Charging a 10% credit or debit (!) card fee is unbelievably ridiculous. Do you know why they do that? To force you to pay cash so that you can’t dispute anything on your card if they do terrible work, that’s why! This is not a shop you want to take your car to for anything.

Went and got my windows tinted. They are friendly but now that I'm asking them to warranty their work they aren't helping me. They are giving me the run around and telling me it'll take 3 weeks and 3 days to Retint my rear window. They gave me the company Syntek's number, I was on hold for 1 hour, and they didn't want to help. I've tinted serval vehicles but now I don't trust them with my tinting let alone a larger job like stereo system. The place is super dirty and I recommend you find a trustworthy location. Peter you lost a loyal customer who has sent you plenty of business.

I went Pete because I was having alarm issues. He immediately stated that the alarm wasn’t responding to the fob. Since he could no longer get a similar fob, he refused to honor the life time warranty on my alarm system (alarm and fob ). However he suggested I go on line to locate a fob and he even offer to sale me a new alarm system for $250.00. I asked that he meet me half way, his response was that he couldn’t lose money. So, he refuse to honor the lifetime warranty. Bottom line I don’t have a functioning alarm system. So my next step is to file my complain with the Better Business Bureau and the California Consumer Board. Mine you, l like Peter, very personable, he failed to honor the warranty( I presented the original receipt to him with the Lifetime warranty written on it. Would I have him install another alarm system, I think not.

I went to this place when I got my windows tinted a few years back, and I had to come back and leave a good review. I went early in the morning to drop off my car, and the workers were nice answering the questions I had about tint percentages and the cost. Once I paid for it, I had to wait until later in the afternoon (around 4pm) to pick it up. I was amazed with the quality! I did not notice any blemishes on the job and to this day I am still happy with this purchase. I have recommended this place to a few of my friends and family and it has Thank you again for your service!

I’ve been going to California tint since the 90s it’s always quality window tint and you can tell quality window tint by the way it looks once it’s installed in your car and by how long it last I appreciate you, Peter for the hard work in a great service and the surprise that you surprise me with today thank you thank you

Very very busy. Unfortunately I have friends who had bad experiences in the past 3x, but I found out too late. Luckily I'm less picky too? I do have a very old car to tint. Owner Peter is very easy to speak with, and very helpful. Most people, including the owner, gets front 35% (side windows), and back 18% (side windows and back windshield) = $200ish. Backs are legal but you must be cautious if you're living in a dark neighborhood cause it's difficult to see at night if top dark. 18% is usual for many ppl, but I was going to keep it safe, cause we do drive thru dark areas, or for camping. We also got the front windshield visor ($40) to help with shade. I have a very old car so we aren't too picky on things compare to others.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!I've been coming here and been referring people here for over 17 years. I got my window tint done a little over 12 years ago when they had "lifetime warranty".I chose this spot because of this lifetime warranty & how well they do on tint. But now that my tint in messing up they didn't want to honor their "lifetime warranty". They're also extremely RUDE.Service: Vehicle window tinting

Every car Ive had since 2010 has come to CA TINT shop. They're the best and give you a lifetime guarantee on the tint. They're friendly and will go over all options before deciding. Pricing is fair but the quality if perfection.

This place claims that they have lifetime warranty on their work. I can in to claim 10yr old tint that was peeling and they redid it. Then owner told me he will no longer warranty the work. So lifetime means only one redo? It's a popular place but has horrible ethics.

Been here twice to get my car tinted. Prices are reasonable and service is quick and efficient. Get there early or there will be a long wait. They offer a warranty but have not had to use it. I have referred many of my friends and family here and everyone has been happy.

The worker will use your car as the AC to cool off and use your radio for the music. If you don't like that California Tent is not the place for you.
