PetSmart
5450 Crossings Dr, RocklinI came here yesterday for the first time my cats were out of dry cat food and so I came here with a mission of finding my cats cat food. I was surprised when I saw the price was 1979, which normally for the 5 pound bag of neutral cat food it runs over $24 so to see it for $19.79 was definitely nice when I went to the cashier I warmed her that I saw a sign that said 1979 and she said it should ring up at that price well it wasn't so she went over and checked it and took a picture of it and said it was for the 3 pound bag. I informed her I looked for the 3 pound bag of dry cat food and could not find it and that if it's in that spot it should be honored for the price so she called over the manager. The manager says unfortunately we do have to honor it unfortunately? I was thinking of myself if it's in the wrong price it should be honored for that price, I've worked retail over 20 years and depending on the item and how much it is you have to honor it if it's under $10 so the manager cut me off her when she said unfortunately why should it be unfortunately it should be if it's in the wrong spot, it should be honored for The price has showed that's one of the reasons for my four star review because I didn't think the managers should make the comment. Unfortunately no manager if it's in the wrong price on it for that price that's common sense it's not like it's coming out of your pocket which these companies act like it does when it really doesn't. The establishment itself was nice very wide selection of items to choose from. I even found some my dogs, favorite wet food here on my visit, the visit here was nice except for the manager making the comment. I thought it was really uncalled for it should've been kept herself other than that my experience here was very nice with a lot of great things to choose from for your furry friend. They don't have items for your dog. They have items for fish and much more if you're thinking about adding a little addition to your family, whether that be a hamster or whatever I would highly recommend that you check out petsmart.com before you go in so you can have an idea of what you're looking for. Thank you Petsmart in Rocklin I wish you wouldn't question your customers like that and make the comment unfortunately because that made me very uncomfortable not sure if I wanna come back to this location. I might just make the effort and drive to Roseville next time since they don't make inappropriate comments management should really take this under consideration they should not make comments like that in front of a paying customer

Pet Grooming
Dogtopia of Rocklin
6671 Stanford Ranch Rd suite a, RocklinI started bringing my dog here last year in December. For an indoor playroom, dogtopia is the best in Rocklin. Staff are always friendly and the front is very clean. I love how I can check on my dog to see how he's doing while he's there through the Dogtopia app since they have a webcam feature. The app is also very user friendly to book and cancel appointments. Prices are very reasonable too. Overall, my dog loves coming here and is always tired when I bring him home.

Animal Dermatology Clinic
5175 Pacific St B, RocklinWe've been coming here for at least a year. I'm not sure the exact length of time, but I mention this because I'm prefacing this review with a TBD. These allergy injection treatments take a couple of years to see results, so we're still waiting to find out if it works. So far, I've been really pleased with the following things. 1. The staff are always super nice and helpful. 2. They have a phone number where we can text pictures of our dog's breakouts so the doctor can look at it quickly without us having to drive an hour round trip to come in. 3. They are the only business in the area that still requires masks, and as someone who is still experiencing symptoms from having covid once, I really really appreciate this! My pitbull has really serious skin issues, and the medications they have prescribed have cleared up the issues in the short-term which is great. We're also on the injections, which are longer term, and this is just for her allergy issues. We have a different vet for everything else. Luckily all of the treatments we've gotten here have been covered by pet insurance, so I feel lucky we've found this place.

