If I could give it zero stars I would. Please don't ever bring your dog here for grooming. They are the worst. They called and said my dog war ready. When they handed him to me he was wet. I asked them to dry him more. I paid for service to brush his teeth and clean his ears. They said that they did but when I checked his ears and his mouth they were not clean. They checked my dog for mats before they took him in. I brushed him thoroughly to make sure he would have no tangles before his appointment. During the precheck one tangle was found. When I picked him up he has mats on his ears and throughout his body. The technician gave him mats during the washing process. He is a long hair dog and he was nut washed with the proper technique. Then they has the audacity to charge an extra $20 to untangle him - however he was full of tangles when I picked him up. I asked them to untangle him and Jasmine the dog groomer said she could not. I spoke with her for 5 minutes showing her how to do it and she went to the back and came back and said she got one out. I asked for the manager and he said she untangled him. I showed him the tangles and he still did not waive the additional fees. I went home and worked on the dog myself. It total I was charged over $95 for a bath- no haircut. They did a terrible job and they are incompetent. If you have an average / short haired dog yiu might be ok if you only want your dog shaved to 1/2 in. But if you have a speciality dog, designer dog with longer hair you will regret coming here. My dog went on happy and playful. When she brought him out he was shaking and scared. I even asked her what happened and why he was scared and she could not answer me. My dog is groomed every two weeks and is used to being groomed and handled. I came to Petco because I was not able to attend my regular appointment with the regular groomer. It was a huge mistake.

I purchased are usual brand of dog food Whole Hearted and it caused diarrhea after my dog ate it. We tried 2 separate times a few days apart to make sure and both times it caused diarrhea. I know their policy is 30 days but I tried to returned after. The food cost $12 and I could see if I was trying to return for other reasons but I think if the food was bad they could make an exception. I really have no other recourse but to go somewhere else, so that's what I'll do. They lost a customer over $12 but I'm sure they don't care. Petsmart or centinela here we come. Thanks for reading

This petco is fantastic! The staff is friendly and helpful, and they have everything I need for Mister Doughnut( grandkids named him not me!). The store is well-organized, and the product selection is top-notch. The prices are reasonable, and they even offer grooming and veterinary services. This is definitely our go-to pet store!

Easy parking. This Petco is part of a large outdoor shopping center. Petco is next to Rite Aid. The staff were all very friendly. I asked questions about the cat food and they were very knowledgeable. I bought a new brand and if my cat doesn't like it, I can always bring the opened bag back for credit.

When you've got this many one-star ratings, there may be a reason for it. While setting up for a trim and bath, I accidentally put checked the wrong info in the notes about my dog having a heart issue, and they called to check on that, which was appreciated. But then when we talked to clarify it up, they refused service without my going to my veterinarian to get something printed on letterhead saying he's clear to get a bath. Their policy is literally if you accidentally check something, you have to spend your time and the vet's time to get something printed to say "nope...that was a mistake."While I appreciate caring about my dog's health, that isn't helping my dog. That's having an overprotective lawyer, instead of a good one, and that's a company hiring employees who are trained to act instead of think. We already shop at the pet store across the street because of the quality of the products. We'll go to a more caring facility for grooming also.

The good:The store is very well organized and easy to navigate. I was able to find a hemastat product here to use on my mom's 15 year old maltese's nail because it was bleeding because he's old and they're brittle. It worked well and was easy to use. They have a lot of cute dog goodies for birthdays like hats, dog cookies, dog ice cream, toys that are birthday related, and more. They have clearance items for good prices as well. The bad:I couldn't find the spray version of the hemastat that I was looking for originally but saw online that Petco carries it. Some items are pricier than if you got something similar at Home Goods (pet bowls and beds for example). The interesting:The single cashier was very chatty and passionate about pets but as a result talked to customers for a very long time while the guy next in line was carrying a heavy and giant container of cat litter.

