I had a great experience! The vet I go to close to home couldn't figure out my pet problem after I mentioned her issue. I told my friend at work my frustrations of my pets discomfort and pain. I decided to take his recommendation and Dr Johnson found the root of the problem completely different from what I thought it could be! My dog had surgery and is in such better state. No more infection and pain for my doggo fox Pomeranian. Yes I spent a pretty penny for surgery but honestly I am so glad she is okay! that's all that matters ... I highly recommend Peninsula Center Pet Hospital Thank you Dr Johnson for being a great doctor and care taker You are Noticed

While the facility is nice, the employees do not listen. TWICE now we have had services performed on our dogs without giving permission. Both times were vaccines that we weren't even asked about. The excuse we were given was “It was on the chart like he received it in the past so we assumed he’d get it again.” Key words “we assumed.” Terrible vet that is just money hungry. We will not be returning after 4 years of service with this location.

My cat had not been to the vet in 8 years so I was worried, but the staff there worked their magic like straight pros. They handled his visit quick and calm and I did not even hear a meow from my pet. Peninsula Center Pet Hospital will be my go to for sure!

I've gone to most every vet in the So Bay over past 40 years. I can truly say I have never felt more confident and had a better resource to do the best for our dogs. The support staff is the most helpful and the most knowledgeable I've experienced.

Dr Ogino is great. Very caring and extremely kind. She has cared for our animals for many years. She loves all animals - cats and dogs. Our furry family member sense this and she puts them at ease during examinations and treatments. We trust her and she provides outstanding care.

Dr. Johnson was a wonderful doctor. If you have a petite dog (mine is 3 pounds) she takes vigilant care and you feel reassured when they are in her care. My dog unfortunately broke her arm and Dr. Johnson made me feel more comfortable about the news. She delivered the bad news is a very caring way and swiftly contacted other hospitals to see who could take my dog right away. I feel so happy to know that I met her and know that with her as my vet my dog is in the best/safest hands! I highly recommend 10/10!

Thank you for asking and Dr Moeller was exceptional! During Essy’s examine, she was very kind in letting me comfort and hold my scared baby while she proceeded with a thorough exam. After the exam, Dr Moeller, in a very personable way, took her time explaining not only the diagnosis, but informative information I had not learned from other Veterinarians. I also appreciated her empathy toward Essence’ fear, plus by disclosing about her own dog, I felt understood and that she really does “get” how scared pups struggle and what to do to help comfort them during their visits:)
The tech team was warm and helpful, as well as the focused front office gals.

I've sat on this review for a few months, but feel it would be a disservice not to share our experience. We have taken our cat to this practice for over 10 years. He had suddenly (and temporarily, I add) lost his vision, and from a quick google search you can see the cause of that could be extreme dehydration from kidney disease (which she had previously diagnosed him with). She jumped to saying she felt fairly certain he had a terminal brain tumor, and offered to put him down on the spot. As like most pet owners, we didn't want to exasperate any pain he might have been in, and we strongly considered doing this as we trusted her professional opinion. Eventually, we opted to give him a steroidal medication that would extend his life for what she described as a couple of weeks. We got a second opinion at All Pets in San Pedro, and they confirmed there was NO tumor, and it was merely the pre-existing kidney disease that can be treated and managed. It has now been over 8 months and he is symptom free (and alive). They were shocked that he would be diagnosed with that, given the symptoms that were present. I understand no practitioner is perfect and they make judgment calls without extensive testing being done, but her recommendation felt rash, uncalculated, and in retrospect, she was in a rush and didn't feel like investigating further. We spent thousands prior to this visit, and she didn't look at the data to see, maybe this isn't what I think it is. We spent months hoping he was alive when we woke up in the morning, and I think this mistake and the stress it caused was 100% avoidable.

Excellent, caring and over the top professional care all around. Dr Moeller understood my Malinois' anxiety and allowed me to be with her during her exam. She took plenty of time explaining important facts that helped my pup alot. I am truly grateful to her and Peninsula Center's great team!!

I have tried 4 other local veterinarians, and this is the best.
