We recently had Belfore Moving & Storage move our office from Novato to Petaluma.. This was done on a short notice as we were able to move to the new facility just prior starting a large project.
Belfore was very efficient and timely and a very fair cost.

If you read all the negative reviews, the issue is with Craig Belfor. I would caution using Belfor Moving which is unfortunate because some of his workers are hard working but the owner, Craig Belfor is an unethical business owner. I've used his company twice and had issues with the first move but decided to give them another try and I'm paying for it. Save yourself the headache and go with a reputable moving company in Sonoma County. There are many out there. Update: Craig Belfor tried to use my $437 credit to pay for the reassembly cost that his son promised was part of the reassembly services. When I told him I wanted the credit refunded and reassembly was included as part of the cost , he quickly pivoted his story when I said I would take this up with the corporate office. He then hand wrote $6.96 on the final invoice after the move was completed, and claimed it was an easy $6.96 that I declined and I needed to file a claim. He's running a very shady operation. National Van Lines called me immediately when they found out and apologized for Craig Belfor's unethical business practice. No claim was ever needed. National Van lines immediately sent someone out to reassemble the grandfather clock at no cost and credited back the excess funds. They told me I would never have to work with Craig Belfor again. Again, if you are looking for a reputable, truth worthy mover in Sonoma County, look elsewhere. Craig likes to respond to every negative review and attack the customer and twist the story. Driver was great, National Van Lines is great, just use a different agent that works with National Van Lines.

I scheduled my move from Rohnert Park to Petaluma a month before the move date. Alex sent me all the paperwork and we did a video tour of my apartment so the estimate could be accurate. I paid a large deposit on my credit card. The contract was signed. I thought everything was in order.A few days before the move, I contacted Alex and asked what time the movers would be there. He said between 8 and 8:30 am.The day of the move, I waited and waited. Finally I called Alex at 9 and asked for the eta. He did not call me back, but his father did. He said there was a mistake and my move was not on his google calendar! I nearly had a heart attack! Yelling ensued. Lawsuits were mentioned. Mr. Belfor said he would contact his employees, who had been given the day off, and ask if they would be willing to come in and move me. 30 minutes later, he called back and said they would be there later that morning and do the move. The guys showed up at 11, they were very nice and they worked until 7 pm moving me in. It wasn't their fault that management was so incompetent. When I told Mr. Belfor that I would be giving him a very bad review, he said go ahead that he gets all the time and he doesn't care. So, here it is. My advice to anyone looking for a moving company, DO NOT, DO NOT, use Belfor Moving.

Belfor Moving moved us twice - once from our condo to our house and then 8 years later to a new state. We have lots of antique clocks and a piano - everything arrived on time and unbroken! Highly recommend!

I had a great experience with Moving. They moved us out of our home into a POD during a remodel. They then moved us back into the house 6 weeks later. They were on time, efficient, very professional. They accommodated our schedule, even when we had to make a change. I definitely would recommend them based on our experience.

Best moving experience I have ever had! Craig, the owner was very responsive and his crew was nails. They were fast, thorough, kind, funny and very professional. Moving is never fun or an enjoyable experience but this move was easy breezy! I’m a life long customer now!

Belfor Moving of Novato CA moved my family from California to Louisiana. They picked up our possessions from 2 locations and stored them for a few days. I cannot thank them enough. Their professional care, during a stressful journey was excellent. Everything arrived in perfect condition within minutes of a typical Louisiana downpour. Great people and even greater move. I would recommend them 1000%.

Craig's crew packed and moved us out of our house for a remodeling project, then back in when it was completed. They were friendly, professional and expert at handling all of our furniture and breakables. Highly recommend them!

I'm not sure what happened with Belfor Moving company, who packed and delivered my friend's household less than a mile away. My friend requested that one of the men not to pack some items was packed, not communicated to the other crew members. We unpacked to find broken lamps and smashed lamp shades, only one lamp of a pair, boxes incorrectly labeled found in wrong areas, or thrown into the garage. These are some of the trouble experienced with the business of pack and move. Now, the owner refuses to discuss or look at the damage and lost items. Isolation or smaller labor pool, maybe. My suggestion is to look all your choices and get clear on policies, etc.

I've used Belfor Moving for 7-8 moves over the last 30 years. They've done both my home and my business and I've never had a bad experience. Honest, hardworking, friendly and capable. I highly recommend them.