I have 5 stars because of the service here. The staff are incredibly accommodating and most of them I've found are also knowledgeable- seem to really know their product, I've had great experience with the grooming here, both just-wash and wash+cut. Sara and Carly are my favorites. Patient and great grooming.I don't buy the dog food here because it's pricey to me, so I can't speak to that. I did purchase a dog toy here but the dog chewed it up within an hour. I assumed the quality would be better if purchased here at Petco, but not necessarily. It was even Kong brand which I generally have good experience with.Lastly, I find the app easy to use for scheduling grooming services.

Long overdue! So we are new pet parents and had our rescue for a few months. Azalea is just so amazing with our little Cheddar. From the first time when he was stinky, matted, and just recovered from neutering. To every month after, she has been sweet and gentle. He doesn't like going in but she makes him so relaxed while there and he looks amazing after. First time I inquired about something to help with a hotspot and she walked me right over. She gives great reports after each service. And it looks like the whole team is amazing! Thank you guys!

Filthy filthy filthy store. I came in to get some large containers of dog food. I went inside and there were lots of employees standing around. I would think one of them could clean the floors.

I really like the size of this Petco. It's spacious and has everything you need for your pet. Everything for the most part is in stock as well which is nice. The employees here that I've encountered all have been courteous and willing to help if needed. We use the grooming services here as well for our dog and have been satisfied each time. The grooming prices are fair and the groomers also are nice and never disappoint. We'll continue to come to this location. The other surrounding Petco's in our area just aren't as nice as this one.

We've been taking our senior bull terrier dog to get her nails trim. In the past, we've been turned away from other grooming places because our dog has very sensitive paws and she is not easy to trim. She is a big dog and she can be intimidating if she is not happy. The groomer at this Petco (I think her name is Jenni) is amazing with our dog. She even carried her since our dog refused to walk into the salon. She did a wonderful job with her nails. I'm really happy with this place.

I recently had my dog groomed at the Rolling Hills Estates Petco by lead groomer Dana Reilly. When I watched through the outside window I thought it strange that she did not look underneath my dog when she shaved him.In fact she was talking to another groomer as she shaved my 9 month old puppy. Her negligence caused a razor abrasion and left his testicles bloody and Cooper traumatized.I took Cooper to see the Vet to see if antibiotics were needed. He verified the razor abrasion and told me how to care for Cooper to make sure he did not become infected. When I went back to the store about this matter Tiffany who claimed to be a manager was rude to me to the point of being insulting. In my angst of being mistreated and my puppy being abused I called Customer Service for a week but could not get a supervisor to return my call.I finally sent an email and finally the Petco District Manager Shannon Smith called me and assured me that it was appropriate for them to reimburse me for the Vet bill but there has been no follow through as to my receiving that promised check. We are approaching 1 month in a few days. I emailed the CEO of Petco and he has not responded either. I sent both he and the District Manager a photo of Cooper's bloody testicles. Photo's do not lie ! Petco's customer service is nil .Given the fact that my little puppy was injured and traumatized I find it appalling that Petco did not reach out in any way. I have lost respect for Petco and would never consider using their grooming department. In fact I will do my business with Pet Food Express right across the street.

Awful customer service and attitude by the store manager Nancy. I do not recommend ever going to this store again. I will write a complaint letter to their corporate office. We tried to buy a fish today and the store manager Nancy asked us a lot of questions just to buy 1 or 2 fish. "How big of a fish tank do you have, do you have a water filter, heater, pump? ... Can you show me a picture of your fish tank at home?!?! ... if you don't have this equipment, we cannot sell you a fish." I understand she wants to make sure the fish are not abused and will be taken care of but is she the "fish police?" We told her we already have a fish at home right now and take good care of it. We would buy more equipment for the fish if it is needed. We asked for her to show us the PETCO company policy where it says "if you do not have stated equipment, their store WILL NOT sell any fish to you!" Nancy could not produce it but it likely does not exist! Eventually she relented and quit fighting about not selling a fish to us but she went as far as to threaten that if "we" bought a fish, the fish would not be refundable and the store would not take any responsibility for the fish! We never asked about refund policy and have no intention on returning the fish. How unprofessional and disappointed in being treated in this manner!!!
