Terrible company to deal with. They DO NOT stand behind their work. Installed flooring that started to peal up after just one year and refused to repair it unless I paid them to do it. Customer service was nice when they showed us the flooring they were going to install. But after it is installed and paid for it has been TERRIBLE.

About 1 1/2 years ago we had our home rebuilt after a fire. We hired a contractor to handle the rebuild. They had us contact Rugworks of Rohnert Park to pick out new flooring that was going to be installed. We meet with Rugworks at their Rohnert Park location to pick it out. At the time we didn't think anything about it when Rugworks had the flooring picked out already and showed it to us when we arrived. We figured he was giving us a great flooring option as we were replacing hardwood flooring throughout the house. Now looking back I believe the contractor and Rugworks made a back door deal where Rugworks tells us it's a great choice when really it was a cheap choice costing the contractor less to increase their profits. After it was installed we did a walk through with the contractor and we noticed when we walked on the floor it made a sound like it was not sticking and was coming up. The contractor told us they would have Rugworks come back and roll the floor to get it to stick. We were told they completed that and it was ok to move back into the house. That was back in September of 2022 when we moved back into the house. February 2024 I contacted the contractor because the floor was pealing up in a few places. The contractor told me I needed to contact Hernan at Rugworks for information on the flooring and warranty. I reached out to Hernan and set up a time and date for Rugworks to come out and look at the floor and to fine out what they could do to fix it. Rugworks came out and looked at the floor they were there for only about 5 minutes. When he was leaving he said he would get back to me on what they could do. After 2 days I received a call from Rugworks saying they would repair the floor but I would have to pay for the repairs because the damage was caused from high traffic. The damage they saw was in the dinning room under the dinning room/kitchen table so not a heavy traffic area. They refused to do any repairs or warranty their work unless I paid them. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they replied to my complaint with lies and the BBB closed my complaint. I guess my next step is Small Claims Court where they have been take before for similar claims and lost. BUYER BEWARE OF COMPANIES LIKE THIS!!!

We live in a manufactured home which means it doesn't have a solid foundation - and having had a solid foundation home in the past we were leery of installing a luxury vinyl floor in our home. We've had Luxury Vinyl Flooring in our kitchen for 4 years - no problem at all, even though our home shifts with the seasons. Now, we have another brand of LVF in our living/dining room which is truly beautiful. Installation was quick, and the outcome is amazing! All is well working with Rugworks, specifically with their wonderful installation team and their professional team who have an infinite amount of patience in working with their client. Kudos to Jessica and Jeff.

Rug Works in Rohnert Park is a quality business with a friendly and professional staff! We needed sheet vinyl for a bathroom in a rental property. They have some beautiful ones in stock. Plus they have every flooring option imaginable too. We will definitely return for our other flooring needs.

I find their staff to be helpful, available and most importantly, there! So many stores nowadays don't have any staff available. rug works people are available and check in with you in a non pestering way. I like that a lot.

I own a 50 year old house and a rental. Rugworks installed laminate flooring in both houses. With one exception I was very happy. NOT NOW. The first floor they installed was my living room, dining room, and hall. This was in late 2015. in approx. 2019 I noticed warping of the planks in the back of my house. I let it go. Then the warping really took off to where every plank in the kitchen, livingroom and hallway was warped. I paid Rugworks approx. $6500 for this floor. I went to them because they were highly recommended. I was not looking for the best deal I was looking for a sturdy floor. Rugworks offered me $1500 in materials and I would have to pay for installation AGAIN, approximately $4500. The $1500 was in the form of a credit from the manufacturers so Rugworks wasn't out any money however I get to pay $9000 for installation. Rugworks would not budge. They told me there was a 2 year manufacturers warranty and I waited too long. After much back and forth and with no willingness to compromise I sued in small claims. In small claims Jeff told me that any warranty was on the flooring webcite and Rugworks did not have to provide it. I was NOT told of any warranty or I certainly would have acted sooner. The contractor who replaced this floor said I should have been given the warranty and not just told to go to the webcite. I sued and won in Small Claims. This was in March 2022. Rugworks never paid and I filed a lien on the real property of the business and owner. After waiting about 5 months with no payment I started calling Jon Sevenau. He could give lessons on what NOT TO DO with unhappy customers. He kept threatening me with attorneys. I would gladly have talked to them so they could explain to him how this works. I finally got paid my $6500 but there were still costs after judgement I was entitled to: interest, recording fees, notary fees, etc. totalling about $350. I could have filed paperwork in the court but instead sent Jon a letter. Jon's response was an irate call to me up with the following:1) he has filed a lien against me. How? He doesn't have a judgment 2)his attorney was going to have law enforcement come after me. All of the Sonoma County law officers were going to drop their murders, rapes, etc. to come after me. So far, nothing. 3)he was filing a restraining order against me. Why would I care? I never want to see them again, but OK. 4)He finally said "It's on". Now, he was on speakerphone and my friend/hairdresser listened in with me. I am a 72 year old woman. This sounds like elder abuse. If he calls back, I will be reporting him. So far I haven't received the $350.
