I must have the pickiest chocolate lab when it comes to her diet. Had nothing but questions, each and everyone was answered and I left with great advice and new food which my lab loved. I will be coming back here every time now

I just moved to Rohnert Park and wanted to find a local pet store. Puny Paws is close by so I stopped in. It's a cute little shop that's currently undergoing renovations, so we got personal concierge service at the window the employee/owner (not sure) helped us pick out a few products for our dog, including a chew that she loves! We were impressed that they don't carry rawhide since it's not the best option for dogs. You can tell she really cares about animals and her customers. This is our new go-to pet store!

This shop has saved my sanity! We added two Savannah cats to our family last February -- purebreds, used to a homemade raw diet. I was just starting to explore the options available when we went into lockdown in mid-March; I still had not found a raw food that they would eat consistently. I heard from someone that this store was under new ownership and that it stocked more than things for small dogs. Wow! The owner knows a LOT about food for cats as well as dogs, and she takes picky eaters as a challenge. She helped me find a raw food that is sustainable, organic, affordable, local and (best part!) the cats loved it. She has also ordered supplements that they needed, and when they went through another picky phase recently, she was very helpful with ideas to get them eating again. I'm happy to be able to enthusiastically support a local business where I get such great customer service and high quality products for my pets.

I've had VERY good service from the new owner. After 49er pet closed I went online for things and bought things I "thought" looked good, but had poor results. I sent by messenger Puny Paws what I was using and what changes I've been seeing. She was polite, noted she isn't a fan of the line I was using and gave me her recommendations which have worked for months, appreciated the quick feedback. Another time I again messaged, looking for a leash to use while riding my bike with our Husky. She gave me 2 options, I for walking, one for biking and they have been awesome. Note, both times I met at the business side entrance, each transaction took no time at all.

I couldn’t have found a better person to turn the reins over and sell the store to. Andriana has done everything and more that I always had visions of. She’s kept our dream alive and improved on it all. So proud of her!!!

Avoid this place like COVID! set out to get some food and treats for my fur babies. I thought I would give Puny Paws a shot. I wanted to shop local because local businesses are struggling with COVID and all. What a mistake that was! Upon arrival I met Sue, I assume she is the manager or owner. While loading up the Mercedes she made some kind of comment about White privilege . At first I was shocked but ignored her and continued to load the car to leave. Then she starts talking about BLM and continues on about my white privilege. I told her I worked for everything I own and she just kept on going on about it. I should have asked for a refund on my purchase but I just wanted to go. I'll never go back to this store. I guess that's what happens when you try to support locals.

Its time for an update. My last review was in 2012! I come and shop for my dogs once or twice a year and always leave with more than they need. This happens every year. I lived in San Francisco for years and rarely traveled to Rohnert Park but always made an effort to stop in to restock on treats and new harnesses. Now I live even further in Discovery Bay but still stop in. There's a new owner now and she is just as knowledgeable as Sue was. We will definitely continue to stop by and shop.

Great dog food store. Owner is so knowledgable about nutrition and quality for dogs and her product lines, she really knows the latest research and that makes it so helpful to find just the right food for my picky poodles! Highly recommend if you want to support a small, woman owned, local business.

Andriana offered to have my dog food delivered to me in Santa Rosa during the Coronavirus shut in at no additional cost. What service! Savvy business owner who is stepping it up for her customers. Very impressed! (No, I couldn’t order it from another source online. It’s Essence brand, kind of new, very high in protein and high quality.) Thank you Andriana!

Finn loves 'the bone store!' He really loves being remembered & all the choices for large dogs. All I have to do is ask him "Do you want to go to the bone store..." Always super helpful & friendly
