Amazing facility with the most thoughtful, dog loving team. My dog had a nerve impingement in her neck which resulted in her not being able to bear weight on her left leg. We found BARC and she was taken care of by the amazing staff here. They were so gentle with her and knowledgeable. She's done 8 sessions of physical therapy and acupuncture so far and she is able to walk and has recovered 90%!! The staff here is just wonderful and you can really tell that they care about your dog. My dog and all of us feel so comfortable here. We are so glad and grateful to have found BARC. We cannot thank them enough!

The staff at BARC know their stuff and are some of the best humans who live to help our four legged fur babies.

My senior pup, Jack, tore his CCL almost two months ago and our Vet recommended I take him to BARC. I'm so glad they opened a location in PV because it's much closer to me than the Torrance location. I love this team and always trust them with Jack. They're really great with him. The doctor did an excellent and thorough assessment of him and everyone on staff understands every parent's love for their fur baby. That's been the best part for me (personally, they're great with Jack's PT). I look forward to Jack's continued progress.

I brought my dog to the Rolling Hills office. She had been violently attacked by another dog. Her ear had been sewn back together by my family vet. She had no movement on the right side of her face due to a damaged facial nerve. Her ear, was pointed to 10 o’clock and had no movement, her eye did not blink or close, she drooled excessively, her jowl hung loosely and food would gather in her mouth and then fall out in the floor. Dr Scheff evaluated her and recommended acupuncture and a homeopathic treatment. I took Bella twice a week for a total of 11 appointments. Within three weeks we were noticing some movement. Each time we visited the office I was greeted by a very professional staff and two excellent veterinarians, either Dr Scheff or Dr Carroll. I am so happy to report that Bella has fully recovered. Her ear is erect and standing at 12 o’clock, her eye blinks and opens/closes, her jowl has tightened and she can eat normally. It’s actually somewhat miraculous how well she is doing in a very short period of time. I give BARC Rolling Hills 10 stars. Thanks to the great doctors and staff at this location. Also, the vet tech Tori was a huge help through the process. Thank yo BARC Rolling Hills!

Have had nothing but good experiences at both locations. My dogs (and I) have always been welcomed and cared for. I would highly recommend for any pet dealing with injury, arthritis, etc.

Nice, clean facility. Lots of parking. Staff is polite and well versed in what they are doing. I received good homework to help my older boy age gracefully.

I've been bringing my dog here for almost a year. Every time we come our dog gets so excited!!! They take such amazing care of him and he always feels awesome after his physical therapy, acupuncture and under water therapy. Highly recommend this place for alternate (non surgical) pet care.

So glad to have a local BARC! I no longer have to drive all the way to the torrance location (this location is close to my house). My dog is 12 and we are doing acupuncture, therapy, and laser to maintain mobility and manage pain. Arthritis is no fun at any age. Every here is so nice and dedicated to animals.

I'm so grateful to have found Beach Animal Rehab Center. Our dog had TPLO surgery and recovered remarkably for 6 months until one day he woke up, started limping and had lameness. My husband and i took him back to the vet who did his surgery and was told he's fine, rest him, and nothing showed on the X-rays. We were frustrated because we knew something was wrong (limping & lameness is not normal nor fine). We found BARC and started taking him. He's been doing the water treadmill, therapy, and Acupuncture. I have never met a more committed group of people dedicated to bringing animals back from injury and helping them achieve greater mobility. The staff is truly Amazing and actually care. Our dog now is on the road to recovery and i can't THANK them enough for all their dedication and hard work. Their love for animals truly shows. The second we pull into the parking lot he starts barking and can't wait to go in. Our dogs leg is getting stronger every day thanks to Amy, her staff, & Dr. Scheff.

Palos Verdes Peninsula is extremely fortunate to have the second location of Beach Animal Rehab Clinic (BARC) on the hill!Offering veterinarian evaluations and animal rehab of all kinds this business has been a wonderful find for us and our 11 year old lab Al. Al has arthritis which has hampered his great desire to chase squirrels and roll in the grass. However under the care of BARC and their licensed physical therapy and vet staff Al is back to moving more without constant pain. Offering physical therapy of all kinds, water therapy, acupuncture and more in a clean, sanitized environment BARC definitely gets 5 golden stars from us.
