the true essence of customer service.

This is the worst BMW dealership I have ever been to. I have purchased multiple BMWs. However, when it comes to purchasing, I can never bring myself to purchase here I never get the right price, or find the right color, etc.... I often do servicing here and the process and service management (Nick Gilliland) are not customer friendly. I was told there would be a $225 fee to program my key fob, which was ordered by BMW because they could not find both keys at the time of purchase. I was told by the purchasing dealership that any autonation BMW could program it in about 60sec for free. Nick let me know that they would charge me $225 if I didn't get authorization from the other dealership, which makes no sense. I contacted the other dealership and they informed me that is not the case, there is no fee associated and it's more than likely and issue of them not wanted to do it because I purchased it from another BMW dealership. Nick made no attempt to contact BMW of Fremont (purchasing dealership) no help no recourse, nothing. I wanted I few minutes to be helped initially because the service department person was on her phone, not one asked if I had been helped or anything....no help at all I had to ask the young lady who was working the counter, ironically it was her.. I am sure their Sales Department function much better. The service manager Nick needs help with management skills... I can help you bro! 2013 740I2022 I42023 740i

Dealerships already have a terrible rep as a greedy money grab. BMW of Roseville proves it. I've been here twice and each time had some sort of scare tactic on my car that was completely unfounded. The first time was a couple months ago for a normal oil change. They handed me estimates of over $2,000 in repairs and all brand new tire recommendations. When it came to the tires, he told me "you can get pulled over on the freeway with this tread". I took it for review at my standard mechanic, who said none of what they stated needed to be done. This morning, I had a coolant top off message. My car is almost 10 years old, and I've had this come up a few times. I frequent East Bay BMW, but since I was on my way home to the bay, I stopped by. No one was to be found at the service drop off. I did ask someone coming out if it's possible to do a coolant top off. He stated it needed to be checked in, a diagnostic ran to test the pressure before they can do anything. Oh, and the wait is 2 and half hours. My car is literally telling you, top off with coolant but you want to run a costly diagnostic to simply add more coolant? You said "we were burned by a customer, so we can't break the rules". There are key readers that notate all error messages that have appeared. I went to Niello BMW and had zero issues to get my coolant topped off.

Had a great experience with Rocky the service adviser. He communicated my 328 issues quickly, and the car was fixed the same day. Thank you, i will be back!

I visited the service center today to program my car key, which I had purchased from BMW of San Francisco. They informed me that I needed to bring my car in for half a day and the other key for them to program it, and it would cost $258. I called BMW of SF, and they advised me that I could program it myself. I watched a YouTube video, and it was programmed in less than a minute. I couldn't believe that they would charge such a high fee and require me to leave my car with them for half a day for what turned out to be such a simple process. It felt like they were trying to make it seem more complicated than it actually is. Here is the link to the video for future customers to share: youtube.com/watch?v=zFrZ…

THE WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I have two BMW's and Nick, the service manager and the rest of the service department continue to drop the ball. I have a brand new X5M, as well as an older 328d. My last visit to the service department they damaged my brand new X5M on their service rack, and although they admitted responsibility fought me on repairing the vehicle and tried to provide me the new parts rather than installing the factory they had damaged. This visit, when I have had a loaner vehicle scheduled for over a week, due to a check engine light they cancelled today with no ETA on having one available. If you are somewhat close to any other BMW dealership I would highly suggest going there.

BMW of Roseville's service department is top-notch, and Jeff, my service advisor, deserves five stars. His expertise and professionalism made my experience exceptional. I highly recommend them.

Each time we have taken our X5 in for service Chris has taken care of us. He is great at explaining everything in detail and has our car done on time as promised. We enjoy working with him. Service tech always takes a short video on what they found good or bad. I would not hesitate to keep brining our vehicle here for service.

Had a great experience purchasing a trade-in Audi. Peter Storm was friendly and attentive, and the finance guy went above and beyond to get us a great rate! I would choose BMW of Roseville again for sure. ?
