I'd give them a zero if I could. This place is the worst! These workers treat work more like a kids' hangout than a business. Went to put a bill in my daughter's name who lives with me. Idiots shut off my service and changed my landline! Spoke with Jesus. He was too busy flirting with my daughter to pay attention to what he was doing. He was trying to sell us cell phone service to add to our plan. Greed. Two visits to the store and now have to fight to get phone # we had over 40 years. Don't use this place if you can avoid them! Who manages this store?! They need to be fired.

Went today to return cable equipment and there door says they open at 10am, Google maps says they open at 10am, I waited 2 hours for them not to open! Can't believe I wasted my time there for nothing! When you call the company they have no clue because on there end it says there open!

I was very pleased with my experience with this Cox location. Previous reviews were bad, but the location is close to my home so I decided to go anyway. After working with Cox online to solve our problem, I was told to go to the closest cox store and get a new cable box. I called the Rolling Hills location and a recording told me to leave a message. I let them know my name and account number and told them we needed to pick up a new box. When we got to the store, there was no waiting. I gave my name and he had my new unit ready immediately. I worked with Bruce and he was very professional. The whole transaction took 5 minutes. This location is now staffed by Cox Corporate office and I recommend them highly.

Terrible service. Internet was down for 5 days. Giving wrong information by different departments. Did not send reminder when the internet would be back up in service.

If I could give zero stars I would. Customer service is useless. The technicians are sadly not trained. If your time is precious to you, find another company. Cox is useless.

I needed to transfer service. When I tried to transfer service via the website the rate went from $65 to $180. So I used to chat option and they let me keep my current rate and completed the transaction in about 2 mins.

I needed to close out my parents' account after they died. I called COX and was assured that if I brought all their stuff to the local store and paid the bill I could close out the account, but still have email access via the web client for 90 days. I didn't have the password but was assured that the store could help me. LSS - they couldn't. I brought them the four pieces of (probably highly outdated) equipment, paid the bill, and was told that I couldn't access the email. I called the main whatever again, was told that I needed better documentation, and went back with an assortment of death certificates and powers of attorney. No dice. Finally they said that I could wait 30 days from that date and I'd be able to reset the password online using my phone # to verify instead of his. His phone was long gone at this point since I'd been nice and not cancelled the cable service until the caregiver moved out. Today was the big day. I went online. Didn't work. Did chat with very helpful person (Davila H, clearly their best and brightest employee based on my experience). They were ultimate able to reset the verification to my phone and I set up a new password and was able to log in. Success?!?? Not so fast because it told me that the account no longer existed. Tried multiple times. Guess I'm out of luck. I suppose if we owe anyone money they'll find us and if his friends want to contact him perhaps they can use an Ouija Board. So I feel like I was lied to by the people that you call and the people at the store. Is it possible to give less than zero stars???

cox as a service is awful--BEWARE! Called today and never got a customer service agent after waiting over 30 minutes. Call back again and got one finally but was put on hold and person came back after ten minutes to say call back later and then immediately hung up on me!

The most trash internet service I've ever had. Randomly goes out throughout the week. No notices to when they'll be working on the lines or how long service will be down. Just out right sucks!!! Rather get a hot spot from a mobile carrier and use it as my wifi.

Closed on Saturday so we drove all the way out to the Cox in Irvine to pick up a ContourTV box only to be told you have to stay ‘in your local Cox market’. So we drove all the way out for nothing. What a hassle! Yet another reason to cut the cord.

Really limited hours for working people. I rushed home from work on a Friday.to get there at 5:40 (it closes at 6, which is really convenient if you work in downtown LA). No one was there, the doors were locked and no one responded when I pounded on the window. Called the help line and the person was absolutely rude. Recommended that I try a different store and that I was wrong on the hours. Said the store was shutdown on Fridays and I offered to take a picture of the store hour sign and send it to him. He declined and said that the website says only open Mon-thurs. I pulled up the website and read it to him. How rude - he lied. Next thing I get is an email from Cox, with a cancellation of service. Still ten chat room to try to resolve issue. I've been in it for an hour. They apparently are trying to sell additional services to get a replacement box. Super frustrating. Unfortunately Cox has monopoly on the hill unless I go to direct tv. Was just advised that I can get a box if I pay $48 more a month to get an upgraded box. Cox sucks!

Hmm, tried to write a google review for Cox Communications, not this "authorized retailer". I can't find Google reviews for Cox Communications. Why is that? Has Cox somehow managed to suppress a 'reviewable listing' on Google (or blocked it) perhaps to prevent an onslaught of bad reviews...? If anyone has the url for the big company, Cox Communications, WITH Google reviews please provide it. Thanks

Worst internet provider in the history of internet providersSlow speeds ✅️Bad customer service ✅️Inadequate service technicians ✅️Excuses for slow internet speeds ✅️Zero internet reliability ✅️I don't really know how these people are operating here but I think they should consider go else whereAs someone who works from home and relies on good internet connection I would gladly say for anyone who is thinking of purchasing services from this company DONT purchase their services instead you should purchase Verizon wireless internet services they have reliable internet service with minimal interruptionsCox also lies about internet usage sending me notification that I exceeded my limits which is questionable considering I use Verizon internet for my work etc and I have their services active just for the miscellaneous usageThey require a year long contract so the no contract sign and no additional fees is an absolute lieA word of advice from me to cox ,consider going elsewhere because your services are terrible or consider listening to your customers concerns and working on improving your services before its too lateA word of advice to current and future/considering customersPlease note that you will be stuck with a year long contract of extremely slow internet speeds with extremely bad customer servicesYou may wanna consider Verizon wireless home internet or other providers if optionalIf you already have cox internet services you may wanna consider a legal approach for falsely advertising product or services or cancel and purchase the service elsewhereDisclaimerI do not represent Verizon or its subsidiaries in any way shape or form I am a paying customer with Verizon any mention of Verizon in this review was primarily My personal opinion of the company and its excellent services I was not influenced by or paid by Verizon to write this review I wrote it out of my own free will .

Went to pick up equipment during business hours, however no one was there. Other people said no one has been there all day. This is unacceptable. This is why people dislike cable.
