From the moment we stepped into La Petite Academy of Rocklin, we knew we had found something special. This daycare is not just a place where our daughter spent her days, but a nurturing environment where she thrived, and we were welcomed into a warm and caring community. Here are a few of the amazing things they did:Community Building: Moving from Washington to California was a significant transition for our family. We were new to the area, without any local friends or family. However, La Petite Academy welcomed us with open arms. From day one, they took exceptional care of our daughter and made us feel like part of their community. The staff went above and beyond to ease our transition, keeping us informed and offering help whenever needed. Within a week, we were greeted by name during pick-ups and drop-offs, making us feel like we were part of a second family.Phenomenal Teachers: The teachers at La Petite Academy of Rocklin are simply the best. During our time in Rocklin, our daughter was fortunate to learn from Miss Marielle, Kolia, Hayley, Vivian, and Autumn. These ladies are incredibly hardworking, professional, and caring. Their dedication and love for what they do were evident every time I checked the cameras. I would often see them actively talking with the children, hugging them, reading stories, and conducting fun activities. They meticulously planned weekly projects aimed at achieving milestones. These projects fostered creativity and encouraged the children to learn and grow. The teachers would invest in a variety of materials, prepare, and show genuine excitement about the themes they were covering. Their enthusiasm was contagious! Our refrigerator quickly filled up with art, and we found ourselves bringing those themes home and continuing the discussion with our daughter.Exceptional Education: I am amazed at how much my daughter was able to thrive under their care. By 20 months, she could identify colors, count, and was beginning to learn the alphabet. She had a vocabulary of approximately 100 words, and all this came exclusively from La Petite Academy. We know this for a fact because we only speak Spanish at home and during our time living in Rocklin we had very limited social interactions.Attention to Detail: La Petite Academy’s commitment to providing a comprehensive experience is evident in their attention to detail. They offer a range of services, including camera access for parents, nutritious meals, regular communication, and even diapers and wipes. They also organize holiday celebrations and family events, arrange external vendors for photos or fun activities, and more. There were days I wish I worked there or attended school! In conclusion, our experience at La Petite Academy of Rocklin was unparalleled. The director, Megan, and her incredible team have created a daycare that truly stands out for its commitment to education, community, and the overall well-being of the children, families and teachers. When we had to relocate out of state, the hardest part was truly to leave this daycare. We had grown so attached to the staff and the other families, and we knew our daughter would miss them dearly. They even gave us a beautiful photo album of our daughter’s memories at La Petite. We miss them dearly and can confidently say that finding a similar daycare after our move has been a challenge. They have set the bar high, and we are so grateful for the year and a half our daughter spent under their care.

Took a tour. They were full at the time but was told when the kids age up they would have room. I said not a problem. I would like to sign up. Was told they would reach out but no one ever contacted me. I reached out through email on more than one occasion and never heard back.

Terrible costumer service. I called them trying to figure out about openings and couldn't get any information. The person who picked up the phone was less the useless.

We toured several preschools before choosing La Petite for our 4 year old son. There is so much to love about this school, I am sad to see that the two negative reviews were by people who haven't actually experienced this school to the full extent. The staff is beyond friendly, every teacher and staff member greets my son each time we arrive by his first name, making him feel special and welcome each and every day. Each day they do fun and exciting activities and even coordinate learning with seasons and holidays. My son is still talking about the day that the leprechaun visited his classroom and it makes my heart so happy! My child has learned SO much in the few months that we have been attending. I have seen such a big difference in his communication skills and confidence. I love that they have dance and music time for the kids to have fun and get some extra exercise in. I absolutely LOVE being able to watch him during the day on the live video feed. Seeing him thrive makes me so incredibly happy. Lastly, Miss Debbie and Miss Carissa are absolutely phenomenal and have made my son so comfortable and truly excited to go to school. They have showed nothing but kindness, patience and it is clear that they truly enjoy what they do. I am looking forward to bringing our daughter here too. Thank you La Petite! We are so grateful for you!!

My little brother went there for awhile, he is 2 years old and they literally told me that they would not help him use the bathroom when we specifically told them he is not fully potty trained so he needs assistance. Needless to say they told him to go by himself and he said he needed help and did not help him. And when I went to pick him up they glared at me and did not hand me his belongings when I specifically asked for them. He refuses to do back there, he said he does not like it and I can see why. They are neglectful and won’t do anything to help him out especially when he said another kid was hitting him. Never bringing him back there. I don’t recommend it because they obviously have a lot more kids than they do staff members and it’s very chaotic sometimes.

This place is a joke! Zero academics! My daughter was there for 4 hrs and all she did was walk in circles and they read 3 books and all the teachers did was clean up after the kids the destroyed the class room. If you don't give 2 sh&ts about your kid learning and just want to drop them off the do nothing it's a great place!

My son has been with La Petite about 2.5 years and he loves it.. He loves all his teachers and the rest of the staff. He was always pretty shy but I think being at La Petite has helped him come out of his shell and be so much more outgoing. He's currently taking Muzzy classes (aka Spanish class) and I love how he busts out Spanish words out of the blue. We are really happy with La Petite and how they've helped my son grow.

Our two children have attended La Petite Academy for three years and the whole time it has been wonderful. The entire staff has been very caring and the kids really enjoy going there. With my work schedule they are flexible which makes our lives a lot easier. Our family would highly recommend this facility to the any family that needs a safe and loving place to have their kids attend!

We started our daughter at La Petite when she was 4 months old and were very nervous about who was taking care of her. She is now 4 years old and La Petite is her second family. They have helped teach her so much, from potty training to Spanish. I would recommend La Petite to anyone. Thank you La Petite for taking such great care of the most important thing in my life!!!

I toured the facility it was nice but when I tried to put my child in. The director was so rude she told me she would call me back and never did. I called twice and never got a respond back.
