This was a sad trip for me. However, the staff at the hotel made me feel safe, welcome, and well cared for. They checked up on me to make sure that I was ok due to my mental state when I arrived. By the time I woke up on my first morning there I was feeling a bit refreshed and actually glad that I picked a place off set from the family members I came to drop off in California. Family issues can be the most challenging to deal with. Kindness from strangers has amazing healing power.
Rooms: Suite style room with kitchen. I had a 2-eye stove top and dishwasher. It's more of an extended stay location. I loved the vibe. Very open flow and feel.
Nearby activities: So much to do, eat, and enjoy. Go out and explore! Shops and gaming. Fire and Ice game shop was awesome!
Safety: Very safe!
Walkability: While I was there it was extremely hot so no walking. However, do take advantage of the indoor pool! That was amazing!
Food & drinks: Breakfast is so nice! Wednesday social and snacks were delicious. I'm not a big drinker but they did offer wine and beer .
Noteworthy details: All the front staff were great. They were helpful, friendly, and local enough to direct me to good places to eat and enjoy my time.

What a joke I have stayed in the past was very pleased. Called because of my last time being great, because I have an emergency situation trying to get my family out of and they call over 300 a night a good deal for an extended stay of a month. Found houses on another site whole houses for cheaper, will be booking there.

We were on 3rd floor. We could hear the upstairs guest walking around.
It was noisy
and we didn't get much sleep.
The room was really nice..and the staff were great!
We are super disappointed because we thought it would be a great place to stay if Thunder Valley is full.

Hotel is getting very dated. Overall stay was good. Nice staff and typical breakfast items. Pool area not lit up properly. Plus, found some mess near Jacuzzi. The staff is just not paying attention to details. Things are getting worn out here and need to be cleaned and updated.

OUTRAGEOUSly mismanaged IHG location. My toddler was assaulted by a housekeeper Cecillia and her date attempted to intimidate us. While we had waited to report to management Miss Dean/ Cassidy M. Initially, about disrupting Cecillia’s attempt to burglarize our room. As we loaded our belongings in our car during check out from our previous reservation. In addition, following up the ongoing conversation we began with this manager (Cassidy) before she had left on vacation. Regarding further discrepancies in Cecillia job performance. Leading to those suspicions verified.
These are dangerous people driven by personal interests NOT aligned with hospitality, safe lodging, or the bare minimum of advertised services.
It’s taken some time for me to post my experience, since February and March 2024 because of the traumatic realization AFTER the FACT that my child -rather all of us were in danger. I don’t just assume because this person was caught stealing they would also be capable of escalating to unthinkable measures.
I’ve sobbed and cried, hiding from my child the agony that he was closer to death then he will ever know. While my son went on innocently entertaining himself as children do -Cecilia tied a string from the treadmill twice around my 3 year old neck -with a knot at the end rendering it impossible for him to slip out of. Like a dog. My son let out a cry “MO…” could not finish the cry for help as the pressure on his throat was too great, cutting off the last of his plea. I respond immediately, lifting him, alleviating the pressure, allowing him breath, clenching his body so as keep him from the natural responses. The situation was controlled enough to glance around the room at the voice that for the first time during our stay spoke english, saying, “Oh my God.” as if playing pretend alarmed, then Cecilia exited the room quickly. I examined the obstacle around my son's throat and found I was not able to slide it over his head. Upon further inspection, due to a simple knot tied, to my untrained eye, twice, like a shoe tie.
4/19/2024I am deeply hurt by our stay with Stay Bridge Suites Rocklin. I can honestly say, I have never experienced a thing like this. I have been traveling and have lodged in a multitude of places across our country. Some places are more hospitable than others. Some with turbulence due to the changing times. However, this experience is difficult to commit to words and deserves a testimony.
This carelessly escalated unchecked. It’s nearly pointless to state how routine “light touch” cleaning was done halfway. Or all together skipped, contrary to documentation, and sorted out on our own. But so much and so often? As a guest who paid for weeks, began to wonder how the tab on my son's suitcase came to be detached. Among the other previously discussed discrepancies.
What is the justification for not handling the small instances of mistreatment towards guests before employees become more entitled than the guest(s)?
Our last weekend there. My son had an accident during the night. The need for bedding was expressed to Rod at 9 o’clock in the morning! 8+hours later, long after dark, I’m sitting up with my toddler still waiting. A young woman, pulling a double shift at the front desk. After all the other staff have gone home and she is tasked with digging around in unfamiliar places, picking up the slack for Rod.
The complimentary laundry facilities. We shared with your renovation laborers. Doing their laundry during the work day hanging out in there. It’s only a little scary, that the detectors and ceiling fixtures not in the renovation process are taped over and the window screen damaged w/ residue telling a clear story of smoking happening in there.
More still to detail yet. Beyond concern of MS-13 gang activity.
I am most thankful for the life of my three year old son.

We (3 couples) were going to a concert at Thunder Valley in the evening and had requested to get into our rooms earlier than the 4:00 pm check-in. We arrived at 2:30 pm. The man behind the desk was answering our questions, but with a rude, impatient tone. One room came open at 3:00 pm and one couple took it while the rest of our party was waiting in the lobby. At 3:30 pm, I started to walk up to the counter and the man started waving me off and saying loudly "I haven't forgotten about you. The rooms aren't ready yet!!" Fortunately, when our rooms became available at 4:15 pm, there was a young woman behind the counter. We enjoyed our room, but they won't be getting our business again!!! POOR customer service!!!Rooms: We had a king suite and it was HUGE!! Loved the separate bedroom (with it's own TV) from the sitting room and kitchen. Very comfortable!Nearby activities: The hotel is situated behind a strip mall with a variety of stores and restaurants, so very convenient!Food & drinks: The breakfast in the morning was nice! Quite a wide variety of breakfast items to choose from. Hot scrambled eggs, bagels with cream cheese, blueberry muffins, sausage patties and links, waffles and cold cereal were available, plus more. And the coffee was hot! ☕

Small cooktop, fridge, micro, coffee pot. Would be great for longer stays. But good for just a night too.
