Location is great to downtown LA. Rooms need some updating however. I think they united two buildings together therefore, if you get a room in the 50-60s. You will have to walk what it feels like a whole block. Great reception and main entrance. Just dated.Rooms: The rooms are dated, beds are old and bathrooms are old.Noteworthy details: Shopping Mall across the street!

I highly don't recommend this location, I had a very negative experience. Front desk agent Kristen, was very rude, racist, and disrespectful to me and my girlfriend. I felt harassed, belittled and very insulted when she accused me of stealing another guest' personal information. We were treated differently than others of her same color (white). Kristen was sarcastic and had a negative attitude, which was clearly noticed by her body language. Assistant Manager, Francisco nor Manager Chaddy Girgis seem uninterested in my negative experience and didn't show any remorse, nor was sympathetic to the experience Kristen caused.

All staff were welcoming, location was ok. Room chairs and carpets needed a good cleaning.Nearby activities: Right across the street is the mall , so any extra clothing needs or a quick mall snack is easy to just walking distance , a couple of restaurants are in the same vicinity as wellFood & drinks: Theres access to the hotel bar and restaurant, quiet environment, plenty of tables to sit at

Had to go to LA and was looking for a safe, convenient place for a night. This fit the bill. Good area, convenient, safe. Room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked. Best part of the stay was Melissa, the front desk clerk. Super friendly and helpful in getting us the right room and other special requests. She checked us in in the evening and checked us out the next morning. Does she ever get a break? Regardless, she's an asset to the company. Plus, warm cookies on check-in.
