All staff is great here and I got to work with Robert who was very transparent, informative and gave me confidence that my car was in good hands. “We've had a myriad of issues with our older Toyota RAV4 SUV that's been otherwise amazing and reliable until a few months ago. A friend referred me to GM Specialities and spoke highly of their customer service, great craftsmanship, honesty, integrity, knowledge, and efficiency.
I didn't hesitate to call and had the pleasure of speaking to their general manager, KC. He was every bit as amazing as I've heard.
Unlike other shops that have little to no customer service and want to get you in for a diagnostic appointment at any cost, he was gracious and kind enough to educate me on potentially preventing further damage to the vehicle. While we were hoping it was salvageable, I didn't want to do anything to possibly worsen the situation. Our car has been golden until the alternator, battery, and radiator went out back to back. We did a slightly overdue tuneup and replaced the ignition coils and spark plugs. Unfortunately, it's had a misfire issue we couldn't get to the bottom of. He instructed me to have it towed to the shop and not to drive it as we could potentially ruin the catalytic converter or engine.
KC was able to get us in for an appointment the following day, and their diagnostic estimate pricing is far better than any dealer, and they do a much better job.
Unfortunately, a blown head gasket was our fate, but I'm glad we finally have concrete answers so my family can move on and purchase another reliable and safe vehicle that we'll love and make memories with.
It's clear the shop employees are well educated and taken care of, and I wouldn't hesitate to bring our other vehicle in any time. Great, reliable mechanics have become more and more difficult to find these days. Have faith and trust they'll do great quality, honest work, and do you right.
Remember at the end of the day, life happens, and while some things are outside of our control, your best bet is to always stay on top of routine car maintenance to ensure the maximum life and safety of your vehicle. Routine oil changes and scheduled maintenance are easily forgotten, but your car and checkbook will thank you later!”
“I was going to go to another body shop and after 2 body shop appointments and some frustration a friend referred me to J&J. I'm so glad I held out when I wasn't comfortable because J&J was the right choice! I am very particular and my car is absolutely beautifully done and detailed. Normally I do my own work, but due to a motorcycle accident I was unable to, I no longer plan on doing any of the work myself with how affordable this shop is!!!”

“If you lift your Sierra or Silverado it’s difficult to find the right offset rim and tire combo to fit just right, mine were a tiny bit too big and they rubbed the wheel well a bit. I wanted the biggest tires possible so I went home to do some trimming and modified the wheel well, they still rubbed. Even tho I drove on the tires I came back the following week and asked if they would exchange them for smaller tires. They exchanged them no problem! Most shops won’t do that after you drive off. Take your truck to Redline Tires ?”

“It's not very easy to find a car repair place you can trust to be fair and honest. Especially if you are a single woman. I have found that with Scott the 2 times I have taken my vehicle in. The first time he replaced a fuel line and saved me almost $1000. He took the time to explain to me how with the other quote I got, I was being double charged for labor. The second time I had a very simple problem with my brake lights. He had the part and it only took a few minutes to fix so he didn't even charge me! He could've charged me at least the $150 to determine the issue, plus an hour labor charge, and for the part. To me that shows he is honest and not trying to take advantage. He has earned my trust and I'll definitely go back and refer him.”
