I've been calling several times, but I can't get to hold to anyone. I need to drive to rocklin to ask questions about my windshield.

Took my truck in for a shattered back window. Dropped it off at 8:30 for my appt. Used insurance for claim and stated I wanted the upgraded slider window installed and would pay the difference. They stated that they would keep me posted on progress, but they never did. I showed up @ 3pm to pick it up, and to my surprise they installed a factory glass. And the kicker is its not even in right. Not happy because of the lack of communication and the poor installation done.

Needed a windshield replaced through insurance last year, they recommended this place so I made an appointment. Even with an appointment, I still had to wait 2 hours before even checked in. The installers were incredibly sloppy, leaving adhesive marks and handprints everywhere. The installers also left their traveller inside of my vehicle, and when I turned around and returned it to the shop, they shrugged and obviously didn't care to keep their records organized or secure. After the install, I had paid my deductible in cash and it was confirmed through insurance. This vehicle was later stolen from my home with all service records inside of it, including this receipt. Now, they are rebilling me, insisting I pay it again or face collections. I am trying to buy a home so I don't have any choice but to pay it and hope for reimbursement.... They did not give a reasonable amount of time for me to deal with insurance without submitting to collections.I wouldn't trust this place as far as I can throw them. They're rushed, disorganized, and will double or triple bill you like comcast does when you disconnect service.Update: the main call center reached out to no resolution. The next day, I managed to manipulate my way through the automated call loops to a human, who was immediately helpful and connected me to the Rocklin location.According to the Rocklin location, the multiple bills are a mistake happening to multiple customers, and my account is showing as up to date as it should. They've advised me to bring the bill in person or provide a photo, and they will rectify the situation immediately.10/10 customer service at location, but 2/10 being able to reach them any way other than in person. Will update again to confirm the resolution as soon as I can.

They ordered the windshield for my hyundai sonata. After a long wait the installer told me there's a scratch in the middle of the window. They talked me into taking it and I would get my 250.00 deductible back. They lied to me. If they are trying to talk you into something, get in writing. It's poor quality.

Went for a windshield repair recommended through my insurance and they installed my windshield wipers upside down after the glass repair which I found out only when it started raining while I was driving and had to pull over. Based on the other reviews that seems to be the standard service to expect though, avoid this location if possible.

I scheduled my windshield replacement appointment six weeks ago and then planned my Friday around the appointment. I got a call the day before asking to move the appointment from 1:30pm to 11:30am since Tesla's take four hours to change the windshield and they did not think there would be enough time. Why did they let me schedule this in the first place then? They knew I had a Tesla. I could not switch the appointment to that time, so they asked if I could drop it off between 7:30-9:30am. They recommended getting there early, so it could be completed quickly. I showed up at 7:30am and handed over the key. I was asked if the car had at least 60% charge (fortunately it did, but no thanks to them). The employee I spoke with over the phone made no mention of this the day prior. The employee checking me in told me it was in the email that was sent to me. I had a ten minute wait for my Uber so I checked all me emails.... It was not in an email.I went home to take care of some work obligations and called Safelite at 11am to get an estimate on when my car would be completed. To my surprise, they said they had not started on it because my car was in Valet mode. I asked why I not told this when I handed over my key and why was I not called immediately. They said they called me, but I did not pick up. I verified two missed calls at 8:15 and 8:30. My phone was on silent and I was working, so I didn't see them. Why wasn't this discussed over the phone the day prior? Why wasn't this mentioned when I handed over the key? Why weren't there additional follow up calls from 8:30am until 11am? When were they going to call me if I had not called them at 11am? Were they going to just leave it sitting outside until closing?I finally got a text message that my car was ready at 3pm and told they close at 4pm, so make sure to be there before closing. Of course, I was at a doctor's appointment on the other side of town, and it was unlikely I'd make it in time. I asked them to leave the key in the car so I could lock it remotely. No response.Really poorly run business with terrible communication from start to finish. I figured I'd speak with management to give them feedback about the lack of communication throughout the process. Turns out the manager was the one checking me in. It all makes sense now.

One star removed because they installed an aftermarket windshield on my 2 years old car that was the same quality as a fish bowl. Then, without much argument, they replaced it with the original one.The second star removed because they sold me a pair of new windshield wipers, and they are terrible. The third star was removed because the glass was not cleaned after the installation - outside it was just dirty, and inside it was covered with some kind of grease that took forever to remove.Other than that, everything was fine: the installation took reasonable time, the waiting area is nice, and has coffee, little tables to set your tablet or laptop, etc.

If there was a way to give negative 5 on this company, I would. My window needed to be replaced. We paid 500.00 deductible, then turned in the rest for insurance. About 4 months later, I got a notice from a collection agency saying we didn't pay. I went to the store, talked to the manager and was told she would look into it. She did and got back to me with an updated receipt showing zero balance and assured me she would deal with the debt collection company. She did not. I received another threatening letter from a debt collection company demanding payment AGAIN! I cannot get through to a human being, customer service to even leave a message and listened to the automated advice to go to the website where the DO NOT have a way to contact a human being to fix this. Extremely disgusted by the level of care they show their clients.

