Need to replace my old range hood so I called in to inquire about the models that I saw on their website. The person who picked up the call was rude to say the least. Very impatient with one word answers, very unprofessional. I own a Pacair but I'm going to consider others right now.

Just bought a basic 30' unit with installation, and it cost us almost $1000. As for the unit, since it's new, I can't comment about it yet. The one star that really should be a no star is for the installation service and the hostile attitude after I reported his unethical, "experienced" installation worker.The installation worker came and told us he had to charge $50 more since he needed to put two small wood panels to support the unit. We negotiated down to $30. Please note, the extra $30 is on top of the $100 installation fees already paid with the unit. During the removal of the old unit, he kept complaining about how our old unit was installed wrong and he couldn't get it out. He said he has over 20 years experience and never saw this type of the installation.He started making up stories and told us he might need to cut some cabinet out and he asked for $60 more. So we paid him $90 in cash since he wouldn't take a check. After he was gone, I realized he ripped us off. He didn't touch the cabinet door at all. Our old unit could have been easily removed simply by pulling down the lower panel and removing the screws. All he did in front of us was a show to cheat for extra unethical money. Money is one thing, the whole experience was just horrible.I called and told the owner the incident. The owner said his worker wouldn't cheat for that small sum of money. The owner failed me as a Pacair customer.I know I am at fault for paying the worker the cash, without proof to go after him. There is a Chinese saying, whoever got unethical money will not do well. So fellow consumers, please be aware!

Did not expect to get such good service at such a... modest...looking place with a couple Chinese guys inside it, but I have to admit, it was a pretty easy experience coming to buy replacement lightbulbs for our hood.Also why do they have like the biggest parking lot in the SGV haha. I love it.Shoutout to Mr. Wong! Thank you!

First let me start by saying, I'm soooo glad I didnt look at these Yelp reviews before we went to this Pacair store. As that wouldve been a major deterrent and I did not experience anything negative myself. We were looking for a Vented Hood with a higher CFM (cubic feet of air moved per minute), as our old Vent-A-Hood was not doing a proficient job and we were having a new gas range installed. It's very important when using a gas range to have proper ventilation, otherwise its extremely hazardous to ones health and should they have birds or children for that matter. We'd looked at Home Depot and the CFM they offer is very weak. The salesperson at HomeDepot suggested we look in SanGabriel, indicating they offer range hoods with higher CFM. We went to a few different locations, but they could not install until a month later, as they were so busy due to all the business they were getting from the Chinese New Year sales. So we went to Howard's, the hoods looked nice, but were thousands with a relatively low CFM. The salesman at Howard's said he got his vented hood from pacair 10+ years ago, indicating it's a high CFM and still works great. He even drew us a map on how to get to this specific location. We were greeted by Virgil, a very informative nice Salesman. He was able to answer all my questions and concerns. We choose a hood and were able to get it installed that next week. The best part, was the guy they sent out to install the unit (sorry, didnt get the name). Virgil had indicated the installer has been doing installations for 20+ years and he could even replace the ductwork for a small additional fee. As I was also concerned about the 50+ year old grimy ducts and jointed ducts, which will also lessen the proficiency of your hood. The installer came out, went in the attic to assess the situation and suggested putting a new duct straight up and out, with no joints. Oh ya and for a fraction of the cost that others quoted me over the phone for ductwork. He was extremely courteous, proficient, and neat. This is a one stop shop for vented range hoods, as they take care of everything and make sure your safe. Thank you!

Their responses could have been better when inquiring on their prices of the range hoods. An extra stars given for their greetings when we went in to choose which to buy. They were very willing with their demonstration of their range hoods however but any ways thats to show how supposedly great how wonderful were their stuff

Many different modes which you can select. The sale staff is very knowledgeable. I am able to arrange remove and install the exhaust fan and install a SS plate to cover the back wall with the same company. Much better than finding three contractors to do the work.

Very poor customer service from one of the sales staff at time of purchase and also the two times when seeking resolution to issues related to the LED lights, both of which broke within 8 months of purchase. And when you seek someone else to speak to, they just stand by their policy and also increase the price of replacement parts. Beware. There is a design flaw and a reason they wont warranty the lights.

Very bad service. Visit for the new oil cup because mine is broken. One of sales came and I told him what I need. He seem doesn't want to help. Because of just $1 oil cup, not the whole range hood fan??

Poor Customer service when I called the 1-800 #.Please educate your staffs with pleasant andgood manners and be more dedicate to their work.I should have read the reviews before purchasing thisproduct.

Very poor service from the moment of sale to when you need help addressing product issues. It doesn't bother their sales team to blow customers off once they have your money for the premium priced item thanks to their 30+ years of marketing in the Chinese community. I bought a $700 unit and within 8 months had both LED lights fail. Its and electronics shielding issue by design as LED bulbs should have a useable life longer than than the fan motors. As the LEDs are not under warranty and the bulbs are exclusively available through Pacair, they are happy to charge or overcharge you for replacements. Prices increased with each subsequent call. There's a reason why they don't warranty certain parts. Be ready for some customer service treatment that aptly fits stereotype when you have an issue.

Be careful buying from this company! Deceptive lifetime warranty policy. Was looking to get my motor replaced but was promptly denied when I didn't have a receipt for my range hood! My appliance was 10 years old and they didn't honor the lifetime warranty
