My first stylist here was a guy and he did a great job with dying my hair (highlights and full head color). The second one was May and she's been cutting my hair the past couple of times and they've been amazing! She completely understands what my hair and bangs need (sometimes the volume and structure confuse other stylists). And she doesn't complain about my hair volume like a lot of other places do, they're clean and professional.

I had my hair cut and bleached by Gether and the result was fantastic! I asked for my hair to be done a certain way and he added his own touches to make it even better! Gether has done my haircuts many times and always produces top quality haircuts. I like to change my hairstyle once in a while and he always has great ideas that help me decide how I would like my hair done. Definitely recommend Gether for haircuts and hair color!

This hair salon is truly amazing! I've been here multiple times and the salon is very nice and the workers here are patient and great at what they do! May has been doing my hair each time I've been here and there hasn't been a bad experience for me ever. I've come in both times to get my hair colored and whenever I show May my inspiration picture, the results come out exactly like what I had asked for. She is very sweet and she checked up on me multiple times when she was doing my hair to make sure I was doing okay. The service here is great and the price is very reasonable!

Great haircut by Gether for affordable price. I did perm and cut which look great. Wife treats me better and getting more looks from others. It's hard to find a fashionable haircut nowadays and thank goodness I've found one.

I normally don't post reviews but I am SO BLOWN AWAY BY MAY LEE'S WORK! I came in with bad highlights and coloring from a previous hairdresser who made my hair look ratchet. But May Lee knew exactly what to do to fix my hair and deliver what I wanted which were more blended highlights and a natural, sunkissed brown color. I noticed that even my complexion looked brighter because she knew the right color to choose. I will only be going to her from now on!!

I came in for a haircut and they did an incredible job at making my thin hair look fuller. May made sure to communicate with me about how I wanted it to look and was very precise!High recommend!

I've been coming here for about a year and have always loved the end results! I recently went red after being blonde for three years and was scared I would hate it but the end result was exactly like the picture I showed MayLee!

Envy hair studio is very neat and clean. All the staff are friendly. The services are awesome. I would recommend getting your hairstyle done by May Lee. She is a very talented hairstylist. She suggested me a beautiful haircut that suited well to my facial features and changed my entire look. I absolutely love it!

I was able to get same day appointment with May and was very satisfied with my hair! May is excellent with dying and highlights. Very detailed, takes her time. I highly recommend.

One of the worst haircuts ever. I should have paid attention to another review that mentioned MayLee butchered her short hair cut. The Yelp photos of May's work with long hair seemed great which is why I decided to make an appointment, and everyone mentioned how she was a sweetheart and friendly, but I got the exact opposite??? I dislike having to write this review in the first place and being negative but I don't want someone making the same mistake of going here as well. I showed May a few inspo photos of a long lob with face framing layers that hit around the lip. She ended up giving me curtain bangs that hit around mid-nose, which are completely different than longer face framing layers and are much higher maintenance that require daily styling which I did not want to do!! She was very cold the entire cut, made no effort to chat, did not check in with me at any point in time (how's this length, is it okay if the layers are like this, etc.) I'm used to stylists who try to engage a little bit at least, make you feel valued and confident in their ability, but May was NOT that. My haircut makes me look like I'm 15 years older, is extremely unflattering for my face shape and choppy at the bottom, and she left so much weight at the ends. It looks so gross, like it's all one heavy wig piece...vs. the haircuts I've gotten from other stylists that are all flowy and light. See picture, top left is what I got from May vs. literally everyone else NOT her. I also hate that she did not use any heat protectant while blow drying the shit out of my hair. Can't wait for this to grow out and go to another hair stylist to fix....have never had this kind of experience before.

First time at this salon and I will definitely come back again! Victor did my hair and I am very happy with the results. There was a small mishap with my appointment. I called a couple days ahead of time to book an appointment. Then I called a 2nd time to confirm my appointment, but apparently they misheard the appointment date the first time I called. On the day of the appointment, it felt like I was more of a walk-in client. I waited about 15 minutes for one of the hair stylist to finish their current client. I asked for a 3-inch cut with layers and it was $50. Overall, I am very happy with the results and will definitely come back again. Thank you Victor!

I think I've found one of the best hair salons in the SGV! No cap.. As I told May, I am perplexed that I have never discovered her before and it's a shame since I will be moving to DTLA for work soon. She replicated the hairstyle I wanted and made it even better than I expected. I was impressed with how fast and efficiently she completed it in under an hour. I'm so glad I decided to get this cut before I'm moved in to South Park. It's hard to believe they've been open for nine years and I just stepped foot inside today. I highly recommend coming to this place and asking for May if you want a precise and detailed haircut!!
