I absolutely love 9Round. John and Lilly are amazing. As for the trainers, I appreciate that they actually notice when we need to be corrected to avoid injuries, it shows they are watching and paying attention. Not only that but they make the workouts fun but challenging. I love my 9Round family

I have been a member at 9Round for years, and I love it here! The owners are the nicest family, and they truly care about helping you achieve your goals. The workout is fast, challenging, and easy to pick up even if boxing is new to you. Their schedule is convenient, and there are no specific class times so you can show up whenever and get started! I highly recommend it to everyone!

You shouldn't deal with them. I was deceived here. They said that there would be personal training with a professional trainer. They said that the cost per month would be 137 dollars and the first training was supposedly free. But they charged my card $257 for the first month. The training turned out to be group training. The trainers turned out to be not professionals. The training began without warming up and this is very traumatic. After half an hour they literally push you out of the gym. In the first month I declared that I would not go there anymore. But they charged my card $157 for the second month. Disgusting place with freak trainers.

I really enjoyed this work out. You basically have 30 minutes to run through the entire routine, but there's no limit as to how many times you can run through it.They are very personal and really push you as you're going through the class! I really love the instructors and I'm looking forward to going back! Amazing work out for coordination, endurance, and strength.

Do Not Sign a Contract with them. My first day there they told me it’s one on one training which I really wanted. The owner Lilly made it sound like all the coaches are focused on each and every person which was a lie. I stared going in and their staff was never helpful maybe except for one coach. Then you can’t even stick with one coach because they don’t have a fixed schedule. I asked to cancel the membership and they threatened me saying they are going to send it to collections. Horrible experience with the manager. I have been paying for a year and haven’t gone in now I’ve been calling them to make sure they don’t renew and no one knows how to cancel I’ve called and emailed but getting in touch with the owner is like impossible. She called me back once during my work hours and since then I’ve been trying to just get in touch with them so at least I can cancel it. There is way better gyms out there DO NOT GO HERE.

Love the atmosphere and staff! they encourage you to work hard and provide an excellent work out. Great for all levels of kickboxing knowledge from beginners to those who have experience.

I love this place ! I can do a complete, fun, different workout every day and I can go at any time! there is a super nice vibe in that place, I think I know all the trainers and I can say that they are all very attentive! after only 1 month, I feel much happier, joyful, strong! really not only modifies your body but your mind!

I was a member of this gym and had a medical condition. They gladly froze my account for a couple of months but I then told them I needed to cancel because my condition still existed. They ignored my request and simply started charging my account again without my consent. They continue to have their employees and their debt collectors call me when I disputed the charges with my credit card company. The owner told me there was nothing they could do about it except to send them my new bank account information which I refuse to do. Her manager contacted me and when I told him my situation and he told me to simply send them a note for my doctor if they can provide it. so I did, and they said they would continue to freeze it but not cancel my membership because it sounded temporary. I told them it was not I N that I cannot continue to do kickboxing. So I then had my doctor clarify the note and this time the owner told me They cannot except my doctors note. Which made no sense if they accept it and acknowledge the first one. I told them I needed to cancel and that they were harassing me with all of their phone calls. The owner said she wasn't in touch attempting to pressure me to continue my membership but she did ask me to sign a new contract that is month-to-month. It makes no sense for me to give them additional bank account information or sign another contract. I am very disappointed as I enjoyed going to this gem and I did like the owner but after this experience I cannot recommend this gym to anyone. I've never had to cancel a gym membership and have a legitimate medical condition. I had fully intended to continue working out long-term but when you cannot and your doctor confirms, it seems that this business only cares about one thing; making sure their money, even if you cannot use their services.

Do not look to sign up as a member or apply for a job here. I was a Trainer at 9Round Roseville and 9Round Citrus Heights. I personally have witnessed shady business practices from the higher ups. The owner lies to us trainers quite often, and I have no doubt to the members as well. Some of the trainers aren’t even certified. The brand new manager, Keith said I was “let go” (fired without notice) and didn’t have an apparent reason when I asked why. Bottom line: Members, you are paying for a gym that will smile in your face but try to scam you behind your back. And where the trainers are being managed by someone who knows nothing about kickboxing. Trainers, you will be underpaid and will not receive any commission or bonus for generating sales. On top of that, there’s no room for growth and you might get fired for no reason. They don’t care about people, just money. Steer clear of this place.

Been a member of 9round going on 6 years now and have appreciated not only the level of training but the genuine desire to help and improve the lives of the members. Each trainer takes an interest in your goals and well being. Highly recommend for those new, curious or those with experience to kickboxing.

DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACT WITH THEM. My husband didn’t want to sign a yearly contract but the owner John told him it was cheaper & he could cancel anytime. My husband mentioned his wife is in kidney failure so he is her primary caretaker. He might need to cancel his membership due to taking care of his wife who is on dialysis. My husband got injured 3 times due to poor trainers & had to go to the chiropractor. He told John to freeze his membership for 4 months due to health reasons. 3 months later we get a phone call from their corporate office saying we owe $1600. The account was put on hold & now we have to go back & retro pay as well. We were also told John is not the owner. They don’t care if you are going through a serious illness, they just want their money. Stay away from these cheaters. They will send your account to collections even if it is on hold.

This gym and the community that comes with it has been such a life saver for me. I am a long time member and have gone through a high risk pregnancy as well as a major surgery in that time. During both of those instances, I notified management and my account was put on hold until I could return. They just asked that I call to keep posted on the timeframe as certain things are out of their hands with corporate. I go to 9Round for the convenience of an amazing workout without scheduled start times and the 30 minutes that leave you feeling like you worked out for 2 hours. I started here to get back in shape after my first daughter but have stayed because of not only the physical results, but the benefits to my mental health. Tough day: punch a bag. Stressed out: punch a bag. Sad, mad: punch a bag. Happy: still feels good to punch a bag and get a great workout :) I truly leave there feeling better every single time. So fortunate to have such a great gym and a built in extended family!