Scheduled an appointment and was told they ordered the wrong windsheild. So I wasted about an hour for nothing. I then rescheduled to a new day when I didn't have school. The day arrived and was then told that I missed my appointment. Complete scheduling mess and wasted my time and gas for no service.

Was monitoring my vehicle app while awaiting my vehicle completion (tech was driving to complete camera calibration). I notice that the speed would fluctuate from 0 MPH to 75+ MPH. My vehicle lets me know what road it is on and when I looked it up on the maps the street view showed a 45 MPH speed limit on the road the tech was on. This acceleration happened multiple times during the calibration until the tech was in a more populated area. Additionally, the air conditioner was blasting with the windows open further consuming excess battery. Upon getting in my vehicle I noticed some messages under my battery consumption that stated the previous trip had "aggressive acceleration" and stating that keeping speed under 70 MPH would have saved slightly more battery power. The consumption graph showed peaks of 600+ Wh/mi. (photos attached). It is disheartening to know that personnel are willing to abuse customer vehicles in this manner, especially since most individuals would have no idea. The only positive is that the windshield turned out good so far and the interior was kept clean.

Stay away from this place and make sure you take a day off from work they will tell you it’s going to take hour and half but waited 4+ hours. They replaced the windshield with wrong one and was told my manager Sean and tech Jose you will be priority when you come back to get the correct windshield and they will get it done and hour and half and I can wait there. Waited over 4 hours and employees were very rude every time I asked they said let me check and should be done in 15 minutes. Worst place ever hopefully I will never have to go back. Wish I can give them ZERO star.

We've been to this location of Safelite many times. My wife drives on I-80 a lot and her windshield gets dinged, our insurance pays all but the deductible so it's convenient. That is unless they don't do their jobs which is what happened. In March, I had planned to go away with my golf buddies for a trip to Bandon Oregon, about an 8-hour drive. My windshield was cracked so I took it in the week before I was supposed to leave. I get the car back and they tell me that none of the safety features, the reason I bought the car, function because they screwed something up and didn't notice until after the windshield was on. Shouldn't affect the cruise control though. It, of course, did. They couldn't do the work to fix it before I left because it takes 10 days for the windshield glue to set or it'll be a mess getting it done.Took it back after I returned and amazingly they fixed it. I get mistakes happen but this is what they do day in, day out and you'd think stupid stuff like this wouldn't happen.Fast forward to July when we took my wife's BMW i3 in to get the windshield replaced. During the replacement, they damaged one of the trim pieces and "melted" it back together to put it in place. Sweet! They promised us they'd repair it, ordered the part and we waited for the call. My wife drives away and there is a very noticeable buzzing coming from the trim on the upper driver's side of the windshield. We called to follow up on the trim they damaged and told them there was an installation issue with the windshield. We bring it in for warranty assessment and "Lee" takes it for a test drive. Yup! There's an issue. Real rocket scientist here. He assures us, "No worries, I'm on it. I'll make sure this gets taken care of. Okay, we got someone who looks and acts responsibly. Looks can be deceiving, as we found out.Last week, I got a call. "Hey, we've got all of your parts. Bring it in." I made the appointment for a week later. My wife calls back and asks them if they are sure they have the parts. "Oh yeah, we're all set." We dropped the car off this morning, fingers crossed. We took two cars and I wheeled around to park in front of the store to pick my wife up and the "calibration specialist", who was probably the guy who screwed up my car in the first story pulls up behind me in a Tesla, yells at me from the car to move then blares the horn at me. I've been there for literally 2 minutes and I'm leaving in 1 minute when my wife comes out from dropping the car off. He gets out of the Tesla and rudely tells me "You've got to move your car, this isn't a parking spot." No "Hey, I've got to get into this bay. Could you please pull forward a little?" No, just a rude f'ing attitude. Nice! "Chase" was his name in case anyone from Safelite HQ cares about customer reviews. We get a call about 30 minutes later. "We found out what's wrong with it. We've got to order the parts."My wife was livid. Absolutely livid. We know what's wrong with it. You called us and told us you have the parts. We called you back and confirmed you had the parts. This wasn't a diagnostic or warranty appointment. This was a fix for our F'ING car appointment!I absolutely teed off on anyone within earshot. I've written the regional manager about this issue but honestly, I'm not hopeful. Sean the new manager was nice enough. He's got his hands full with that group of idiots, no question.Beyond getting this issue fixed, we will never go to Safelite again, ever. We've had enough. We'll take out business to local businesses who care about the work they do and don't jack around their customers.Do business with this store at your own risk. Btw, 1 star is too high for this business.
