Horrible application process. Takes 3+ weeks just to get your application reviewed.

Nice place to live. Well cared for by the management. Have made major improvements since I’ve lived here. Periodically show’s resident how important they are and does special things as breakfast on the go, bbq on a Saturday afternoon etc.

Apartment #1303 at this complex is loud and noisey. Management can you look into it. Thanks. Surrounding neighbors.

First I want to say that the staffs here are nice to talk to.However, my problem is with the policies. I was told the patio cannot be used as storage and all of my neatly placed boxes have to be removed (even tho they have been there for quiet sometime now). I called and asked a question if it’s purely for visual purposes that the patio cannot have any items other than patio specific furnitures in sight. The reason I ask is because I do not believe units on the second floor would be inspected and noted. This seems rather unfair. I have no problem following rules and will remove all of my boxes. By posting here maybe I’ll get a more clear answer:)

I am extremely disappointed with the way the assist manager welcome the new residents, she is absolutely rude and so not welcoming. The place is NOT cheap and to be treated as a bother is unacceptable. The day we were moving in she created such a chaos about the rental insurance, it was little 1 phone call to add a letter to the name spelled wrong. Instead of facilitating and helping us the residents she wanted to cancel the contract THE DAY OF MOVING when everything was APPROVED already! I was absolutely shocked with her lack of professionalism and sympathy. We corrected the name in like (2 min) and was able to move in. Than 1 month later we had a friend from Las Vegas come to visit us for 2 days (1 night - 2 days) he rented a car and drove 8 hours to visit us. Upon arrival he was welcome by the same person with a note on his car saying that the registration was expired and he needed to move the car out of there the car was a RENTAL and had registration up to date!!! Absolutely insane.I would ABSOLUTELY love to be contacted by the own or her portfolio manager, I worked with property management for 6 years and have never seen anything like that - customer service ZERO - professionalism ZERO. If you ever come to this property look for whoever but run from DELZIE MIMS!

I called the admin office in sunset summit September 21,2022. I called 7 times in a row until someone picked up. When Jodi answered we talked about my inquiry since i am about to renew my lease. When were about to end the call, Jodi told me not to call excessively because she was on a video call and gets distracted. Now i am wondering why Jodi felt the need to reprimand me wherein it is part of her job to provide service to her customers? As far as i know i am still a tenant on this apartment and i was inquiring very graciously.I would like to remind Jodi that i am not her direct report to reprimand. There is a big difference between suggestion and a reprimand. The audacity of her to even tell me that .I called 7 times because I had experienced when i left a vm or send an email it took them a few days to reply. And even they did take a few days to return the call, they did not even hear any rude comments or snide remarks from me. I was understanding because they might be busy. And if Jodi is having a hard time managing incoming calls, additional staff maybe required so she will have help in managing them. And now i am wondering how Jodi handles multiple phone inquiry if there are a number people calling in their office at once. It is improper of her to criticize my choice to call if they fail to pick up the phone.I hope its not because i have the accent, that is why i was treated this way. And i fear since i still live in this complex that there wont be any retaliation since i speak and post this unfortunate experience

We had a great view, but creepy homeless started camping downhill. Some managers try to help, but problems may not get resolved. They may show you a model apartment, and then you may get an old, ratty carpet like we did which irritated my feet; we offered to pitch in for new, but no deal, so we bought a bunch of sheets to put on the floor (a pain to vacuum and clean), but after moving out they charged us high cleaning fees! We actually had to move out for health reasons, because they admitted to spraying Chlorine Dioxide and other chemicals downstairs, which made our apt smell like a hot tub- my throat was raw and my kid was coughing several nights. Patch of dead grass in front of stairs was a stinky dog toilet for about a year, and their employee would smoke near my car on a daily basis, and leave trash outside nightly for bugs, although residents were told by mgmt not to. I tried to be quiet, but the tub was not set with mud, so it creaked loudly, and woke up my violent neighbors. Mgmt was remodeling our balcony for about half a year, with piles of lumber around the sidewalk, and even old boards with nails sticking up out of them on grass (hazard.) Neighbor vendors played very loud music 3 times in a row, but management did not do anything, and when I asked the 4th vendor downstairs of my unit to turn down the party music while my kid was napping, he actually ran out of the apartment and assaulted me from behind knocking me off my feet. It was nice that pool is open all year. Glad to be gone.

We lived here for 9 months and our cars were broken into twice. The management team had zero concerns. Don't expect to get your deposit back either. They wrote down everything when we moved out, including "pots and pan scratches in cabinet", which were there when we moved in. Take pictures of EVERYTHING before you move in. They plan on cleaning carpets and painting no matter what so you will owe them money. Make sure you clean EVERYTHING when you move in, I wiped down the side of the cabinets in the bathroom and they were covered in urine. They have these fruiting tress all over the complex, so you our bound to have a spot or two on your carpet.

Delzie and Jodie are rude and unprofessional. We had a mold problem due to the dryer hose not being connected properly and a crooked sliding glass door that let air in constantly. We were blamed for the mold and management stated it was clear we were not following the mold agenda. The only solution was buying a $150 dehumidifier that we had to run 24/7 to help. We were not reimbursed and they did not offer to assist with the rise in cost due to running the dehumidifier so much.Upon moving out the man who completed our final inspection said that he had never seen an apartment so clean when someone was moving out. My wife and I spent hours cleaning. We still did not receive our deposit back and were charged an additional $200 for cleaning and paint. Lastly there are large dogs all over the complex and although they are there as soon as we got a dog we were asked to leave or get rid of the dog because they have an unwritten rule about age/size restrictions for dogs. 0/10 recommend

The office staff is always friendly and takes care of any request as soon as humanly possible. Some things I ask for I doubt would get the response I get at Sunset Summit. Maintenance staff has also been great. I have lived here for about 12 years, and I have had extremely positive experiences the entire time I've made Sunset Summit my home.

I have lived at Sunset for almost 7 months and let me just say...this is the best apartment i've ever lived in. The staff is friendly and quick to address any of my issues and concerns. The apartment is great quality for a great price! They even have awesome events for the residents. For example, they just had a big resident BBQ!

Ladies in the office were annoying, neighbors were even more annoying. Roaches and silverfish everywhere. Everyone was very rude and had nothing to do except complain and complain. The apartment complex I’m in now is so much nicer with better people. Look elsewhere maybe the apartments across the street ??

This place sucks. The staff are so bad they treat you bad. It is so expensive. There is no good view. The pool not clean. The gym too small. The spa is broken now for 3 months and more. Not responsive, poor value, not professional. I do not recommend this place.

We currently live here and love it. The minor maintenance we’ve needed has been completed within a day of putting the request in! Plus, the staff are really friendly and helpful
