My Ford Fusion’s water pump went out & I contacted a few shops in the San Gabriel Valley where none of the shops were skilled to perform the complex repair for this 1.5L Ford Ecoboost engine. Even the local Ford Dealer service center never returned my two calls? Then I found Lima Auto Repair where Chris eased my worries & stated that they were totally skilled with these engines & had all the complex tools necessary. The cost were reasonable and the repairs were professionally done in a few days. Customer service, smartphone appraisal & approval process was awesome! My car is like new again & I received a great warranty for my repair. Mike the owner even washed my car before I picked it up. My new auto repair shop is Lima Auto Repair. Go see Chris & Mike, you will be impressed with this shop. Thank you ?

I was referred to this shop from carmax website and I'm glad I was. They were very nice and professional. Chris was great in letting me about what was going on with my car. The price was reasonable and I will begin to use them as my go to mechanics, plus refer family and friends. Thank you.

I was aware of the issues I was having with my vehicle and had an estimate from another repair shop without them seeing my vehicle, I spoke to Chris from Lima auto repair who explained that a full and thurough inspection would be required to pinpoint the exact issue. After it was determined to be the issue I was aware of, the vehicle was repaired with expertise and I was informed of other repairs that would be necessary in the near future. I was never intimidated or pressured for any additional repairs, I actually saved $300.00 from the initial estimate from the other repair shop. I am going to let my friends and family know of the very positive experience I had at Lima auto repair. Thanks Chris and crew.

I came in with a minor issue after coming from another shop that was clearly overcharging. I was helped out by Chris and he was very helpful and helped me patch up my issue relatively quickly and at a fair price. Would definitely return if my car ever needs any other repairs.

My oil cooler went out in my Jeep, resulting in "chocolate milk" all up in my radiator. Very happy with the repair work. I knew my Jeep was in great hands ?? Thank you!

Chris was wonderful to deal with. I got the runaround with other mechanics who inflated rates with services I didn’t need. Lima offered a reasonable price and fast service with a car wash (which was an amazing bonus). Will be back again for their trustworthy work.

Professional and organized people with a full-service shop in a convenient location. They only handled a transmission diagnostic but would have been happy to do the required work with them if it wasn't for my budget. there are some places you plan to review but never get around to doing it. THIS is not going to be one of those because of the way I discovered Lima Auto, and when. i'm in this area more than i'd like for reasons unrelated to car trouble, which in fact is exactly the sort of thing that makes such temporary living difficult when it occurs. this occurrence happened at a most inconvenient moment, as my friend was being released from a local hospital and i was determined to get away from here for a much needed 400 mile drive back home. unfortunately, i turned on the car only to see that dreaded icon appear on the panel that looks like a transmission or some similarly mysterious and essential mechanical car part, and advises "check engine". what the hell is there to check? so i ask a guy in a motel i was at where to get a car repaired, and of course he mentioned local gas stations and pep boys type stores. hopeless how locals in LA seem to know so little about their immediate surroundings. anyway i called some tire place and a guy says well we've got a lot ahead of you, leave your car here overnight and we'll get to it. uh, no. next i go to my usual best reference, yelp of course, and there sure enough is this listing for Lima which is maybe two miles away. i called and Mike said, sure bring it by and we'll have a look. MY GOD this isn't happening, this kind of thing NEVER happens in real life. i drive a couple of miles, past fast food and discount food stores and burrito places and all the rest of the lightweight retail stuff that makes up most of southern california, and here is this place: Lima Auto Repair. Two guys in the office which is way too tidy for the usual appearance of a repair garage. Mike gets out the magic electronic sensors that read the inner workings of a car, and announces you need a new cat converter. these are expensive of course, but not a deal breaker when you're driving a few hundred miles home. Mike wouldn't take my money, so I promised in return I'd write this review which is completely genuine. Thank you, Mike. I needed that. So here's the review in shortform. Anytime you find a guy skilled in the arcane world of auto repair and generous of spirit to take the time to do a quick check out of a problem, make that guy a permanent listing in your address book. he's more important to you than a brain surgeon, because you're very unlikely to need the latter but will for sure need the former. I have added Lima to my directory, and will have Mike and partner Chris replace the converter next time i'm in the neighborhood. Impressive, hard to find service here at Lima.

Fabulous job and customer service. Got an absurd quote from Honda to fix my AC and Lima Auto Repair halved the price. Also extended the warranty on the job. Couldn't recommend this place more!

Had to find a car servicer in my new area and Lima was a great choice! I thought I could swing by at the open of their day but their schedules were packed with appts. Still, Chris let me know if I left my car that within a certain time frame my car could be serviced and left me with the option. Prices were fair and they were communicative, honest and not pressuring of getting any additional or more services. Instead they did an inspection and just gave me a summary of what my car would need and the quote for each service.Definitely recommend and believe Lima is my new car place!
