Multiple times since my old Rite-Aid shut down and I was transferred to the Rosemead branch I've had issues. Not BIG issues. Just enough to make me sigh in a bit of exasperation and smh. I'm grateful that Maria and Raymond made it over to the other branch. And while they are both absolutely AMAZING, my review today is in regards to pharmacy tech Wendy.Backstory: I went in last week to get my scripts and was told I had a balance due. Not having had to previously pay, I was confused and asked for confirmation. My only response? "That's what the computer says." That's it. She walked away.Today, I called my insurance company and was told I shouldn't be paying anything. Thinking I had all the needed details, and armed with this new information, I went back. This time I spoke with Wendy. She patiently walked me through all aspects of the situation step by step, and made sure I had no unanswered questions. Totally cool...totally professional. And her knowledge and demeanor were totally appreciated. Would have thrown up 5 stars but I'm still off put by the indifference of "that's what the computer says." and walking away. I mean I still have to pay, but the knowing WHY makes all the difference. Good customer service shouldn't be the exception, but the rule, imo.Kudos to Wendy, Maria, and Raymond. Thank you!!!!

The front entrance and parking area could use some cleaning up, also what's up with the cashier keep talking to the customers while there are people waiting in line at the back?

Pharmacy short staffed, rude, and overall unhelpful. Came during open hours in a Saturday at 1 only for them to tell me their pharmacist is on a lunch break. Until when? 3:00. 2 hours without a pharmacist available. Came in again a week later only for them to tell me they are short staffed for walk-in's. Really. I called multiple times and came in person before. No one told me about potential staffing issues. Staff was short informing me of this, even more infuriating after the inconvenient drive I made. Staff is useless. Would not recommend unless you have no other option.

I've been in that store around 7 times, and EVERY time I am greeted by Valentine (hope I spelled correctly). He always gives great customer service. I've seen him interact with many customers and he is always courteous and friendly to everyone. Too many young people think is not cool to be friendly or just don't care these days. It's refreshing to see someone actually giving great service these days. If he's not the manager there, he should be!

Rite Aid store located in City of Rosemead located on Valley Blvd./Ivar Ave. is a great place to shop and find great options for times one is searching for at the time. Pharmacy is amazing, Pharmacy Tech can even run out to the store area and pick up the Medicine that Participant was shopping.

***This review is for the Pharmacy only***My Mom needed to have one of her prescriptions refilled. I happened to be driving by this Rite Aid in Rosemead yesterday. I stopped and we walked in to see if we could get it refilled. Well, we were informed by the pharmacist that in order to get a prescription refilled, the prescription needs to be transferred over from the current pharmacy to the new pharmacy. Unfortunately, the current pharmacy was already closed for the day so we'll have to try again next time.Pharmacist was okay. Not the smiley type though. Hey, we're not here to make friends. We just need to get our medications and that is what matters LOL. However, a friendly smile can lift up someone's spirits any time of the day... do try to put it in your daily practice... it will make your heart sing and make someone's day! Thank you for the prescription transfer information though... we will have to remember next time. Anyway, I have nothing more to add here. Happy Rite Aiding!

The employees who conducted the covid tests were careless, I informed them that I was sighted impaired and I wasn’t able to drive a car, and I needed accommodation for the test. However, they didn’t care, they insisted that I must have a vehicle otherwise I couldn't take the test over there. I took one hour to go there and got nothing. I’m very unhappy about this, it’s the worst place to have a covid test.

As a recent retired individual I had to choose a different pharmacy to obtain my medication. Since I've been with Rite Aid in Rosemead they have been extremely kind and very considered of the refills I need to have done in a timely manner and I've never had any problems with the staff#retired

I just received my medication from the person delivery to my house. I was told last time from the pharmacist that I will be receiving 60 pills instead of 30 pills. I called the pharmacy store. I told this pharmacist that am I suppose to receive 60 pills instead of 30 pills. I told that was not right and I told her I will not come back here again. She was rude and just hung up the phone on me. Then, I tried to back several time they do not pick up the phone. An educated person would not do that hanging a phone on a patient. Very unprofessional and uneducated. What kind pharmacist are you, so rude and very impolite. I am an educated person too. Do not underestimate a patient ok. I do not really recommended this store. Negative star.

This Rite Aid is the worst by far! There's a reason why I don't go to Rite Aid and this approved it 100%! First of all, the pharmacy receptionist was inpatient and not being helpful. Secondly, the whole system at Pharmacy is totally unproductive and incredibly slow. My doc called in two hours ahead but they said they didn't get the prescription so I had to call my doc again then the doc office had to talk to them to confirm the prescription. I waited in the store for nearly an hour. While I was waiting for the order I picked up a few things and only found out they completely ran out of bags! So I had to carry everything with my bare hand

Customer service is less than pleasing. I walked straight to the parlor and waited a couple minutes. When no one came, I asked the only cashier if there was someone that worked at the ice cream area. She stated she went on just went on break. I had to ask how long. She said 15 minds and went back to cashiering. I waited another moment and asked, can u help me or do I have to wait for her to come back? She said you have to wait. I rolled my eyes and walked out.
