“This is just a wonderful store!!! A true treasure find! My daughter and I started shopping there when she was just a little over 1 year old. I cannot say enough of good things about everything - their amazing, friendly and super helpful staff, assortment of toys, both educational and fun (they have cool brands like Djeco, Usborne books, and other brands that cannot be easily found in the US), snacks, books, I mean you name it! And another cool thing is that every Friday they have a reading and fun art project to do! Be sure to ask their monthly calendar with all the fun updates so you don’t miss it.”

They have all kinds of cool stuff ranging from action figures, games, puzzles, educational toys, some books, and outside/pool toys. I could kill some serious time in there. “I remember a time when going to A-1 Roseville felt like a huge adventure. We mainly stuck to A-1 Auburn for our nerdom needs, though it was smaller in tables, it was huge in inventory and it was close and had great staff. I popped by this location for a quick game of Lorcana. This shop is favored for the many tables available for free play or organized games. It has lots of inventory too if youre interested in comics, figurines, and a million games to choose from. A-1 has become a standard for Sacramento CCG players and has even more locations. Proud to see them grow and will stop by all of the locations I hope.”

“My wife got a gift card to the Lakeshore Learning Store which was great as she just transitioned as a pre-school teacher at a new school, so there is a shortage of supplies and some supplies that was ordered had not come in yet. This store is know by teachers for educational supplies, tools, toys, etc. browsing through the store with my wife, it seems like most of the stuff geared towards elementary school kids, particularly the younger kids. There is seems to be a nice selection of items and educational aids throughout the store. My wife was able to easily spend the $50 gift card and then about $38 on top of that. If you sign up for their email list, they will give you a free store branded reusable bag. The employees seem very nice. It was a pleasant store to shop in. I'm sure my wife will want to come back sometime in the near future to purchase more stuff. We live closer to Walnut Creek, so next time, we may try going to that location to see if there are more items not available at this store.”

“This is a very nicely stocked game store. Word games like Scrabble and Quiddler. Outdoor games and toys like Frisbee, Nerf Football, Ring Toss, and Hacky Sacks. RPGs like D&D 5E, Pathfinder/Starfinder, Star Wars, and the World of Darkness games. Miniatures and pain supplies. Card and Board Games like Catan, King of Tokyo, Exploding Kittens, and Talisman. Very well stocked indeed. They even have a large library of open games that you can play on their game tables for a small fee.”

“This was my first time in the particular 5 Below in Roseville Ca. I have to say it was a cut above the one I used to patronize. Well stocked and surprisingly neat, orderly, and organized...even on Black Friday.Most importantly, the staff were terrific, even amidst the Christmas shopping chaos. Id like to specifically call attention to staff member, Ryan Collins with my genuine thanks for his help, and for making my grand daughter feel special. We will definitely be back.”

“My 2 boys and I frequent the joint almost weekly. Always find amusing items we didn't know we were looking for along with exactly what we were actually looking for. Lots of vinyl, tons of collectors toys, gaming stuff, interesting used clothing, endless nostalgia. Several employees are super helpful and welcoming ( this counts for a lot these days! ) This establishment is suitable for people of any age, something for everyone. Make sure you have extra time to spend, there's a ton of stuff to go through!”

“This bookstore doesn't have as many books as other locations but they do have a great selection. Half this store is a restaurant and there's a Starbucks inside. When you first walk in, it's all tables with popular books. There's one table with Barnes and Noble exclusive editions. These are usually hardback classics with golden edges on the pages. They sell vinyls here too. They also have a Harry Potter table with merchandise. Their children's section has a seat for reading and lots of toys for sale. To the right of the shop are the bathrooms and water fountain. The cafe is on the right side too. This shop have much more space than other locations, making it feel less cramped. Some areas of the bookstore have so much space, such as the manga section.”

“Took my daughter to this location on Black Friday (It was a super packed so I don't recommend going on Black Friday in the future!) She had never been and had been begging for years to go. She loves stuffed animals! So if you have a child who absolutely loves stuffed animals, this is a great unique experience for them to build their own character. I appreciate that the workers took time with each child to build each animal. That made it special. You get to pick out a little cloth heart and put it inside your character for free. They have walls and walls of clothing and accessories for the characters, which is where they really get you. It's hard to walk out without getting clothing and accessories. Make sure to sign up for the rewards program so you can earn points.”

“We visited Toy Shack a week ago and sent our son back here to complete the purchase of a Benz toy car for our granddaughter. Since my son could not transport the toy car himself, I had called in to confirm picking up of the car. A very nice gentleman had let us know that the car would be built and ready to be picked up that same night, we showed up the following evening. Will helped us upon picking up the car. Despite all the reviews we read, I must say that Will was very funny, very pleasant to work with. He’s customer oriented and very professional. He took the time to explain the instructions to us and loaded the car for us which was nearly 100lbs.We personally think people need to give this Toy Shack more chance and understand that items in this store are not cheap, very good quality and we all know how kids get, they don’t know any better and get overly excited and want to touch and move everything. In the event the kids' tips something over or breaks something, people just walk away so we understand the signs in the store or if they must tell parents not to let the kids touch the expensive products in the store, I’m sure they have taken lost due to mishaps from customer’s children.Thank you Will! Our granddaughter will be super excited to ride her new Benz and with weight limit of 130lbs, she’ll be riding it till she’s at least 6yo. ?”
