Zero stars. Frequent outages and stability issues. Very shady business practices with billing. The reps have attitude and leaves you with an awkward sense of "customer service". The cable business model has random rates for "promos" and if you disconnect service, you are given "lower rates". Why don't they just give low rates in the 1st place. The advert sais "Astound Broadband is the #1 Cable ISP" 9 years in a row w/ "reliability of connection"... unfortunately, not in Roseville/Rocklin/Lincoln.

This has nothing to do with this location. The wifi service is horrible. I swear that the wifi goes out every single evening. You're better off getting your internet from somebody else.

ABSOLUTE worst internet service. Barely functions, customer support is not helpful and requires you to pay for a technician to come out and resolve the issue. Unreported outages constantly and lack of accountability.

If I could give zero stars, I would! I’m not sure what happened but starting in June 2023, our service went to garbage. WiFi constantly dropping, have to reboot it multiple times a day. We had multiple people come out over the past few months. Every employee said a different problem each time. I think by the 5th visit, It appeared to be fixed for a month and now back to the same problem. We should be getting a credit for all the issues we have had since June. We are currently looking for a new provider.

Service was fine. People who came out and installed it were helpful. They make you drop off the wifi box at their office when you're done which is kind of inconvenient. the 1800 number is horrible. Try their text line it's much better.

They are the absolute worst company. I can’t believe they are still in business. When wave became astound, the price more than doubled and the quality went down the drain. Worse, the customer service went from great to down right despicable.

Got the best internet when it was $75, then suddenly, and without warning, it shot up to $120$120 for mediocre internet where my download speeds instead of being what I was paying for ended up being 60-100 mbps. And that was with my consoles/PC being hard wired. Insane.Switched to Verizon for $25 a month for the same speeds I was getting at $120 a month.

I called Astound to upgrade my services. I was on hold for over 2 hours. I created an order for the upgrade via the website which was confirmed. The next day I received an email referencing the transaction number explaining that because I was an existing customer I would have to reach out to Customer Service!!!! I finally reached someone TODAY - 4 days later . . . only to be told the order did not exist! I have the emails to prove I did place the order! I agree with the other comments . . . the services and the connections are extremely poor. But the customer service is nonexistent. I will be reaching out to a different carrier.

Very inconsistent service. Don't expect to be offered anything for customer loyalty if you threaten to cancel due to poor internet.

After years of them raising the price on me to the point where I could not no longer afford it I went to Verizon for $25 a month. I called to stop service with astound and the gentleman who took my call did not explain anything about having to return the equipment. And then I get charged and automatically deducted from my account a charge for not returning the equipment. No one told me I needed to return it so I threw it away and now they will not reverse the charge. Even though they have record of the gentleman not telling me anything about the return of equipment they still won't take responsibility for their mistake. I will never get any service from astound again and I don't suggest anybody else do it either
