Save Mart is a close and convenient grocery store with an excellent setup that carries most groceries customers need. The store is always well taken care of. Customer service at the Rocklin store is crazy good, with employees who are consistently kind, helpful, and nice. Many staff members go out of their way to provide great customer service, like a butcher who expertly slices meat to order or a longtime employee who diligently finds specific items from the back stock. This level of respectful and caring service sets Save Mart apart. While there was an isolated incident where an employee was rude at self-checkout, the overwhelming experience over years of shopping is positive, with almost never a bad experience. It is frequently described as the best place to shop.
