The incredibly rude staff make you jump though hoops to get basic medicine or referrals. Im a diabetic and they have been nothing but an unhelpful burden with policies that are actively making my condition worse. This is the opposite of health care and I dont know how these people sleep at night.

Horrible service. From front desks to medical assistants, nurse practitioners, and doctors. Just horrible. Seems like everyone doesn’t love what they’re doing and you can really feel the negative energy coming from these people. Not caring at all. Terrible experience.

HORRIBLE Service! If I could give 0 I would. My husband is an amputee and they refused to even meet with him as a potential new patient. Amputees have to deal with chronic pain and take pain medication. Refusing to even meet with him when he is in need of a new doctor is DISGUSTING! I am completed disgusted with this facility and how he was spoken to and HUNG UP ON! This facility should be ashamed of itself for treating a person with a legit disability so rudely!

Dr. Chima, recommended to me by my fiancee, has truly been a remarkable healthcare provider. From the moment I started seeing him, I've been impressed by his dedication and genuine concern for my well-being. I have seen Dr Harris a few times and his dismissive attitude towards my concerns is making me switch doctors. When going in a few days ago for a yearly physical and noticing my weight has decrease said, 'Well, your husband must be happy.' So my husband is only happy if I am thinner? Who says that to a patient?! Completely unprofessional. Then when I asked for an explanation about a comment he made on tests I had completed, responded with, 'If I had 30 minutes to explain it, I would, but basically you aren't in your twenties anymore.' Any questions or concerns, were met with some type of basic dismissive 'you are old' response without any clarity. A dismissive attitude with zero follow up might have been great in the 50's but the times have changed.

Dr Harris is so kind and patient and really takes the time to explain everything. He has brought my diabetes down so much so I can live longer. Michelle Pharmacist is wonderful. The front desk people are amazing.

I would never recommend this medical group to anyone the staff are so rude I made appointment 4 weeks ago and they canceled my appointment right few hours before my appointment

Rocklin Family Practice and Sports Medicine is the best. Rachel and Michelle take care of me and I’ve been with the practice since 2022 when I moved to the area. They are always able to squeeze me in, take great care when discussing my concerns, and the reception is super nice. Very grateful to have found this practice!

I had my initial general physical with Dr. Bains and was impressed with this family practice overall as well as with Dr. Bains. I had no wait time, I was seen immediately. The visit was with two different staff, an RN or PA (I don't remember which, sorry) and with Dr. Bains. All the staff were thorough, professional, kind, and caring. I needed a procedure done at that visit and it was handled quickly and easily, and the results were communicated clearly and in simple terms. Several follow-up activities were required, and the referral process was clearly explained, as was the follow-up process. I was given a prescription that was sent to my pharmacy immediately and filled later that day. I felt great confidence in the staff and know that my health care is in good hands with Rocklin Family Practice. Their online site is clear and easy to use, and I was able to ask a follow-up question via the app and get an answer quickly. Highly recommend this practice.

I would recommend to look elsewhere. Had I seen a review like this, I would never have called here. It took over a month to schedule a physical... It has been 5 weeks and I still do not have a referral for the basic bloodwork that goes along with a standard physical - I only get a voicemail when I try and call the doctor's assistant as well. I also spent about 30 minutes waiting for a doctor in the examination room, which ended up being 30 minutes after my scheduled my appointment (I also showed up 15 min early, so it was a long time). If you're looking for a new doctor, again, I would not recommend this medical group.

I was referred to this doctor by another one whom I trust and admire but so far my experience has been terrible time after time after time. Their communication, follow through, professionalism and recordkeeping is garbage. They don't respond to doctors or nurses either and it's incredibly frustrating not being able to get any type of communication. Save yourself the hassle and skip this practice.

Looking for a new doctor is always a bit stressful… I’m sure the doctors of this practice are wonderful! When I called though, the front desk put me on hold for 10 mins which is understandable. But the shortness and rudeness of the receptionist was not appreciated! I hope my review will help influence the front staff to be a bit more nice for the next person. I will not be going with them.

This office is run horribly. Aside from my positive experience with the Sports Medicine Physician, everything has been chaotic. This includes long waits for referrals (that were suggested by the provider) and return calls. I got routine labs done, with zero follow up and it's been months, one of the items is out of range and requires medication. I don't have more than a couple simple medical issues, I can't imagine being a patient here with complex problems. What a train wreck. Time for a new Office Manager or something. Front desk is rude upon all my visits, when you call they are quick to forward you to someone's voicemail. Absolutely poor patient care.
