The doctor and staff were perfectly considerate of our needs. Services were executed in the kindest, caring, and compassionate way possible. The clinic appears clean and well maintained. It was as good as possible.

Worst clinic ever. All they care about is scamming you for the money. I called a week in advance to see if they have the RHDV2 vaccine for rabbits and was told by them that they do and they set me up with an appointment for it. They also told me that my rabbit would have to do a wellness exam due to being a new patient which costs $100.00 before he can get the vaccine which costs another $40-$50. Which is fine. They also had me do a $50.00 deposit first. The night before the appointment, they called to confirm that I was going to come for sure. And I told them that I'm coming for the vaccine and I asked again whether they have it or not and they said "yes". I showed up for the appointment and they told me that they don't have the vaccine and that I should do the wellness exam and pay first then come back a few days later to get the vaccine. I drove 35 miles to this clinic and this is how they would treat customers. I asked for the reimbursement of the $50.00, they told me that they would make an exceptional this time, making it sound like it's my fault. Very rude and unprofessional. I would advise if anyone cares about their pets, please think dearly before taking them to this clinic.

This was one of the 2 clinics that we were recommended by GX3 Reptiles to bring our sick tortoise here. The first one we called was booked till February but we were so glad that this one was open. We were able to bring our tortoise on the same day we called to get it checked. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. We were quickly helped. I feel that they are knowledgeable about their reptiles. I forgot the vet tech's and vet's name but they both was very informative. Our tortoise was prescribed antibiotics so hopefully we'll see good results in 7-10 days.

I had an emergency visit on the 13th with my 8 year old cockatiel here because she was dying (she wasnt talking at all, fell out of her cage, and stayed on the ground leaning against the back of my recliner, when i picked her up, she was lightweight, fluffy and kept closing her eyes. I had never seen her like this in the 8 years that I've had her and I noticed her droplings were black and brown, which i was concerned about because when I took her to her dr appointment with dr Pita on december 4th, they were trying to get me to pay $450 to give her new food, new meds, and run some tests. Obviously i didn't have that money so dr Pita just recommended that i start giving her pellets because she was on a seed diet. About a week into the pellet and seed diet, her droppings started turning black with brown urinate. At first i was concerned but i looked it online, it said that it was normal if they were changing to a pellet diet, so i didnt do anything but kept an eye on her. She was always talkative and active but this time was different.) Come the 13th, I got home from a trip around 3PM and she chirps whenever she hears my car alarm but this time she didnt. I got in my house, greeted her and opened her door then flopped on my bed. She didnt chirp, she didnt make a sound, and i turned around to look for her but i couldn't find her. I looked on the ground with my flashlight and she was fluffed up leaning against the back of my recliner. I called her name and she was silent but shallowly breathing. I panicked and ran to my mom, who ended up calling this clinic. The lady that picked up (i think Diane?) said that she had to check for availability and put us on hold. She came back and said she could squeeze us in for $250. My mom was infuriated but we did it. We rushed her there and i had her wrapped in a towel. She was cold and unstable. We got there and a tall, lean lady with glasses? helped me and gave her to a tech, we waited before talking to the doctor about everything that was going on and the doctor was giving us options and stuff in case things fell through, so as we were about to leave, I remembered to get her towel and I went back there and the pregnant receptionist with the glasses told me that her towel was in the back with her so I had assumed that it was next to her outside the incubator. I get a call the next morning, from Dr. Anger and was told that my Bird had passed away overnight. Dr anger said she was about to put her back in the incubator and she had a seizure, so they tried to give her antibiotics but her body was too weak. Me and my mom went there and we talked with dr anger again about what had happened with my Bird and everything,, so we had did the paperwork and stuff then as I was about to leave, I remembered again to get her towel. I went back to the pregnant receptionist with glasses to ask for her towel a second time, she said that it was being washed and that it would be ready for me when I came back for her ashes. Come the 26th, I find out from my mom that these people couldn't find her towel, so I went up there myself and I asked them "what's going on why can't you guys find her towel," like I understand that it's just a towel, but this is one of the last things that I had of my Bird when she was alive, she was dying in my arms in this towel, that is why I am very crucial about getting it back and these people are telling me that they don't have my towel, I just wanna know why when I asked for her towel the first time nobody bothered to go back and get it? then the second time I was told it was being washed? I don't care if it's dirty, if I'm asking for her towel back I want it back, my bird was in that towel, slowly dying, taking her last breaths and seeing me for the last time in her life before passing that night, I want this towel back because it is one of the last things that I can remember of her being alive in and y'all are telling me y'all can't find it. So when i talked to them, i think it was Angel or somethin

I took my bunny here for his checkup. I tried calling several other vets. My regular vet was booked out months. Most only offered nail trimming. I was so happy when I found this place for my "exotic" pet. The staff was very nice. I felt anxious about taking my bunny to a new vet. Bunny was pretty calm which put me at ease. Everyone was so helpful and informative. Thank you Bird and Pet clinic for being so friendly and caring. I will keep taking him here. Thank you again for the excellent care! Bunny thanks you too! Sono felice!

This place is horrible and only cares about money. They can never keep an appointment on time either. I've been going for 15 years and hate it. Why can't the west side of roseville get a decent vet. Do not go here and do not support them.

My bearded dragon died and they were so nice and I immediately knew he was in good hands. Most traumatic experience and they eased its gracefully. Shout out to the morning workers!

