My car was running on empty, so I dragged myself to the gas station to fill it up. I prepaid $50 for gas, hoping to get everything sorted quickly. But of course, things couldn't go smoothly for me. As if my recent knee surgery, which left me with a torn ACL, MCL, meniscus, two fractures, and a bruised femur, wasn't enough, I had to deal with a series of infuriating events. First, the pump wouldn't turn on, so I hobbled back to the gas station, only to be met with a half-hearted apology from Lisa, the so-called manager. She assured me that the pump should be working now, so I painfully made my way back to my car, only to find out that nothing had changed. What a surprise! Annoyed and in pain, I made my way back to Lisa, who finally decided to accompany me to ensure I knew how to pump gas. But guess what? The pump was still out of order! How incompetent can one person be? I had to limp back to the gas station for the umpteenth time to express my frustration, and that's when Lisa dropped the bombshell. She nonchalantly informed me that she couldn't transfer the money over, leaving me puzzled and seething with anger. What on earth does corporate have to do with giving me the gas I paid for or refunding my money? I couldn't believe the audacity! She had the nerve to tell me to call in on Monday, as if that would magically fix everything. The whole experience left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. All I wanted was some gas and a bit of relief after my surgery, but instead, I got a runaround and a bunch of excuses. It's safe to say that this gas station and their so-called manager have lost a customer for good. Reading other comments sound about right shit show of a gas station.

I never know when this place is open?!....don't get me started on the "box.". What is this, 89th and G St. In Oakland? Ridiculous! I see countless gas stations with postings of thieves, yet this place is a really clean, seemingly well stocked in the middle of California Suburbia....never open!!!!To boot. Someone was there! ?

Disappointing. The gasoline is aerated which is a dirty trick, especially with gas prices being what they are, and the car wash doesn't rinse properly--there was soap all over my car's trunk. I had to park at a pump and wipe off the soap with towels. I've been coming to this Shell since it was opened, but the next time I need a car wash I'll probably go somewhere else.

Driving thru Rocklin and need gas, gas prices were higher to 7/11 across the street, but shell had everything i needed. I got coffee, hot breakfast, and the store was so clean inside and out, especially the bathroom! They got this new careash that was awesome, and very clean inside as well. Best gas station for overall service

This has turned into my go to station. The employees I've encountered have all been great. If I get the employees name that signed me up for the rewards, she deserves recognition and I'll be sure to update this.

Came here at 6:10 p.m. on a Thursday and the doors were locked. Figured the person working might have had to go to the bathroom. Waited 10 minutes the doors are still locked. I've had nothing but bad luck with this place the only reason I come here is for the convenience. I think it's time to look for another place.

I come here every night after work for gas. The window transaction is secure but confused me. I thought they said they were open but didn't help me a couple of nights

Stop by there today and got robbed by the clerk, I bought 10 packs of cigarettes and he gave me 8 packs in a paper bag, called back and was treated like a crimal and said he gave me 10 packs and said he has it on camera.... sad... went back the next day and manager reviewed the camera and took care of the situation

Turns out if you want to purchase alcohol this business requires you to give them your name, address & license info. WTH? Won't buy gas or stop here again.

Poor customer service and really poor management! I went to buy some energy drinks and I noticed they had a sale (like every gas station), buy 2 for $4.29 or 3 for $5.79, great! So I grab 3 Monsters and go to the register, the cashier rings them up and it comes to $9.67. I tell the cashier the case says they're on sale, but she tells me I have to sign up for their new Loop Back rewards to get the discount. Fine, I sign up, but the discount doesn't come off. The cashier (who was quite nice) asks the manager (Lisa Cadabona) and Lisa says they have to be mix and match to get the discount. I've never heard of them forcing you to mix and match, but okay, I grab 2 different types, still no discount. I say I'll just get 2 instead, as long as I can get a discount on them. They still ring up without a discount. At this point, I ask the manager if they can just give me the discount since it's plastered all over the case doors and on each row of drinks, but she says no, she has to call corporate, for a $2 discount, and there's nothing she can do right now. I figure she's either too lazy or too stupid to fix the situation (probably both), so I leave without the drinks. I'm pretty upset at this point because every gas station has the same deals and I felt like she couldn't care less about helping customers, so I went back in to get the manager's info and see if I could get a number for corporate or her boss. She gives me her name and says there's no number she can give, but she'll have her boss or corporate call me. Needless to say, I'm not expecting a call anytime soon and I won't be going to this Shell station ever again.

I don't know why the 2 stars but my experience at this Shell Gas Station has been only positive. I fill my truck with Diesel once a week here and so far they've been great. Every now and then I'll ask to pump air in my tires and they never asked me to pay. The location is very convenient and inside and outside is super clean (no trash or weird people around). My final take: Location 5 Stars Service 5 Stars Diesel/Gad 5 Stars
