“The BIGGEST shout-out goes to Rocco Marcconi! I honestly had COMPLETLY lost any hope in dealerships. But I'm so glad that God got me to meet Special Finance Manager Rocco Marconni at Avery Greene Honda. Previously, my abusive ex-husband had COMPLETLY screwed up my credit, and even though i've been trying to build my credit, it's going with a speed of a snail. And within a span of 2 or 3 weeks, I had gone to at least 9 dealerships, and LITERALLY had no luck in getting approved ANYWHERE. I'm a single mother of 2 teen kids, and I have to commute pretty far for my work, and I needed a vehicle BAD! But Rocco worked his butt off and got me approved for....a....wait for it.....A 2019 AUDI Q5 PERMIUM?!! I mean, I've NEVER dreamt of getting driving an Audi!! But Rocco got me approved and made sure I have an EXTREMELY RELIABLE car, on top of that, he gave me SO MUCH good advice about fixing my credit. I can not thank him enough for doing this. I REALLY wish that good karma and good blessings surrounding him and his family. Because you will agree with me that you CAN NOT find people like Rocco Marcconi. I can not forget how much disappointed I was getting and was so disheartened and sad about not being able to get approved ANYWHERE. After meeting Rocco and how he put all he had to help people in a tough spot like me, it ALL MADE SENSE THEN, because God wanted me to find Rocco and wanted him to have the privilege of helping, instead of all other salespeople and dealerships, who just care about how much money they'll be making out of us. “From the moment I walked in Rodriguez Auto Body and Paint shop I was treated with courtesy, professionalism and most importantly with kindness. I needed my recently replaced hood and right fender on my trustworthy old Toyota RAV 4 painted. Able Rodriguez gave me a fair quote and offered me a ride to and from home. My Toyota was ready in two days as promised. In addition to a perfect paint job, Able threw in a few surprises by also painting the front passenger door, the top fading strip on the backdoor, and repairing and painting the dented left fender. Did an estimate after walking in, unlike many body shops which require an appointment. Very nice people and accommodating. Even dropped me off to my place close by and dropped off my car when it was done with repairs. I had a Mercedes c43 AMG repaired. Would definitely recommend.”

While they unfortunately completely refuse to deal with insurance, the owner is very honest and transparent about pricing and what type of work needs to be done based upon budget. Jolene, the Store Manager did a very great job in assisting me with removing & installing my headlight beam on my Dodge Dart 2016 car. She went through the trouble of figuring out how to remove & install the headlight for me.
I had previously gone to O'Reilly’s (Pinole) where 3 men were in the store & they were hesitant to help & said “We don’t usually do that.”
2 of them went out to “try” to help but showed no effort. They gave up very easily. I asked for my money back & took my money elsewhere.
It’s embarrassing that 2 men “tried” & weren’t successful. IT TOOK A WOMAN AT THEIR COMPETITION STORE TO BE SUCCESSFUL. Jolene at AutoZone in Pinole was very patient and helpful. She Strived to go above & beyond! Very appreciative ?”
“I spent some time shopping around for a new car, and it was frustrating dealing with subpar sales reps who seemed more like poorly trained SDRs than car experts. With a small garage, I often asked about the car's dimensions, only to be met with blank stares as they fumbled with their phones to Google the information. Some didn’t even know how to fold the seats properly.
Hilltop Ford was a refreshing change. When I called, Terrence answered and casually asked when I could come in instead of pressing for my email and number to bombard me with sales emails. Terrence was knowledgeable about the cars and their value, and most importantly, he understood what I was looking for in a vehicle without trying to oversell me.
I also had a great conversation with the finance manager, who took the time to discuss the economics of the deal and treated me with respect. The used car manager was fair and genuinely listened to my reasoning for the trade-in price I was aiming for.
Overall, the experience couldn’t have been better, and I’m likely to buy my next car here.”