I have been taking my animals to this clinic for several years, and over the years their service quality has declined. Recently I have taken my female dog approximately one year old to this clinic, where she was prescribed flea medication and given a 1 year prescription. After approximately 3 days, my wife had called the clinic to have this prescription filled , which was denied due to them wanting a 1 mo th follow up appointment. This follow up appointment would have been highly unnecessary due to the fact that we had already brought our dog in within 3 to 5 days of the prescription being written. Now we have taken our female dog back again she's a little over a year old, and has a allergy rash and according to the doctor, has also a skin infection of some sort. We received a phone call from this office alert enough to pick up medication for my dog,. After we contacted the office, we were told the doctor was not in, which was a lie due to the fact that she was performing surgeries and other miscellaneous tasks that day, but did not note in my dog's file which medications she would need or were recommended. It has now been almost a week of me calling back-and-forth to this office trying to get medication for my dog, which I still I'm not able to obtain due to this doctor For some reason not taking calls or not leaving notes in my dog's file. I would highly recommend taking your animal dog cat bird whichever, to another reputable veterinary hospital or clinic.

I won't go into detail about their lack of knowledge and expertise in dealing with my sick canary. A serious infection had caused his leg to swell and the metal leg band was cutting through the skin creating an even more severe problem. The swelling was making it impossible for him to stand or perch on it. I followed their instructions, bathing and medicating his foot daily but in the following weeks the swelling only grew worse. Looking for a second opinion I found an 'avian specialty' practice in Sacramento. The doctor immediately diagnosed the problem; leg band must come off IMMEDIATELY if the bird was to survive. I won't bother to elaborate the many other reasons why I would not, in good conscious, recommend The Bird and Pet Clinic to anyone needing specialty avian care or advice for their pet.

The vet techs here are absolutely AMAZING. There is a male tech who I have seen the past 2 times I've went and he is just the best! You can tell that everyone who works here absolutely loves animals. They are so knowledgeable, they always work with your budget, and they are so so kind! I've only met the vet once but she was very kind and I would recommend her, Dr. Angar, to anyone. They are gentle and reassuring to you and your pets but also explain things in a way that you understand.

There were zero threats of violence except from YOUR STAFF toward MY PET in refusing to DO THEIR JOB. Your awful staff and their lack of professionalism is the reason we chose to leave your practice. Though your very unthoughtful letter "releasing us" as clients is LAUGHABLE considering the day of the incident you were very happy to accept my money. Your staff is responsible for our desire to NEVER step foot in your clinic again. There is ZERO compassion for children and their grieving pets from anyone on your staff and your lack of operational procedures to ensure task completion is poor. I will advocate for any vet but this one. You truly have horrible patient care.

Thank you Bird and Pet Clinic of Roseville I am now $1200+ lighter and have a dead bird who was healthy other than an injured wing. Perhaps when you have a surgery outcome where the animal doesn't make it the first words out of your mouth shouldn't be "well, the surgery went well." Obviously if my pet is deceased it didn't go well, now did it? I'm not sure how in good conscious you can charge full price for a "successful" surgery where you lost the patient. What is your motivation to actually save a patient? You're going to get paid the same either way, right? When I came in to get my Cockatiel looked at, I actually felt like I was buying a vehicle, I can't believe all the crap that was pushed onto me and then to end up just having my bird die. This quote that quote $300.00 just for a flipping x-ray? I mean seriously. They even took my bird to the back to examine like they were holding her hostage while they brought me "quotes" to see what they could milk me for. Also, we called because we thought we were going to be a few minutes late and the lady in the office indicated there would be a charge for over 10min late. Ok, so when we were waiting past our appointment time where was our compensation for waiting on you to service us? It was well over 10min we waited to get into a room. I get that this is a business and they need to pay their rent and staff but have some human decency. It's funny that on my final invoice I'm being charged the same amount for antibiotics for a bird I would be taking home alive as the bird I'm taking home dead. Just squeeze every penny out they can... I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy, just a bad vibe all together. Obviously I won't be back, I'll have to find a avian vet that will work to save animals instead of worrying about how much they can get out of their client. Wow wish I would have read some yelp reviews before taking my bird here, maybe she would still be with me.

I have been bringing my bird here since 2018/19. I get the best service. I had a stray cat that was buddies with a stray cat that I adopted when I moved here in 2018. This particular cat only let me start petting him within the past year as it was physically sick and finally came in my house the last 2 - 3 weeks of its life. The cat that I adopted had that cat virus and died in 2020. Devastating! I got a new vet (Dr. Youngblood) so after bringing my bird in decided to bring this cat in to see her. I knew in my heart is was too late so it had to be euthanized. Dr. Youngblood is such a fantastic doctor and she was so compassionate in going through this process. I loved this cat even though he wasn't my cat. I just detest people who do not take care of their pets and this eventually happens. I'm just happy this cat got treated royally when he was with me. Always by my side. He absolutely loved his heating pad and room and had absolutely no desire to return to the outside, plus he had some prime rib Christmas Eve. He loved to eat even though he was sick. Thank you Dr. Youngblood and the staff who are efficient and compassionate. I have to say that Dr. Youngblood is my favorite vet ever. In addition, the bill was a lot less than I had anticipated.

My bird has been a patient here for over a year since I moved to Roseville. The option of doing curbside pick-up and going inside with your pet(s) makes no sense. The last two times I have been in, they took my bird to the back room to do her beak and nail trimmings and then they come back to tell me they cut her nails too short, so she was bleeding and to watch for infections. The last visit was the most horrific MALPRACTICE I have ever seen. What is the point of scheduling an appointment ahead of time and having to wait two weeks for them to not listen. My bird is full flight and has been for the last 20 years, I have only taken her to get her beak and nail trimmings and she typically sees the same vet and to find out they cilpped her wings this time. For what reason? I always make sure to tell them, no wings and that she is full flight. The vet put the blame on the technician and then on top of that they wanted to bill me, unbelievable. This is a terrible clinic, for the safety of your pets, please seek another clinic.
