Tom has been helping our friends and family for decades and we have brought generations of vehicles to Rosemead Auto for inspection, maintenance, services, and purchase/sale advice. The shop is honest, fair, and customer service is top notch! We now live 30 miles away and still drive out to Rosemead Auto because we love and trust Tom and his shop!

I can't say enough good things about Tom and his shop. Tom actually saved me thousands of dollars by just being honest and a good person. Highly recommend these guys. Be aware, they are very very busy already, but there's a reason for that, they do great work. Salute to Tom and his guys.

The man was very unfriendly. He told me my car was dying and that it was an engine problem. I asked, "are you sure?" AutoZone just told me that I needed to replace the sparkplugs. He said, "It was a waste of time, but fine, I'll do it". He tried to charge me $200 for the spark plugs when they cost $15.99 each at AutoZone (4 spark plugs were needed). I even bought the spark plugs from AutoZone and he still was giving me grief. Saying, he would prefer not to do it as your car is dying. I went elsewhere and they were able to replace it and my car is running just fine. The guy really needs an ego check.

My Son's Prius V catalytic convertor was recently stolen. Contacted Tom about ordering a replacement. He was very up front and honest about it, letting me know that there were so many orders for them that they were on backorder at Toyota and that it could be 6-8 mnth. wait. Needed the convertor so we placed the order anyway. After a 2 1/2 mnth. wait the convertor arrived, was installed and car now drives like new! We also had a shield installed. Tom charged a very reasonable price and they were very quick completing the work! I have another Prius and will be taking it to Tom/Rosemead Auto Center for future maintenance and repairs! Top notch service at reasonable prices!

Tom and his crew are the absolute best in finding the problem, fixing it quickly, and having very fair pricing. The mechanics at the dealerships mostly do routine warranty work on newer cars under such warranties. As such they're usually baffled at finding the more complex issues that arise when a car has over 220,000 miles (like mine) yet still have the nerve to charge high prices while screwing up the diagnosis. Having the expertise of Tom and his crew available is critical to keeping my old Avalon running ever so smoothly. There's peace of mind knowing they'll give me an honest assessment of any weird problem that may appear, while keeping me updated of the repair process along the way. Tom always under promises and over delivers.

My 2014 toyota 4runner limited had a rear passenger axle leak. Brought my car to this shop, walk in and greeted by the owner Mr. Tom Phan who immediately gave an estimate which was affordable enough compaired going to toyota delership. He did an exellent clean job. He deals with all model toyota cars and uses OEM fluid and parts. Not to mention he communicates and gives updates with the repairs. I was glad and happy to find a mechanic you can trust your car with.

No appointment needed. Must call for availability before dropping off your vehicle. So I called, the owner said the shop can't take anymore vehicle for the day. I told him it was my only day off and my engine light has been on for sometimes. He told me to take a photo of the dashboard and send it to him. He replied instantly that I needed an oil change, he told me to stop by after lunchtime. The mechanic also inspected my brakes, reminded me that brakes service is need on my next oil change.

My car had been having issues with the door lock mechanism. Sometimes the fob wouldn't lock or unlock the car. They were able to diagnose and fix the issue in a very fast manner. I've come here a couple of times and have always been happy with their work.
