I came in with my Tesla model 3. I have been a customer of this company for 25 years .. I came in because there was a bulge in the sidewall of one of my tires. I had them swap out one of my tires and the moment I drove away the area where they worked on it now squeaks loudly. I brought it back and then they said they could not find anything wrong with it. It didn't sound like that until they touched it .. they literally told me to take it to Tesla and said it was something I must have done to it .. worst experience ever!!!

Incredible team. Very good at what they do. Let me paint a picture. I made an appointment at 5:15pm. My car was finished with new rims and tires mounted balanced in 30 min. From opening the boxes to removing the old rims etc. Incredibly fast, polite and professional. Highly recommend!

I went in to have my tire sensors replaced and it turns out there was a bad tire. We were not in a position to pay to have the tire replaced at that moment and had to tell them we would just pick the car up. Upon arrival, Austin informed me that he put a tire on there for me to use until we figured out what we were doing with the car so we were safe to drive at least. I am 8 months pregnant and had my 16 month old with me, and it was very sweet and touching that his biggest concern was our safety. We have always been customers at America's tires, and will continue to be for years to come. I really appreciate everything Austin. Thank you!!!

UPDATE 8/10/24: My tires were over inflated, and road noise is louder. When my hubby called American tire Ty answered(he was the original person who said my tires couldn't be rotated) he transferred my hubby to someone else who was very short and stated that he can't find any information on my tires being rotated and abruptly discontinued the call. When my hubby called back to get his name Andrew (he is the one who told me they would rotate my tires) got on the phone and was very pleasant but would not provide the name of his rude co worker. Andrew had my account up already and is requesting that I bring my car back in on Monday to check the tires and to figure out the noise. To be honest, after everything, I am a little nervous that they might do something to my car or tires.
I do know there are a lot of people that love American tire(we are ones who love them too), but how many were told they had to replace their tires and didn't need to?? I wonder how often this happens and how many people get retaliated against because they stood up for themselves, or did they just replace the tires??

Tires are in great condition, reading front at 4/32 and rear at 5/32. They will not do a tire rotation because they are saying it is unsafe because of my front tires being at 4/32. My tires have not even hit the warranty milage either.
Les swab states they will rotate my tires if they deem them in great condition at 4/32.
Is anyone else finding that American tire co. is trying to sell tires if not needed??
We have been with American tire for over 20yrs and have never had an issue.
Please advise your experience with American tire and other tire companies.
Update: My tires were bought 2022. I called the regional office in Folsom, and she seemed confused as to why they wouldn't rotate my tires as well. We love American tire and didn't want to go somewhere else. They did come back after checking my tread again with a different reading of 3/32 and agreed to rotate them. However, they didn't show me the new reading, which they did show me the initial. So, I'm not sure, but tires got rotated. ?

Great experience here with Cyprian. Was driving my porsche Boxster across America and back to Canada. Had wheel balance issue and Cyprian got me in quickly without an appointment. Both very friendly and professional. Answered my questions in detail and even showed me his computer system which suggested exact proper torque specs for a 2006 boxster S

Terrible experience. Called in to replace one damaged tire. Was told by Store Manager to come in right away and he’ll get me in and out real fast as I have limited in time today. Further, hr confirmed the tire I need was in stock. Excited, I jumped in car, get there quickly just to learn that my tire was NOT in stock and the weight would be 1.5-2 hours for a different alternate tire. My tire being damaged, so I did not have the luxury of going anywhere else and so now stuck with having to take another tire. $280 later- and now sitting here for nearly 90 mins and they have not even looked at my car. Tech just came out looking for my wheel lock - which I gave to the tech when I checked in. They can’t find it and the service tech is on lunch. You have to be kidding me!??! Tech comes up says car is ready so I walk outside only to see my car is still elevated. ??♂️ Still waiting. It has now been 2 hrs. So much for in and out real fast. Never again!! This Rocklin branch lead by their Manager Austin is a joke. Stay away!

The only reason why I gave even a star is because the guy that helped me in the first place was really nice but management is rude and pushy. They were also being really rude to the guy that was helping me twice right in front of me. I went this morning for a fat screw in my tire and I know I needed to replace all my tires but that’s not what I was there for, but they continue to push replacing all of them. I’m sure because they work off commission but I’ve repeatedly said no and they were very snooty and I had a baby with me, because it was unexpected I didn’t think I was going to have to be there to get my tire fixed, but these people need to learn more patience and understanding. $500 is unrealistic for my family at the moment. I was going to replace two with the first guy who was nice but I decided to go to bobs tires on auburn. Way nicer!

I had a free AAA tow to this place for a low tire pressure warning. They accepted my vehicle and inspected the tires. They gave me a quote for the tire sensors around $400 and assured me the sensors and not tires were malfunctioning. I decided not to fix, and they didn't charge me anything for inspection. I even offered $50 for their trouble. I spent $0 when so many companies try to charge just for looking. Five stars.

So i was recommended by a friend to try this tire store. It was super busy and thought i should have made an appointment but went inside to see if they could help me. The gentleman that helped us said the computer puts us out the door in 3.5 hours but we were the next car in line so it wouldn't take that long. 20 minutes later they were done! To my surprise they fixed my valve stem at no charge!! What? Yes no charge.
When we need tires this is my new go-to spot! I was thrilled with the customer service and cleanliness of the shop. They go over and beyond to make sure their customers are happy! Thanks again for the great service! We will tell our friends and be back when the time comes.

Absolutely amazing! Its so hard to find a local shop that will one, work on our Hummer H2, two, have same day service, three have the tire size we need. They did all three, and went above and beyond for us. We were in and out and back to our errands before 1:30pm! This is our new go to place, thank you so much! Highly recommend!!
