This place made me and my friend feel welcomed. The adoption fee is reasonable and more than that we saw a organized, clean lovely environment for the animals. Also, staff is super friendly and kind and that was what really told us we were in the right place. Thanks to the staff and volunteers that make this place so nice. Also, they have people that speak Spanish as well! I will recommend this place for sure!

I saw a dog that I would like to adopt on their website, I called to ask about an appointment she said I didn't need one today she asked about the dig I was interested in I told her hus name Jairo she.looked him up told me all about him. Asked some questions about me and my household. I asked if I could come today she said yes absolutely and she would see me soon. I drove 22 miles to the shelter and when I walked in identified myself and she said oh sorry that dog is on a medical hold. I asked if that meant I couldn't even meet him and another lady said " that means he is sedated on the vets table right now" and then she said here why don't you look at some other dogs???? What the heck people!!!

We went and adopted our new kitty. The people working there are so nice. They made the process very easy for us.
And we brought home Gizmo!

I used to volunteer here and I loved it! It's the best animal shelter FOR the animals in my opinion. The people are wonderful, I only wish I had the time to still volunteer. I would recommend it whole heartedly.

The staff comes off as condescending to people. I went there for various services and have to repeat myself because staff are failing to listen or other staff jumping in the conversation which confused things more and I don't need a long drawn out earful about something I am not asking about.

A really great hard working group of people that love animals. Went in for a microchip and was pleased that they came outside to take care of it. Two people were inside adopting separately and even thought it was a zoo, they had it under control.

This is an overall amazing adoption center. I had a wonderful experience from walking in the door, filling an application, picking out the most perfect kitten and the follow up from the facility afterwards on how things were doing. Our family is complete with this nugget. She's everything we were looking for!

The employees and volunteers are doing a great job taking care of our pet family's. I had to surrender my dog . The staff was non judgemental and kind towards me and my dog. It was very sad for me but I just couldn't handle her high energy. She will receive leash training by experienced person and then she will be up for adoption. I know she will be a wonderful pet for the right person or family. I am very thankful we have such a wonderful animal shelter in Rohnert Park/ Cotati.

Where to begin well let's start with my cat missing on 10/1/22 and then me calling the shelter and them telling me they remember me and my cat because he was neutered there and they remember the high quality feathered cat toys that I make and donated to the shelter they said he was not there but now and every night from the time I got home I would walk the neighborhood surrounding mine knocking on doors and talking to people about him being missing and this is what makes me so mad is I see that they have him and have had him since the day he was missing I am livid at these incompetent fools of this shelter and they have not heard the last of me I will be staging protests to bring awareness to everyone about the lack of responsibility and negligence for not contacting me the day they picked him up and he is chipped and on the message it said that A 31-81 was chipped and that they were trying to contact the owner which is me! At the time he disappeared the streets were being paved and Tigg doesn't like a lot of noise so he most likely was just trying to get away from the noise and odors of diesel fuel and tack oil and ended up 2 miles from home where he was found in some bushes by Panera Tigg never left the neighborhood where he lives until that day and because he was such a cutie and a love bug he could of been captured by someone planning to keep him and possibly freaked out once someone started driving away with him so they let him out of the vehicle and he ran away to the area he was found So really the only thing that I have good to say about this place is they have a no kill policy however I have no doubt in my mind that these fools would not contact me and would adopt my cat to someone because they are LAME! I will be at the shelter today after I get off work and they better not give me any problems or cause me anymore stress or BS about not having an appointment I have put this shelter on a negative blast in social media and when I go live on my streaming channel I will be discussing with my audience how stupid these people really are Rohnert Park Animal shelter you suck and everyone should know that

I volunteer at this shelter. I working with the kitties right now. There are so many cuties. I wish I could take them all. The staff are all very attentive and care so much about the animals. They have dogs, rabbits a hamster and of course kittens and cats. All the animals are loved and made sure the information about them is available so there is a good match. So come and get your next fur buddy