Willow Rock Pet Hospital
6661 Stanford Ranch Rd STE M, RocklinMy husband and I cannot say enough good things about willow rock and their vets, vet techs and staff! About a little over a month ago we noticed our 16 year old yorkie Bella was needing to go potty a lot, upon inspection we noticed some blood in her urine. We were taking our dogs to Rocklin Ranch Vet office but when we called they said they had no openings and wanted to charge us like $175 just to see her and keep her all day as an emergency charge, we decided to call Willow Rock and from the start I’m so glad that we did! They got us in same day, no extra emergency charges. One of the things that my husband and I really liked was that the Vet actually comes out to greet you and take you back to a room, I’ve never experienced that in all the vets my dog has seen and that really stuck with me. The vet we saw listened to our concerns and addressed all of them. About a month after her UTI, our pup had some blood coming out of her bottom uncontrollably on herself, we called right away and again willow rock got us in instantly within like 20 minutes, no emergency vet assessment charge, assessed her, created a game plan and were very thorough. She ended up with pancreatitis and we got her on the proper treatment. During all this time we noticed her teeth were really starting to bug her so we discussed our options on how to proceed with that since she is 16 years old. They did extensive lab work and recommended waiting 14 days until her redraw for her pancreas levels. The following day after her pancreatitis visit she was still really drowsy from the pain medication she got so when they called to check up on her we explained how she was and again they got her in same day to give her more fluids to help, which perked her right up! Well fast forward to this week, we went in for her monthly librela injection and her redraw of her pancreas labs and during that visit the vet tech came out to talk to me about the plan for her dental work the following day and I had told her how nervous I was just because she’s 16 and she went out of her way to explain everything they do to help ease my anxiety about it and it did. Unfortunately, Bella’s pancreas lab was still messed up but since her mouth was still bugging her the vet said we can either proceed with the dental work which is higher risk or wait an additional 14 days when ultimately the pancreas can still be elevated due to potential dental disease infection. We decided to go through with the dental work to improve her quality of life, and I must say I was distraught about if I was making the right choice because I did not want to take my dog in and not have her come home with us. Well it’s as if the vet knew because she personally came out to talk to us, discuss her plan and made me feel much better about her going under anesthesia. I am happy to say that my dog did great with the procedure and is hopefully on the mend now to improve her quality of life. We cant thank the entire staff there enough for all their love and care they’ve showed Bella as well as us over this past month. You can tell they genuinely care about your family member and it’s not just about money to them. I feel like my dog is in safe hands when she goes there and it really puts me at ease. I have had my yorkie literally half my life since she was 8 weeks old, so she means the world to me and I only want what’s best for her and I know that’s what they want as well!
The 2 vets we have been seeing for our pup are Dr. Cabrera and Dr. Thompson and they have been nothing short of amazing. I don’t think they realize just how much it means to us to have them come out to physically talk to us or call us and explain things in detail to put us at ease!
We have dealt with multiple vet techs/vet assistants and they have also all been wonderful and friendly as well as the girls at the reception desk! We truly love bringing our pup here!

Mindscape Fermentations
5424 Crossings Dr Suite 105, RocklinAlways a good go to place for seasonal rotating drinks! Love coming in and trying their kombucha and sour beers, they're always very accommodating and let you try all the drinks before deciding on one. There is even a choice to do a flight! Their Panini sandwich and chips were good! Just the right amount of food balanced with a drink. We LOVED the Chilean-style chimichurri, just be aware it has a kick! This time around, we sat at the bar and the owner Lauren was super nice and attentive! Love how transparent she is with her business and all the new ideas they plan to bring to their business in the near future. They do all kinds of events throughout the week, including trivia nights, and live music. They keep small signs showing dates of events to keep you updated if you want to enjoy extra entertainment or know when to come when it's a bit more lowkey. Outdoor seating is an added plus!

Edwin's Coffee & Tea
2600 Sunset Blvd, RocklinI’ve lived in Rocklin for almost 2 years now, and I’m so happy that I discovered this place only 2 months into my move. This cafe is one that you don’t come across anymore. The old, worn-in leather seating (which is very comfortable by the way), the classic rock playing from the old television, the warm and inviting indoor atmosphere overall, the pet-friendly, shaded outdoor patio, and the incredible service that Edwin and his two kids bring to the community to name a few reasons. Last but certainly not least, is the quality of coffee and food and that is completely made to order. This isn’t the place for go-go-go though. And that’s what I love the most. Edwin doesn’t care to be like every other basic coffee shop that sacrifices their service and quality of products for the instagram likes.

The sausage varieties were all amazing, with the best pretzels in the US, and a delicous beer cheese sauce. The pork knuckle was tender and a surprise to see in the states. The atmosphere is perfect, cozy, and welcoming. This is such a gem. Everyone should visit here if you're ever on the west coast.

Pete's Restaurant & Brewhouse- Rocklin
2210 Sunset Blvd, RocklinBeen here multiple times now. The bartender is so nice, Emmaline (i probably butchered the spelling). But she is absolitelt great.. I usually come for happy hour. After a couple of times she recognized me, remembered part of my preferences, and was just super nice.. The beers are good. The wings are amazing. So is pizza. And pasta. I've never tried something I didn't like here. Will keep coming back.
I do have to say though...Do not go on a Monday. The bartender that worked today (10/21) was so rude. Had an attitude the whole time. Barely said 2 words to me. Basically did the bare minimum to get her job done. Didn't even once check on me or if I like my food/drinks. I had to get her attention to get a second beer before the happy hour was done...she only checked on her regulars...but even with them I could tell she wasn't really chatty...don't really think she wanted to be there.
